This is a Hell Yes from me Brother! Epic Tones and understanding of how to create these killer tones. I’ll be back on the guitar soon thanks to your inspiration and friendship 🧡
@@jayboy6895 Bro ❤️ 🙏 coming from you that’s a huge compliment and ditto on the friendship and inspiration you’ve graciously supplied as well! You rock my friend! 🤘
The Clean tone & playing is something I could play on forever. Thanks for taking the time to make this video & share this preset. By far my favorite player around! A++
@@vaisatchatrucci Man, and then you bust into Endless Summer Nights! I'm dyin'!!! I'm a drummer/producer and not much of a guitar player, but I love your ideas and your tastes, man. Keep it up! Great insights.
@@DeaneOgden Aw man thanks so much! You’re too kind I really appreciate that and yeah Landau is the GOAT when it comes to schmoo! I mean that clean tone on “I’m Buzzed” and of course all the Richard Marx and Steve Perry… I can’t get enough!
Gorgeous tone. Thanks for that. Steve Stevens also came to mind, but really every great from the '80s. Just to think that back in the day we would have needed a rack the size of Manhattan to achieve this :D
@@wasichu66 Thanks brother! I appreciate that! And yeah it’s crazy what you can achieve for a fraction of the size and cost of what you needed back in the day right?!
@@SessionGold Appreciate that brother! Yeah once I started using expression pedals to control delay and reverb mix levels like 15 years ago (maybe longer UGH! 😂) when I first got into midi controller rigs and saw how Lukather was doing that as well with his live rig it just made sense to me I guess. Mainly because I always hated programming presets and would rather mix on the fly 😂
@@diegoblanco-o3x Thanks so much! I assume you mean like adding a distortion or OD block before the amp? Should be fine! OR you could certainly add another amp and cab for high gain as well and use scenes to go back and forth between clean and dirty. Hope that helps!
Man, sounds amazing. Thanks....playing with it now. Do you have a good 80's tone you recommend for say Whitesnake, Still of the Night (main distortion riffs)?
@JSRJS I do! You can try my all in one preset or I actually also have a preset I did for Whitesnake / John Sykes that I have a video for on my channel going over the preset and believe either one honestly would be great but try the John Sykes one first and see how that does for you. Preset is here: cloud.neuraldsp.com/cloud/discover/preset/view/ef03b2e6-984b-4e6a-be0f-2faf084c9eb4 Video is here - Its says its for "Is this Love" but there are several scenes covering several tones I believe : ruclips.net/video/DBZNPoUdZoQ/видео.htmlsi=ZIunqFO9HDwhLaFR Hope that helps!
@@matteoradi Thanks so much brother! 🙏 Appreciate that very much! And yes, I use expression pedals. If you check out my “Pimp Your Pedalboard” video I actually show my Quad Cortex pedalboard there at the beginning. 2 expression pedals to the left of the QC and one volume pedal to the right of the QC. Thanks again! 🤘
@@tomekolszak7186 All 3 are for the same guitar. One details pickup connections, one details switching and one details the mid-boost. It’s all required for the one guitar and not for 3 different guitars in other words. Hope that helps!
