    Thank you SO SO much for this! I’m feeling really stressed out right now (even though I’m a junior) and the other videos I’d seen made me feel so unaccomplished and less likely to get in. Listening to your advice helped me calm down and make the impending application season seem less daunting. You are incredible at explaining things and I am really happy for you!

    These tips have been the most helpful tips I’ve ever seen, my dream school is Harvard. I also come from a high school that doesn’t have a lot of resources and I’m trying to create clubs and get into contests but I don’t how to put that in my application without sounding resentful or like I’m giving excuses so I would love to see how you did it in your essays.

    great video! was wondering why you chose to apply with questbridge application to a few schools instead of common app :)

    • @ElsieInCollege
      @ElsieInCollege  3 года назад +3

      I used the Questbridge application for most of my reaches that took Questbridge since I thought it would make me stand out more as there are fewer people on the QB application than on the Common App. However, due to some laziness and some last-minute decisions, I didn't use Questbridge for all the schools that I could have--but there was no particular logic to it!

    why'd you choose to not use Qb for your upenn app?

    • @ElsieInCollege
      @ElsieInCollege  3 года назад +1

      I made a last-minute decision to apply to UPenn because I was feeling unconfident about my chances haha but the deadline for Questbridge had already passed so I used the Common App instead.
