    I love your confidence, it's so enjoyable to watch. You have a lot of (well-founded) faith in yourself and it shows without you ever coming across like a jerk and it's really really cool 😊
    For me an especially helpful tip was riiiiiight in the beginning when you broke down the head into a cube, and then you cut a cube out of the big cube and that formed the basis for the skull. It really helped to confine the proportions nicely!
    This was a really fun video and I'm stoked to start all the other ones! Thank you for what you do and that you do it for free!!

    Hey, Kaycem! Im new to your channel and wanted to ask if you had any advice that you would give to someone trying to get into concept art/character design (i think character design is a form of it lol). Im still currently pushing my improvement and learning but wasnt so sure on how to go about things like a portfolio for instance. Theres alot i want to ask but i dont wanna overwhelm you with questions haha.

    • @KaycemCrew
      @KaycemCrew  Год назад +5

      Hey @Starbutter ! Firstly, thank you for checking out my channel and leaving this comment 🙏 I made this RUclips channel so that I can help answer questions that I might've missed on Twitch so please ask away aha
      I have a few videos come out soon that will actually talk more about how to get more into character design but here are a pointers to hopefully get you started:
      - Find some of the shows/games/movies/comics that you would've liked to do concept art/character design for and start studying their art. Try to see what catches your eye and maybe even try to redraw some of those things yourself. For example, if you like League of Legends, study some of the splash arts or the proportions of the characters.
      - Go on platforms like Instagram, Artstation, Twitter, LinkedIn and look for artists that worked on the projects you would've wanted to work on and chances are they have a link to their portfolio! Take a look at what they are including and see if you can do some of those things yourself. Common things to look out for are turnarounds, expressions, and poses.
      - Last but not least, don't worry too much about "making a perfect portfolio that others will like" but instead focus on the things you enjoy to drive your pieces. Putting your own creative twists into your art can go a long way in making you stand out.
      Hope this helps and wishing you the best on your art journey~

      Hey thanks for leaving this comment! Interestingly enough the way that I draw heads stems from the Loomis method but over time as I've adapted my style and workflow, I've come up with the way that I draw heads now~
      I believe in my earlier videos like this one: ruclips.net/video/S-2vPrFWNP0/видео.html I go over how to draw the heads but I'll also make some future videos where I cover it again!

    One thing, don't tell people to get the worksheet in the video if you remove it when you end the stream cause people will join the discord trying to find it but it not there anymore that is false advertising.

    • @KaycemCrew
      @KaycemCrew  Год назад +6

      Thanks for the feedback! I dont think it's false advertising if I'm explicitly telling people they will be removed at the end of the "stream" and not the video. Plus joining the Discord will give access to future opportunities to download resources when I do go "live" so I don't think it hurts to let people know resources can exist on the server 😊

    • @kataro100
      @kataro100 Год назад +3

      @@KaycemCrew ok, first; it was not said in the video that it will be removed at the end of the stream. so you still pull people in say there is resources but they will only find out it is removed once they join and saying maybe they might get it if they catch the next stream. That a from of false advertising call "a Bait and Switch"🙂. but still nice work on video.
