Love that that their chickens are treated so well. I’m an animal activist so this means a lot to me. Such happy chickens! I do have to say these are by far the best eggs I have ever purchased. Compared to other so called free range chicken, this win hands up. I’ll never by from another farm again. Try them. You’ll see the difference too.
I literally never “bought” the hype about pasture raised eggs. I grew up on the cheapest at the store and that’s what I always bought for myself. Then my girlfriend moved in this year and she started bringing home these magical eggs that flipped everything I’ve known about eggs upside down. It’s obvious to the naked eye how much better the quality of the egg is the second you break the shell. Then you taste it and it’s a whole level beyond the cheap caged eggs we all know. Vital Farms is our go to now and the next best thing aside from locally sourced pasture eggs. 🍳 🐓
I try not to go to Starbucks for coffee and save the money to buy pasture raised eggs in New York City, I pay $7.99 for pasture raised eggs and eat 2-3 eggs everyday for almost 10 years. Spent a little more money on food that matter..
And it is so much better for your health. It has less omega-6 and more omega-3s. It has better nutrients in general. I am so proud of you for doing this. Yes definitely go cheaper on the coffee and invest more in great nutrition like pasture raised eggs. And wow it is so much more ethical too. I actually am just switching now permanently to the pasture raised eggs.
I come from a small chicken farm. We got chickens for their egg colors, even if they weren't the best layers. I immediately recognized the Maran eggs when we bought ours. Very happy to see a producer that uses different chicken breeds that aren't common.
If only all companies cared about quality more than pulling every last cent possible. Love they use sustainable methods for the land as well. All land should be regeneratively managed.
This is awesome! I have seen so many horrific things in the egg industry. Its nice to see this. However I worry. Do these hens lay a natural amount of eggs per year? If not, what do they do about the birds that developed osteoporosis or get eggs trapped inside them? What happens to the males that are hatched when trying to get more hens?
I eat 10-12 raw eggs per day and Vital Farms are by far the best. I keep trying alternatives at Whole Foods that are organic and pastured but the yolk is always bright yellow. Vital Farms has the best deep and rich yellow colored yolk that is full of nutrition. I do prefer the local farmers market where I see the chickens from the road but it’s not always convenient. So happy this is so easily available. It’s gotten a bit pricey lately but still well worth it! For anyone wondering about the raw egg comment, it’s perfectly safe for pastured eggs. Just stir it up and it’s the most amazing post workout shake you can get!
I've learned raising chickens that the diet of your birds is what makes the egg. It's all the nutrition from greenery and bugs in the chickens diet that make this sort of egg special. The chickens are happier too
I thought it was hype like the free range where most of the chickens never leave the coop and don't even know their is a small opening at one end of the coop. However, I tried them, even though they were 3 times the price before the increase in egg prices. I never went back. These eggs are tasty and as egg prices rise, the prices haven't risen for Vital farms' egg much if at all. The yoke is a beautiful orange. The taste is delicious! I tried another brand that was better than factory raised eggs, but were not as tasty. Don't be fooled by the color of the yoke in other brands as now the factory eggs are adding something in the food that give the orange color, but doesn't improve their taste. Highly recommend Vital Eggs and you can eat less because you are savoring the taste instead of gulping them down.
A little bit of sweet onion minced caramelized in olive oil with a sprinkle “Lawry’s seasoning salt” Add two scrambled eggs and Walla a “really delicious” breakfast, lunch, or dinner with toast. Enjoy’
What about the milk you use for your butter...? Are the cows truly pasture raised? I am trying the best I can to be a conscientious consumer and would like to have a butter source knowing that I am not contributing to the conditions and cruelty of mass production facilities. I pray your company truly is living up to what you are advertising.
