Tom, I loved this one, especially now that I have made the coffee and the flat bread, I have gotten my fire anchor set like you cook on, my little cauldron too! I am also learning my little firebox and what it can do! (My Dad loves the flat bread!) I am carving a little S shaped Dragon 🐉 for my son. I wish I could cook for him like this, but he lives far away. I will send you a picture of the Dragon when it is done! Thank you for such inspiring videos!

I must say - such an inspiration 🙂 Up here we still have lots of snow in the woods. Was out yesterday, and the snow was so deep and slushy at my favourite place that I couldn't even get anyway near it 😂 So today I'l just stay inside to finish my leather drinking bottle - my beeswax arrived today 🙂 Have a nice weekend 💕

Hello Tom a different kind of nice day for a hike in the wilderness. In may ways I prefer whether like this to sunny and warm. These shelters are bomb proof, love the construction and they look like the perfect place to hunker down in bad weather. Fire, food, friendship is a perfect way to adventure in a storm. The mead, beer and signature coffee😉😉 put the finishing touch on a great outing. You guys know how to do it the Viking way, nothing fancy just smart and practical. Lovely! I was out in the forest in western PA with a son-in-law last week in a hot tent (7 degrees Fahrenheit, -14C), extending the hiking season into the winter. So happy to see you out in the winter, and your health seems very good, which makes me happy. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, and blessings to you through the rest of the year!

Modern life has taken the sense of achievement from us I think, For an animal to harness fire, tools and knowledge just to have that little round of hot cooked bread is amazing, and Gods, there is nothing that doesn't taste better cooked on a fire imo.

Hello Tom a different kind of nice day for a hike in the wilderness. In may ways I prefer whether like this to sunny and warm. These shelters are bomb proof, love the construction and they look like the perfect place to hunker down in bad weather. Fire, food, friendship is a perfect way to adventure in a storm. The mead, beer and signature coffee😉😉 put the finishing touch on a great outing. You guys know how to do it the Viking way, nothing fancy just smart and practical. Lovely! I was out in the forest in western PA with a son-in-law last week in a hot tent (7 degrees Fahrenheit, -14C), extending the hiking season into the winter. Modern life has taken the sense of achievement from us I think,
For an animal to harness fire, tools and knowledge just to have that little round of hot cooked bread is amazing, and Gods, there is nothing that doesn't taste better cooked on a fire imo.
