It’s so fun as someone who grew up with The Bee Gees to see your generation discover their talent. Their music for me represents a wonderful time in my life and like everyone is saying, no auto tune, just pure talent. So sad when Maurice (pronounced Morris) and Robin died.
And loss of their youngest brother, Andy. With Barry’s grooming, he had a very successful solo career. The first three singles all went to #1….Andy passed away in March of 1988 of myocarditis. His many years of drug abuse left him with little ability to fight. He was just 30 years old 😢
@@Imdevantewarner You can believe it, he was the only one who had his family with him EVERYWHERE by all tournees, concerts, around the world, he once said he is a boring person, never was in a disco, didn`t like partys, one ofd the reasons he is the only one still alive!
I’m 61 and couldn’t Agree more. Extremely talented family. Barry was always as we would say “to die for”!😂❤ I also liked when Robin sang Nights on Broadway.
This is one of the best reactions I've heard on this song. I've listened to at least 200 reactions on this song. I'm a 68 year old male. I grew up on this song. It's my favorite song of all time. I was a DJ and this this song came out it changed my life. The two outside bros are twins. All three pros have a great history. Again your reaction was great. A sense of humor is very important.
Obviously the bee gees hit big fame but still not enough to justify just how talented they were! Thanks for listening brother I’m glad you appreciate their talent! Love from UK 🇬🇧 to my brothers in USA 🇺🇸 Long live the king 👑 and god bless America 🇺🇸 🦅 🫡
I'll be 61 this coming October and EVERYONE adored the BeeGees! Regardless of race, class, age, sex, etc. we could all get together to appreciate excellence! If we could only go back to the 70's!!!
I'll be 56 in October and my mom introduced me to the Bee Gees long before they had some songs in a movie about disco. I love me some 60's-early 70's Bee Gees on a long road trip; nothing but me, my car Blubaru, and the Brothers Gibb.❤
Remember, his brothers were singing pitch perfect harmony - also in falsetto. All 3 made it look dead easy. Oh this was in the late 70's. The clothing gives it away if nothing else does. Dressed perfect for the time
Pure talent resampled 9 times in each voice. You’re hearing 27 voices. Their harmonies were awesome, but to say electronics didn’t play a gigantic part is simply not true.
@@Emceepe….so true!..any producer would instantly catch this fact…and not to take anything away from their true talented gifts in all due respect…but it is amazing how so many people have that strong tendency to think that this is completely live..maybe some parts are..but definitely a wonderful masterpiece!
go down the bee gees rabbit hole you will never be sorry....and it will take you a long time...barry is in the middle the other 2 are his twin brothers 3 yrs younger..they have been singing and preforming since they were little kids...barry is the only one alive now...i'm stuck on their 80's and 90's songs right now...too much heaven was from 1978...you will enjoy the ride if you decide to take it...and you should
Barry and brothers wrote most of their songs, they are my ALL time favorites, not Beatles nor Beach Boys, their harmony is awesome..side brothers are twins, younger brother died first..They wrote for many other artist too..
I love your reaction. Barry Gibb did slay back in the day. He was all anyone talked about and drooled over. The other two were practically invisible. He began slaying in the 60s and never quit. He’s a god. Barry Gibb was effortlessly cool. He’s also a really good guy.
They are legends, wrote more than 1000 songs for themselves and other famous artists. Barry(in the middle) is the founder of the group, they started singing as kids when Barry was 9 and the twins 6. In 1968, at just 22 years old and still without a full beard or lion's mane, Barry was voted "Sexiest Man Alive". He married his wife Linda at the age of 24 and is still married to her (54 years now) having 5 children and 7 grandchildren. React to stayin alive please, I think you`ll know the song!
Barry & Barbra Streisand's Guilty album was nominated for 5 but only won 1, which was for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo. Unfortunately, after the work Barry put into the LP, he wasn't allowed to talk about it publicly, per the twins. No jealousy there!😁
Barry Gibb and his brothers Maurice and Robin. He is fabulous so much talent! Wrote and sang so many hits, dance, disco, movies … Saturday Night Fever, check it out, you will love it.
@@jolandafrijlink6103 I’m not saying they’re weren’t extremely talented, but in no way at all is Too Much Heaven “all natural” talent. “The recording process was the longest of all the tracks on Spirits Having Flown as there are nine layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix: Barry on falsetto lead three times falsetto high harmony three times falsetto low harmony three times Barry on natural voice lead three times high harmony three times low harmony three times Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times high harmony three times low harmony three times”