I do pray that it is what they said and what they show because I am so against animal cruelty and I buy two boxes weekly and pay a lot of money for these eggs.
Vital Farm eggs is ranked in the above excellent category. Vital Fams and Sprouts brand of pasture raised eggs is the best. Sprouts brand is the only brand with a darker yolk that I've seen
I have always bought Nellies eggs but Hannaford grocery now sells vital eggs and I bought them because they were out of Nellies. I feel confident feeding my family either....but for how long? Are you inoculating the chickens yet and if not will you be in the future? Would be interested to know. You have a happy looking farm.😀💝
eggs we bought from vital farms were all even in shapes. Means something is giving to chicken to lay same size of eggs. While real organic eggs are never in same size and shape. I doubt strongly that is organic. Also different in taste vs organic
Honestly, chickens will die. We all die. BUT it’s very VERY important (at least to me) that before animals die, we treat them with love and respect, while valuing their purpose.
I love the Vital Farm eggs. The commercial eggs are fed a diet of soy and corn. Pasture raised eggs rom free eating grass, bugs. The yolk is darker in color, and has a stronger amount of vitamins and minerals. Not to mention they taste better I tried the Whole Foods new ones but, they are not organic and don’t taste as good as the Vital Farms organic pasture raised eggs.
Pasture Raised means that birds were RAISED ON FRESH PASTURE. This model gives birds "access to the outdoors". Go back to the video and watch closely. Big difference between the b-roll marketing footage and the real production. This is coming from a truly pasture raised chicken farm.
Where can you buy these eggs in New York? These chickens are so cute and happy - don't want to buy eggs that are from chickens that are caged - so sad!
You see this and then ask yourself, how are the other chicken and eggs raised/processed? It's like reading a package for beef stating vegetarian feed! What else do cows eat?🤔
Lately I’m finding that these egg yokes are yellow not orange, that tells me that the chickens are being fed feed not running free in the pasture. Chickens are carnivores not vegetarian, when chickens eat bugs and worms that’s what makes orange, so I’m paying a high price for junk eggs. I wouldn’t recommend buying these eggs
I recently purchased two dozen Vital eggs for $6 each since it's Pasture eggs. To my surprise the first dozen eggs all have yellow egg yolks. I was expecting darker color yolk. I am wondering if I got ripped off. Maybe someone switch the eggs. I will try the second dozen and see. So far, Nellie's free range is my favorite choice. It cost less and the yolks are actually orange color or dark yellow. When you see something that's all the same color from one egg to another, I get suspicious. I used to purchase cheap organic eggs and didn't know the difference until one day when I cracked open three eggs from a carton and they all have double yolks. After some research, I found that organic does not mean free range or no growth hormones. I will update this post when I try the second carton or buy try Vital from another supermarket. Hope Vital don't let me down.
These egg yolks have been looking plenty pale lately, and I wonder what's up with that? For that price -- I don't want pale eggs. And I don't want to buy "pretend" pasture-raised eggs!
More people need to buy pasture raised eggs because when there is more demand I think the price will come down. I’m lucky because this week I can buy them at my grocery store for $4 a dozen but not everyone is that lucky. If you’re concerned about the price then you should still buy these eggs, either buy them half the time or buy them all the time and just eat less eggs.
I buy these in in Idaho. I love that the yolks are bright orangy yellows. I appreciate a company that cares full circle.
Paula Johnson what store did you got it
I buy these in the Seattle region. Yolks are orangey, whites are not runny, and they taste AMAZING!
I always wanted to try orangey yolks and thought only Japan has these high quality eggs. Now that you said it, I am gonna give these a try.

