Force 10 from Navarone - Dam breach movie with Harrison Ford. It has been free on YT lately. Thanks for the vodcasts, I always learn something new in the details you mention or short side tracks you take.

When i run unsteady simulation the results of water depth has the same range of 0-15m in index for all the projects. Why is it coming so?

To apply rainfall only to one of the 2D areas do you use the older method of defining precip in the BC tab rather than the met tab in 6.0?

Anthony- if you just want a single excess precipitation hyetograph applied to a 2D area you can use the Boundary Condition input in the Unsteady Flow editor. If you want a more detailed hydrologic event simulated you'll need to use the Met tab.

I would like to understand why after updating windows to the latest version, ras mapper stopped working and every time I turn it on it tells me "unhandled exception" and something about JIT. Does anyone else have the same problem ?

Windows updates can sometimes mess with the HEC-RAS software. I would recommend removing the RAS and RAS Mapper programs and reinstalling them

i cant find any option for "Mixed flow regime" on running window in 5.0.7 version, how to activate that stuff?

Under the Unsteady Flow Plan window click on options--> Computation Options and Tolerance and click the far tab "1D Mixed Flow Options".

Hello Users, I just need some insights on Breaklines.
I have added breaklines into the 2d mesh area and enforced them as internal connections and entered weir data as top spillway elevation at 700m to the connections assuming they are acting as Embankments/weirs to the reservoir.
But After I ran the Unsteady flow model successfully, in the results section in the RAS Mapper Water still flowing over the embankments at 653.55 only without filling the reservoir up to 700m elevation.
    What Should I do?
    Thank you in Advance