@Devonte Warner They are brothers (The Brothers Gibb). Barry (in the middle, is the oldest. And yes, I had a crush on him back in the day). The other two (Robin & Maurice) are fraternal twins. They had a younger brother (Andy Gibb) who had a great solo career. He was too young to join his older brothers at that time. The Bee Gees were big in the Black Community back in the day. Please react to more! Here’s a list with my interpretation of what genre I think they fall under: Too Much Heaven (R&B) Went to #1 How Deep Is Your Love (R&B Ballard), went to #1 Staying Alive (disco), went to #1 Night Fever (disco), went to #1 You Should Be Dancing (R&B or disco), went to #1 Fanny be tender with my love (R&B). Quincy Jones said this was his favorite R&B song. It’s a favorite of mine too. Jive Talking (R&B), went to #1 Nights on Broadway (R&B/Funk)..you’ll hear the brothers “natural” voices in this song. Tragedy (Techno? Pop) It also went #1 More than a woman (Disco/R&B) One of the best love songs ever made! Love you inside out (Funk/pop), went to #1 To love somebody (R&B) One of their earlier hits, from 1967!!! You’ll see how young they were. Massachusetts (pop/country), went to #1 Wind of Change (funk/r&b), live 1975 from the Midnight Special or live from their 1979 Spirits tour. They sing in their natural voices on this song. Alone (pop): One of the songs they made late in their career. Love So Right (R&B), One of Barry’s best falsetto songs ever. Words (pop, 1979 Spirits Tour). Barry pours his heart out on this song and they show his wife & son on screen some while he was performing it. Lonely Days (pop). One of the first songs they wrote after they got back together when they briefly broke up in 1969 then got back together in 1970 to write this. You Win Again (pop), If you want to hear some 80’s Bee Gees, this is a good one. Went #1 in the UK Run to Me (pop) How Can you mend a broken heart (R&B). The other song they wrote when they first got back together after a brief breakup. It was also their first #1 in the US Kiss of Life (rock). Shows a diverse side of them. One (pop), their last top 10 hit in the US Wedding Day (pop), a single they wrote for their wives! All of them had been married for a while. Barry is will married to this day to Linda for over 53 years! Rest Your Love on Me Awhile (country). Shows diversity! Bodyguard (R&B), Robb really shines on this song that could have been played on any R&B radio station! For Whom the Bell Tolls (pop), again, Robin shines on this one. Blue Island - live (pop). This song shows the perfect blend & harmony the brothers have. Especially if you do the acoustic one. Just the 3 of them with 2 guitars! Our Love, Don't Throw it all away-Bee Gee's or Andy's version (pop). After their brother Andy passed, they started performing this during shows in honor of him. Secret Love (pop). I love the best to this song! Barry & Robin leads. This is Where I Came in (live) (pop). From the very last CD they ever released. There is a live version out there from a tv show. That's a great one to see how they have evolved into the 2000's! The 1989 One for all tour medley (excellent vocals & some humor). This is a little long (over 12 min), but they go through about 7-9 songs in this medley with just the 3 of them around 1 mic either Barry in the guitar.
This brings tears to my eyes. I’m 76, honestly those were the days. Great live music, just everywhere. What a blessing. We were introduced to black music from the States, it influenced our music so much here. Resulted in great home grown bands. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
Bee gees stands for, Brothers Gibb. Barry in the middle is the oldest, on the right is Maurice, left is Robin, they are twins. They had a younger brother, Andy, he passed from a drug overdose. 2024, Barry is the only one left, Barry has been married to his wife Linda for over 50 years.
Im 57. I remember Barry having those teeth back when he was singing as a teenager. I am old school but there is no group that can harmonize like the Bee Gees. Absolutely Angelic.
DUDE! The BeeGees r so iconic, legendary and everything good u can imagine! Mr. Dangerous IS dangerous but only in our dreams. He’s a faithful, loyal husband to the same woman for decades. I LOVE THEM! Imagine being a teenager when they exploded onto the scene in the 70’s! Those were the best of times especially with all the best music ever as the soundtrack to all of our lives. God I miss those days💜✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 Btw you’re as cute as u can be and I love your reaction!
That's his original teeth and he's been married to one woman for decades. He the only brother of the Bee Gees still alive. What was in mom's milk to make 3 brothers like that?
They’re not his original teeth. If you see vids of the brothers when they first started out, you can see they’ve all had a lot of dental work. Barry was given teeth that I think are a bit too big …. But he’s gorgeous anyway
Also…they wrote all their own songs as well as hits for other major artists! Please do other songs recorded by other artists that The Bee Gees wrote. Some include: If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman) -- went to #1 Woman in Love ( Barbra Streisand)- went to #1!. In fact, The Bee Gees wrote every song on her Guilty CD, and Barry did 2 duets with her. And he did most of the background vocals on a lot of the songs. They won a Grammy for best song by a group or duo for Guilty. Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers & Dolly Partons) - went to #1. In fact, The Bee Gees wrote all the songs on Kenny's "Eyes that See in the Dark" CD with Barry doing a lot of background vocals. Heartbreaker (Deion Warwick). In fact, The Bee Gees wrote every song on this CD too. This was her best selling CD! The Bee Gees also did the Background vocals. Chain Reaction (Diana Ross) - went to #1 in several European countries! And yes, The Bee Gees wrote all the songs on this CD too. Barry also did the background vocals. Immortality (Celine Dion) The Bee Gees (went to number 1 in several countries),also sung background. The live 1997 from Vegas is excellent! More Than a Woman (Tavares) Love Me (Yvonne Elliman) Come on Over (Olivia Newton John) Emotions (Samantha Sang, with a lot of background vocals with Barry). Destiny's Child also recorded it. Grease--from the movie (Frankie Valli), went #1 Heart Beating in Time (Leo Sayer) Let me wake up in your arms (Lulu), who use to be married to Maurice Gibb A lot of Andy Gibb songs (Shadow Dancing, Everlasting Love, Love is Thicker than Water, Our Love, Don't Throw It Away; Desire;). Andy's 3 released solo songs all went to #1!