It goes beyond taste too, pasture raised have more omega3 and vitamin D
@@travistarp7466 It's also far more humane and ethnical, you know the chicken who made that egg is living a good life and is happy.
glad you've come over to the bright side!
Flipped, huh? Sound to me like you went over easy.
@@OhPervyOneGlad someone said it! 😂

Psst Starbucks? Same here. I'm not paying for luxury coffee when you can buy the same brand coffee n make it at home.
Is been a whole year without Starbucks for me
same!

@@2Anonymous42Lidl has organic whole bean coffee thats around $7.50 a pound, and really quite tasty 😊
I’m going to start buying now. Gives me comfort to know they are treated much more humanely
It really does
Bless you guys for what you do. This is so huge and will always be needed.
Thank you for taking on the big machine companies thank you for looking out for our well being with real and healthy fed food
Pricey but worth it! They have bright orange yolks and taste delicious

I really don't mind paying 12 dollars a carton of VF eggs. It's the quality! And my health that matters!🙌🥚🥚🥚🙌
I love Vital Farms eggs. Their egg yolks are a much deeper yellow than other store-bought eggs, so you know it's good! 🥚👍
I feel better buying from this company I'm sharing this video with everyone I know
I've been eating the Happy eggs, but I'm definitely going to try these next time. It seems like these are the most humanely treated
same i tried happy eggs recently and after doing research the pasture-raised eggs seem better all around.
If only all companies cared about quality more than pulling every last cent possible. Love they use sustainable methods for the land as well. All land should be regeneratively managed.
THANK YOU Matt O'Hayer for what you're doing. I can only imagine the pressures you face by going against the mainstream egg industry.
I'm going to support this company and start buying these eggs knowing that they treat their animals humanely. This is how farming should be done!
Love these eggs. What a difference in quality. Thanks for your eggs.
Amazing presentation of raising natural eggs.

If not, what do they do about the birds that developed osteoporosis or get eggs trapped inside them? What happens to the males that are hatched when trying to get more hens?
The male chicks are culled, sadly.
There’s a huge market for quality eggs, and beef. More people need to start quality farms I’ll be buying!

12?! 😮 you know eggs feed any virus you may have in your body right? Active or asleep viruses.
Thank you Vital Farms 🙂🥚
Best eggs I've ever tasted
Love the Vital Farms brand!
Pasture raised eggs have more Omega 3 which helps with inflammation issues.
Buy these from Walmart here in Chicago. Hugeeeee difference in color and taste than the 98c extra large eggs I used to buy my whole life.
yolks taste so much more creamy
If you can find a local farmer, they are best. better than any pastured raised at any store. And cheaper.

I buy them all the time the eggs are so delicious : )
Until I get my chicken coop up and running, I will continue buying Vital Farms‼️👍🥚
Their yolks are reddish-orange
I LOVE these eggs!!
Best most consistent egg I’ve ever bought
I’d rather pay double for high quality eggs than garbage low quality eggs
bro it's not double it's quadruple. you willing to pay quadruple for your high quality eggs.
not being a farmer i thank you guys i can go and get good eggs on the stores
I ONLY buy Vital farm Pasture raised eggs. They’re literally the best tasting eggs and they’re healthier for you.
Love this company! Only eggs I buy now!
Oh, look at those girls!

Most orange yolk the best!
Love this!!!!
Best EGGS on planet earth, when the bird is treated well, they are 😊 happy, that translates to great eggs
great tasting eggs! been on board sunce early days. They are expensive but worth it. Walmart has lowest price!

They are fed GMO grains mostly. Unless you buy the organic Pasture raised Vital eggs
Does anyone know what is the name of the variety of chicken this is
When I start an egg farm in South Africa this is how we will do it...
i can taste the difference
But what happens to these chickens in the end???
Grilled chicken... Nah, I'm just messing with ya :)

I love their eggs!
Sk what about the hens that are broody? Do they steal eggs from them or do they leave them alone? I need to know

So the chickens live humane lives and are treated well ? Does the pasture raised egg industry kill the male chicks ?
Why not bring the prices down not feed to buy for pasture hens
Can we buy these eggs in Vancouver , British Columbia?
Check out Whole Foods near you, they should carry it.
Where can you buy these eggs in New York? These chickens are so cute and happy - don't want to buy eggs that are from chickens that are caged - so sad!
Shoprite sells them!
Probably whole foods since it has their name in the title of the vid.
The only eggs I will eat. Its the best!!
Have PETA investigate
I either buy vitals for pasture raised or egglands for omega 3!!!
if u love your chicken,it will give u lot of eggs. = ) thats conclusion i got from this video.

These eggs are hands-down the best eggs way better than Nellie's. Forget the color of the yolk and taste the miracle from vital Farms.
Andrew 82 Nellies was caught by PETA. I’m upset.
They also get to eat bugs as a chicken should!
GOD BLESS YOU!
I don’t eat animals but eat this eggs, thanks now l feel better seeing this ,eggs is my favorite food.
All I can say is it's one heck of an egg!
How are governments in developed countrys Not shutting down any other method that isnt pasture

Great farm great 🍳
Yes sir I love this company you have great eggs but RUclips is trying to say an egg is an egg and that's not so
If everyone ate pasture eggs local natural beef and water obesity would drop in a year
1 dozen cost $6 .... 5 dozens of regular eggs cost $5.... That's an insane Mark up... Will the price ever be more reasonable?
