Correct. There’s only been one game (week 2) in which they’ve trailing in the 4th qtr. Furthermore, they’ve held a double-digit lead in the 4th qtr in 4 of their 7 games.
What an absolutely insane take to say the Chiefs should’ve lost to the Raiders and Niners. Chiefs we’re up by 2 touchdowns going into the final two minutes of both games 😂 glasses clearly only reviewed the box score
Look beyond the stat sheet-the data shows us he’s only had 7 turnover-worthy plays yet has 9 INTs. This tells us (and is backed up by the film) that *some* of these are not his fault. Most obvious example is an interception against the Saints that hit Smith-Schuster in the hands. Don’t get me wrong, he’s had some UGLY picks (the one against the Chargers comes to mind), but turnover luck will regress to the mean over time. People will hyper-focus on the TOs yet ignore other mistakes he’s made that have actually been even worse IMO (eg happy feet, not putting enough air under deep throws, prematurely ejecting from clean pockets, dropping his eyes bc he’s sensing pressure that’s not always there, holding the ball w/ one hand too often on scrambles, locking onto Kelce too often instead of continuing through his read progressions and missing other open players, etc). Some of this is bc he’s “scarred” and skiddish from his teammates’ mistakes in ‘23 (eg the OTs allowing too many pressures and a subpar WR corps that led the league in drops). This will improve as the season goes on bc most of those players are no longer with the team. Furthermore, the perception that they have a bad offense is untrue. Here’s how they stack up: -9th in pts/game -6th in pts/drive -10th in yds/game, -7th ranked offense per PFF -9th in offensive DVOA -10th in EPA per play -1st in success rate -2nd in third down conversion % -3rd in fourth down conversion % -4th in series conversion rate And they’ve been missing RB1, WRs 1, 2, and 4. Rashes Rice is the only one of these players that will not return at some point this season, but they’ve added Hopkins to help pick up the slack. They’ll be fine
"Mahomes isn't playing well" is a narrative that started last year because he's not putting up the huge stats he did a couple of years ago. Their defense darn well better be contributing, they traded away good offensive players to build it. "They just win" is a lazy take. They still are top 10 in the league in scoring. If Allen or Stroud were on Chiefs with the same players they would not be undefeated. Mahomes contributes far more to Chiefs wins than he gets credit for.
What’s wrong with Mahomes? Let’s see…WR1-3 OUT, RB1 OUT and a left tackle that gives up more pressure than a shook up beer can! They’re making moves to address the issues so we’ll see vintage Mahomes starting this week on MNF.
1:19 Just FYI that INT happened with 6 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter and the Chiefs were already leading 17-10. So let’s say Raiders punch it i. for a TD…do you really think that’s a death sentence for KC?? With more the a quarter remaining to regain the lead? FWIW their next 3 possessions were FG, TD, and kneel downs. Furthermore, why is it that when people play the “woulda coulda shoulda” game that they only extend benefit of the doubt to one team and not for both? Each of those games you mentioned…do you really think there weren’t things that bad bounces (metaphorically and literally) that worked against the Chiefs too?? I’m fine with hypotheticals bc it can be a worthwhile exercise, but if you’re unwilling to make those same concessions for BOTH teams in a given game then you’re just being disingenuous and unfair.
That’s mental re Raiders and 49ers. The Chiefs know the season is a marathon while others think their next game is their biggest. They are sleepwalking through the regular season with their alarms set to wake them up at the start of the playoffs.
The Chiefs set the bar high and maintained it for 3-4 years. Even their mediocre play is better than 90% of the league. I'll take wins over flashy plays anytime.
These guys clearly haven’t watched any of these games. How many of Mahomes’ INTs were flukes? How many Mahomes plays has he made? How much have the Chiefs run this year? This “show” is ridiculous.
It’s the defenses the leauge is catching up and there running a Tampa 2 high safety in a passing leauge so to force the safety to drop you need a strong run game so you need to play old school hard nose football strong O LINE RUN THE BALL 🏈 and score baby
they never trail in 4th quarter, if you see the box score not the game, the game seem close, but the fact is, it wasnt.

If you could choose any player in the league, you’d undoubtedly select Mahomes, assuming you have a good understanding of football.

One hundred percent, they kinda wild, like they've been actually doing rly good on offense tbh, the running game os scary
Exactly!

You guys definitely don’t need a talk show if you can’t take time to actually watch games vs looking at box scores🤣

Chiefs trailed in the 4th quarter for only 9 mins TOTAL!!! The WHOLE SEASon!!!! They are in good position

What’s not playing well when you’re 7-0. This guy with glasses has no idea what he is talking about.
He doesn't have massive stats because they play conservatively. Plus WR1,2 AND 4 is injured

I know that red headed dude didn't just say the raiders and niners cud have beaten the Chiefs if xyz happened!!!! SMFH!!! Idiocracy to the fullest!!
Wow what are these guys watching ?😮

The Chiefs should’ve three-peated years ago - but they DIDN’T
AND THEY WILL THREE-PEAT when they shouldn’t have BUT THEY WILL
Dude has a case of EndZonePhobia, killing fantasy teams.