The is also I Cannot Give You My Love with Cliff Richard. Lovers and Friends with Ronan Keating Only One Woman with The Marbles Then there is Barry's collaboration with The Gatlin Brothers and Roy Orbinson on the song "Indian Summer" There is also all their solo careers, where Robin has most published. Barry did make a collaboration album with many of todays Country Stars called Greenfields in 2021 at the age of 74. The album consists of Bee Gees written songs rerecorded as duets between Barry and the above mentioned artists. Maurice sadly died in 2003 and Robin in 2012. So only Barry is left.
They were brothers, Barry Gibb in the middle, and his fraternal twin brothers Robin on the left, and Maurice on the right. Yes, the ladies loved Barry, though he was happily married, has been since 1970, and still is to the same woman. I Liked your reaction. This song was a hit in the summer of 1979, and the Bee Gees were THEEEE biggest thing in music that year. Sadly, shortly after that they suffered radio burn out and a pretty serious back lash. It took them a little while to rebound world wide, and they never really got back to the popularity they had here in the US, though a decade later, 1989, they did hit the top 10 one more time with the song One. EDIT - I don't think his teeth were veneers back then. I think he has them now, but he's 78 years old now. But yeah, in 1979, he was all that and a side of fries (I think he still is).
Love robin gibb... The one with no beard. ❤ So handsome and sung hauntingly beautiful. Try i started a joke... Tragedy... Nights on broadway or fanny be tender with my love.
Barry Gibb (Sir Barry Gibb) received the 2023 Kennedy Center honors for lifetime achievement in the arts. He is of British-Australian heritage but has lived in Miami Florida for many years.
He is one of my fellow Manxman born on the Isle of Man. The whole family moved to Manchester and then to Australia, where they became popular. They went to record in the USA and blew up!!!
I viewed the program, where Sir Barry was the final honoree. This was fine by me, as it was clear that everyone was wanted to see him. Therefore, we ended up watching the whole program, given that his moment of honor was unpredictable. That was good planning on the producers' part - they saved the best for last.
Ah the Bee Gees made some of the most beautiful music, that is still unparalleled today. Breathy beautiful romantic and they wrote all of their own songs. They even wrote several hits for other artists as well. I was blessed to grow up with their music. So dang talented.
Beautiful video, but not a live performance. This is the result of hours in the studio resulting in nearly 30 tracks (not all of which were used). If you listen carefully you can hear a supporting, non-falsetto mix at "normal" pitch adding body to the final product. But they could, and did, perform the song flawlessly in concert.
Loving the reactions to these amazing classics i was lucky enough to be a part of the best music 70’s,80’s and 90’s thats was REAL music! Bee Gees were icon’s 😊
The lead singer is Barry. Robin, longer hair. Maurice, the other brother. They also had a younger brother Andy Gibb, who passed away at an early age. I had the biggest crush on him. He had some very nice songs also. When music was music. ❤
The Bee Gees were brothers that made amazing harmonies and songs that hit us all…pre-disco, through disco and post-disco, too! Great composers of hundreds of songs for other artists, too.
The Bee Gees DOMINATED the Disco era with #1 after #1 hit. Their songs got so much play on the radio that there came a time that people got sick of them and then they started to write #1 hits for OTHER ARTISTS! That's how talented they were!
I was a small boy when I first heard this song on the radio. Love multiple genres of music, so check out Liv Warfield. AGT is a good one and the Letterman show are some of her best. Prince mentored her for almost 6 years before he passed on.
Actually, Robin needed and had much dental work but who cares he can sing, write songs and sang lead on their first no 1 Mass. Barry has always said that singing beautifully came naturally to Robin! Interesting that their voices blended so well yet we’re so different when singing solo.
Born in England, the Isle of Man to be exact, migrated to Australia, Sydney when they were very young. I remember seeing them in the pubs before they had a big name, lovely group of guys, Barry the one in the middle is the only one still alive, he lives in Miami Florida now Barry is now 77
They are one of the most Legendary groups of all times, and Mr. Dangerous, is the only brother who is still "Stayin ´alive " but the music they made , will be forever.
They are brothers. Barry, in the middle is the oldest. His twin brothers are on each side Robin on the left & Morris on the right. They have been performing hit songs since the 1940s. He’s been with the same woman for many many many many years, however, he used to carry rings in his pocket so he could ask a girl if she’d marry him so that he could get laid lol . And those are his real teeth. Barry is still living, while Robin and Morris have already passed away. They had a younger brother named Andy who was a famous singer in the 1970’s & early 80’s. Andy passed away in his early 30s due to alcohol and drug abuse. A rock ‘n’ roll station in Atlanta Georgia decided to have a weekend with no Bee Gees record playing, and they also had a bonfire at a baseball stadium where people threw Bee Gees cassettes into a fire. This was because a lot of people couldn’t stand their “Disco” sound that really shot them to massive fame, due to the movie Saturday Night Fever in 1977, which starred John Travolta. The Bee Gees are amazing, not only have they had success in their singing. They wrote music for some of the music industry, including Beyoncé, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, Otis Redding and many many more You should Google them or watch a biography on RUclips about them.
Back in the days he did had some romantic getaways (in an interview he admitted that too), but he always stayed with his wife (and she with him). Those wild days are long gone 🙂

