You’ve become my favorite nature, bushcraft, relaxing channel. It’s come to the point that I’ve acquired a little tradition of pouring myself a dram of Jamison, kick my shoes off, cozy up with my puppy (Popsicle) and enjoy your videos. Keep up the great content, I love your channel.
Tom, your channel became a window from my place to wherever you camp. It is a way of relaxing watching you camp with minimal equipment you do have a quality life in the middle of nature. Each time, I learn something from you. I really enjoyed watching you preparing your meal on that little stove cooking delicious meals. I do admire how organized you are. Again, Thank you for sharing your experiences in the wild.
The ring and the tripod are good ideas Tom. I have a small wood stove like that I want to try out. I'm 66 and young at heart. I'm glad the cooler weather is coming here in Virginia. My mother was born in Skuppum, Norway, but I haven't been there. I also put a little bourbon in my coffee occasionally.
That’s great Alan 👍🏻😁 thank you so much for your feedback and for sharing your story with me. I’m glad you like my videos and grateful that you join me on my hikes. Stay safe my Viking brother 🏕🔥🦌🌲🇩🇰 Tom
Very clever tripod solution. It’s like a very simple tee-pee design. That’s a lovely wood too. This time I came prepared and made a bacon and egg sandwich before I watched so I would not be left hungry after your video, 😊 Cheers, Tom.
Hi Tom, you know, one of the reasons I enjoy your videos is, you keep it simple and interesting. That to me is what camping is all about and I will never grow tired of watching you. Thanks
I really appreciate your videos and style. I've spent many years in the bush and never knew how to make it special. Your artistic approach makes all the difference. My family is Danish but I was born in the USA and have never visited Denmark but am active in the Scandinavian community. Thanks Tom.

You have the coolest backpack and gear. It's art, and function, the perfect blend. Having made so much of it yourself lends great meaning, and credit. I've decided to name my 17' canoe.. " Port-Fleet". After the great Scottish oil painter. I've learned much from him as an artist. Although he spells his name, Portfliet... maybe I'll use his proper spelling. I'm thinking. Thank you again for another peaceful and colorful bush adventure Tom.
Thank you so much my friend for your kind and positive feedback 😁👍🏻 I’m glad you like my videos and grateful that you are following me on my adventures. Awesome name for your canoe 🛶 👌🏻😃 Atb 2U🏕 Tom
That sandwich made me hungry! I like the idea of using the steel ring and pre-measured paracord . It makes set up much faster and easier! Thanks for another great video Tom!
Excellent video of a tripod tent setup, and cooking a nice breakfast sandwich, with coffee. I like all your nice antler made gear, and leather pouches. It is very relaxing watching your video’s seeing you relaxing in the great out doors. Love your channel, that’s how I have my coffee on Christmas day.
Hello Tom .what an authentic video.this is how it should be outdoors. very good .i do something like that every weekend with my wife and my dogs. this is pure life.greetings go to you my friend.
It's 1:45 a.m. right now and I needed something to watch and listen to as I wind down for the night, as daylight soon approaches. This is a delightfully relaxing video from start to finish. Nothing like cooking up some delicious eggs🥚and bacon 🥓 for a sandwich 🥪 to enjoy in the peace and quiet of nature's wilderness. And to top it off with a nice hot cup of coffee ☕. Love it. It's just not a Tom video until there's been "a tip, a sip, and a wink". Of course, a nice bowl of favorite tobacco usually makes an appearance too. Good to see you out my friend, and in such a beautiful spot too! You and I came up with almost identical methods for measuring out the components and spread of a tripod for the lavvu. The only real difference is the paracord I use for the pole length is a bit longer than yours. I tied a knot at the ideal length for an interior tripod, but made the overall length the minimum pole length necessary for an external tripod set as well. Be well and thank you for the time, thought and efforts you put into your excellent videos.

It looks like the weather is changing there in Denmark, won't be long before you'll need outer wear to stay warm. But the bugs will be gone and the fire will feel that much better 😁 Nature and solitude along with a magic forest, perfect😎 See you in the next one my friend. Enjoy!

Hi Tom. Thank you for your wonderful video. It really helped after my terrible day. I like the ring idea around the poles. That would save a ton of time
The sound of the wind in the trees of the Magic Forest is delightful and restful...and your use of a ring to bring together a tripod at the top is a great idea! Thanks. And all the best to you...be safe.

