Eric Rochford I agree in order to avoid the dark roof and seats you have to order the Allure model and chose in available options the grey Leather seats, that’s what I did.
Great motor. I currently have the 3008 GT line and strongly considering upgrading it to this when I get to the end of my PCP. I do prefer black but this red is really nice. Nice video by the way 👏
Got the 508 saloon/hatchback? Love the car I have drove bmw 420 as a company cam boring compared to the 508 interior. I now have the 508 1.6 petrol THP 180 BHP and what a drive. Feels just like a bmw to be honest. Drives so nice. No so good on the mpg though.
I was gonna go for this but I’m going in hospital for major surgery but the r506 was wash to low for me to get bin and out of , so I’ve gone for the 5008 maybe in 3 yrs time when hopefully I’m a lo5 better I can go for the 508 .
@Nobby - what do you think of the seats Vs the GT? I’m stuck between the 520D and the 508(fastback). I have to say, I want the 508, think it’s beautiful but the GT line is in budget not the GT and I just think the seats in the GT are much much nicer.
The seats are amazing, extremely comfortable but visually with the patterns on them they just take it up a level. That said, the G30 can be specced with seats that are from the 7 series with gorgeous patterns stitched in so it wouldn't be a reason alone to buy one over the other.
@@NobbyOnCars do you think that to be the case even with the GT line? The seats looks really average. The full GT they look incredible alright. If I could find a GT line with the seats of the GT I’d buy it in a second. The extra bits from GT line to GT are pretty minimal but the seats are the big thing.
@@adamoconnell7744 Sorry - early morning back then!! Yes, I meant the GT. Others are ok, bolsters are decent but not as high quality. Can they be optioned with just the seats by upgrading to nappa/massage function in a GT Line?
@@NobbyOnCars yes but I’d be looking at a 2019 (back to that budget again) and doesn’t appear to be any with the spec. Terrible shame as the seats are beautiful!
Cabin in the Skoda is more spacious by a large amount, I think looks wise the 508 is a much fresher looking car though. Engine output is probably more extensive in the Skoda too but it’s such a hard call. The Skoda is a old reliable dependable and the 508 is more of a gamble but they have upped the game so much with this car.
@@NobbyOnCars I agree about the looks. The side profile has a hint of E Class Estate about the proportions. Which is another good looking car but has terrible rear legroom considering it's a 5m long car although BMW 5 and A6 are almost as bad in this area not quite sure how they 'get away with it'
So happy that Peugeot is coming back to the US... PLEASE BRING THIS BEAST HERE. I'll buy it tomorrow.
Good point about the sunglasses holder, no other 508 reviewer seems to have noticed that
That interior and exterior is refreshing compared to the German offerings. Looks a bit too dark inside though. Great vid once again.

Great review, awesome points that is meaningful for a day-to-day man! Keep it up!
German cars in the field of luxury and comfort are the best and best in the world without a doubt

Good luck with the surgery. If it's your back, right decision made.
Thank you for the review (From France) Thierry
Bonjour
Super looking car. 🤩🤩🤩
nice car and like your videos, could you also provide the fuel economy in MPG as well? I don't use the ltr per km method
Nice review! I wanted to ask if the engine feels underpowered at any instance? For example, pulling off from junctions and overtaking on motorways?
The 130bhp diesel is ok. Low down torque but wouldn’t have the same legs as the VAG unit.

Looks aside would you still put your own cash into his or a Superb. If so why

"PUUGOT" HAHAHAHA
It’s a big world, people have accents!
@@NobbyOnCars Just gave me a good laugh, nothing more. Lovely car!
IcEMyst Private you’re not the first to say it :)
At least it's not the American "Poo Joe" 😁
Can i fit in two Kids on the backseats? 😅
Well note to me... First watch the video then comment 😂
But in the most Reviews about the 508SW nobody talks about if you can get 2 Isofix seats in
@@Patryk_87 I try to fit also that kind of stuff in :) thanks for watching
pronounced purr-geot not pew-geot

Actually 'peh- zho' is closer to the mark ;)