The BeeGees were everything to us in high school. I miss them, glad their music lives on.
I am 64 and grew up listening to The Bee Gees and I still love The Bee Gees!! Beautiful voices, words you can understand and pure talent!
I’m 61 and couldn’t Agree more. Extremely talented family. Barry was always as we would say “to die for”!😂❤ I also liked when Robin sang Nights on Broadway.
Nephew the three are brothers. The two on both ends are twins. This African American grandma 63 listen to them on a regular basis 🖤🖤🖤
I am a 69-year-old African American glam-mom. I listen to them quite often as well.
I ❤ you BOTH!😂

This is one of the best reactions I've heard on this song. I've listened to at least 200 reactions on this song. I'm a 68 year old male. I grew up on this song. It's my favorite song of all time. I was a DJ and this this song came out it changed my life. The two outside bros are twins. All three pros have a great history. Again your reaction was great. A sense of humor is very important.
We did not have veneers in the 70’s!😂😂😂😂 Great reaction!
Amen!!❤
I'll be 56 in October and my mom introduced me to the Bee Gees long before they had some songs in a movie about disco. I love me some 60's-early 70's Bee Gees on a long road trip; nothing but me, my car Blubaru, and the Brothers Gibb.❤
AMEN!!🙂🙂
The Brothers Gibbs are Legendary! Their falsetto harmonies are Iconic and defined an Era!😊😊😊😊
Gibb
Remember, his brothers were singing pitch perfect harmony - also in falsetto. All 3 made it look dead easy. Oh this was in the late 70's. The clothing gives it away if nothing else does. Dressed perfect for the time
What you are experiencing is pure perfection !! The Bee Gees were amazing ! They harmonized so well that it sounds like one person
No beatbox needed, pure talent, emotions and talent. they are legends that shaped music

That figure is for just Barry, but three are probably not far behind. It is the same figure as Paul McCartney.
Amazing how 3 brothers have such beautiful voices and also Andy Gibb such a talented family
I am 53 and i am still getting goosebumps for this song, so i remember this song from about 10 years old
best reaction of all the reactions of 10 years of reactions 😂🤣 3 brothers and the 'handsome' guy is the writer !
The more you learn about those brothers, the more you realize all of them could sing. No one will ever sound like the Bee Gees.
He wouldn't be trying to take your girl. Married to the same woman for decades.
….. Bee Gees took all of the Grammy’s 🏆 in the 70’s.
They won five Grammy Awards for 'Saturday Night Fever' including Album of the Year. They won 5 awards out of the 9 nominations.
And that without tweeks...all natural voice.
Not true. This song had their voices sampled 27 times.