Nice idea Tom the way you did the poles. You are one well oiled machine. LOL. You have everything down to a science. Experience is a big factor I'm sure. Learn as you go. Man you made me so hungry watching you make the bacon and egg sandwich. The coffee makes everything taste better, the whiskey helps also. LOL. Thanks for the double wink in this video. It may sound silly but everytime you do it I have to laugh. Thanks for another great video my friend. Stay healthy, stay safe, and take care. Skol....

That ring idea is spot on! An antique brass or bronze or patenia coated copper one would fit in better , perhaps , with your " old school theme "of your regalia n pack set up!!?? Nice time in the " enchanted glen?!!" Thanks for sharing! GWW... Ooouuuttt!!!
Yeahhh that’s right brother 💪🏻😉 just haven’t been able to find one made from brass 😫 still hoping 🙏🏻😇 ha ha Thanks for spending some time together with me my friend 🏕🔥🦌🍻 Tom
I use a large cow hide as a ground sheet. It's comfortable, adds extra warmth and is sympathetic to the surroundings. I will try this method of erecting a Lavvu, thank you.
Very enjoyable, tranquil, and beautiful forest. Thank you for sharing your tripod setup. I happen to have rings, and now I to will use the setup. Take care friend..
Hi Tom, I like the tripod setup. I had seen the ring to hold the tripod but not the paracord hack, very clever. I hope you didn't burn yourself on the frying pan lanyard. Take care brother Tom.
Thank you for the enjoyable camp. It was so relaxing I fell asleep after the sandwich. Almost an hour and a half nap. LOL. like the sneaky little second wink. Beautiful forest
In northern Pennsylvania I've seen people heat a large, gutted coffee pot of water to a boil, while separately in the meantime mix the allotted coffee in a bowl with an egg, shell and all. Then dump the coffee and egg mixture into the boiling pot of water .. The egg and crushed egg shell cooks and binds the coffee together in the bottom of the pot and thus, no coffee grounds get poured.
Ok 🤔 never heard that before But I guess it could help 😉 but I actually don’t have any problems with coffee grains in my coffee … only the bottom part you have to be carful not to drink 👍🏻😁 Thanks for your feedback and suggestion 🏕🔥 Tom
Interesting set up with the Lavvu, i just got back from a camping trip with mine .... i haven't used a tripod with it, but i do carry a piece of rope and a tennis ball, so i can hang it from a branch. I cut a hole in the tennis ball and if using it with a center pole on soft ground i use it to stop the pole sinking (i camp a lot on sand along the coast)
Thank you so much Rajeshwer for coming along again 👍🏻😁 I’m glad you like my new video and thanks for your greeting … I’m proud to be a ambassador for that great company 🏕🔥 Tom

A rope shackle instead of a metal ring could be another good way to form the tripod.
Yeah that’s a great suggestion and perhaps easier to make ore find. Thanks for your suggestion

Nice time in the
" enchanted glen?!!"
Thanks for sharing!
GWW... Ooouuuttt!!!
Yeahhh that’s right brother 💪🏻😉 just haven’t been able to find one made from brass 😫 still hoping 🙏🏻😇 ha ha Thanks for spending some time together with me my friend 🏕🔥🦌🍻

You are a cool guy, thanks for the videos friend.
I use a large cow hide as a ground sheet. It's comfortable, adds extra warmth and is sympathetic to the surroundings. I will try this method of erecting a Lavvu, thank you.
That’s great Oliver 😉👍🏻🏕🔥
That sandwich sure looked good Tom. Hope all is well and happy piping brother.

Great Tom as usual, thanks for sharing 👍
Your welcome Mick 😉👍🏻 and happy to see you again. Atb to you brother 🏕🔥🌲🦌 Tom
Ok 🤔 never heard that before
But I guess it could help 😉 but I actually don’t have any problems with coffee grains in my coffee … only the bottom part you have to be carful not to drink 👍🏻😁 Thanks for your feedback and suggestion 🏕🔥
Tom
Great show great content,Your style really captivates me. I shall look forward to the next video. Salute from the states, Florida

See you soon again bro 🏕🔥
Tom
Interesting set up with the Lavvu, i just got back from a camping trip with mine .... i haven't used a tripod with it, but i do carry a piece of rope and a tennis ball, so i can hang it from a branch. I cut a hole in the tennis ball and if using it with a center pole on soft ground i use it to stop the pole sinking (i camp a lot on sand along the coast)
That’s a great idea Neil 👍🏻😊
Nice to hear that you have been camping and hope you had a great trip 🏕🔥🌲🦌 Thanks for joining me again 🤗 Tom