falsetto low harmony three times
Barry on natural voice lead three times
high harmony three times
low harmony three times
Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times
high harmony three times

@Devonte Warner
They are brothers (The Brothers Gibb).
Here’s a list with my interpretation of what genre I think they fall under:
Too Much Heaven (R&B) Went to #1
How Deep Is Your Love (R&B Ballard), went to #1
Staying Alive (disco), went to #1
Night Fever (disco), went to #1
You Should Be Dancing (R&B or disco), went to #1
Fanny be tender with my love (R&B). Quincy Jones said this was his favorite R&B song. It’s a favorite of mine too.
Jive Talking (R&B), went to #1
Nights on Broadway (R&B/Funk)..you’ll hear the brothers “natural” voices in this song.
Tragedy (Techno? Pop) It also went #1
More than a woman (Disco/R&B) One of the best love songs ever made!
Love you inside out (Funk/pop), went to #1
To love somebody (R&B) One of their earlier hits, from 1967!!! You’ll see how young they were.
Massachusetts (pop/country), went to #1
Wind of Change (funk/r&b), live 1975 from the Midnight Special or live from their 1979 Spirits tour.
Went #1 in the UK
Run to Me (pop)
How Can you mend a broken heart (R&B). The other song they wrote when they first got back together after a brief breakup. It was also their first #1 in the US
Kiss of Life (rock). Shows a diverse side of them.
One (pop), their last top 10 hit in the US
Wedding Day (pop), a single they wrote for their wives!
FACTS.
The one song I would add to your fantastic list is Man in the middle. With Maurice singing lead.
There's another classic lesser known song called ' Spirits Havin Flowen'.check it out.
Great information on the Bee Gee recordings.
Brothers Gibb is just one of several references they used to come up with their name.
This brings tears to my eyes. I’m 76, honestly those were the days. Great live music, just everywhere. What a blessing. We were introduced to black music from the States, it influenced our music so much here. Resulted in great home grown bands. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
Their 3 part harmonies are absolute perfection.

Please do other songs recorded by other artists that The Bee Gees wrote. Some include:
If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman) -- went to #1
Woman in Love ( Barbra Streisand)- went to #1!.

European countries! And yes, The Bee Gees wrote all the songs on this CD too. Barry also did the background vocals.
Immortality (Celine Dion) The Bee Gees (went to number 1 in several countries),also sung background. The live 1997 from Vegas is excellent!
More Than a Woman (Tavares)
Love Me (Yvonne Elliman)
Come on Over (Olivia Newton John)
Emotions (Samantha Sang, with a lot of background vocals with Barry). Destiny's Child also recorded it.
Grease--from the movie (Frankie Valli), went #1
Heart Beating in Time (Leo Sayer)
Let me wake up in your arms (Lulu), who use to be married to Maurice Gibb
A lot of Andy Gibb songs (Shadow Dancing, Everlasting Love, Love is Thicker than Water, Our Love, Don't Throw It Away; Desire;). Andy's 3 released solo songs all went to #1!
The is also
I Cannot Give You My Love with Cliff Richard.
Lovers and Friends with Ronan Keating
Only One Woman with The Marbles
Then there is Barry's collaboration with The Gatlin Brothers and Roy Orbinson on the song "Indian Summer"
There is also all their solo careers, where Robin has most published.

Oh welcome to the world of The Gibb brothers! The most talented delightful group I've ever heard. Been s fan of them since 1978
Barry Gibb (Sir Barry Gibb) received the 2023 Kennedy Center honors for lifetime achievement in the arts.
This is a live performance, no synth, just pure talent
Yessir ❤ The Homie is Sir Barry Gibb, he’s been on lock with his wife for 50+ years, so yeah 👍🏻, he’s slaying it love 😂❤❤

Barry was beautiful all around!
Prince mentored her for almost 6 years before he passed on.
... 3 brothers ... real teeth!!!

They wrote music for some of the music industry, including Beyoncé, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, Otis Redding and many many more
You should Google them or watch a biography on RUclips about them.
No you're wrong, Barry only looked gorgeous in his appearance only ,he was talented and only royal to his beloved pretty wife.no other ladies 😊❤❤
