Exactly what was going through my head when I got the weapon
They really needed to have made the stance good. The stats on the weapon are ok actually but the multipliers and lack of forced procs on the stance is what killed the weapon imo
It still gets the job done.. and it is fun to use.
Its a heavy sawblade melee that neither does the damage or forced slash and is not saved by the clunky stance. I understand not able to run like a nikana tho but its not OK to be missing all of this.
I tried a lot of builds but this looks promising, though feels like it needs buffs
Yeah I feel like it should’ve been a crit weapon with very little statues

I say this every ghouls saw discussion and I will keep saying it, what the saw needs is to be able to extend hits in a combo, which is where whenever you hit an enemy if you hold the button you can saw through them doing a bunch of instances of damage per swing.
Some more forced slash procs will be nice as well
The amount of impact procs on a literal Circular Saw are just irritating..

It's cool looking and fun to use, I will give that! But definitely not a good dps or kps weapon, sadly... But i tried a combo-heavy hybrid and man it's good but too slow lol. Hope for a big buff

I prefer the ghoul saw with heat damage along with arcane avenger+blood rush and weeping wounds, it stacks some gnarly heat and bleeds plus heat reduces armor as well.

Why in the fek would you use crit-build mods for this thing? It's a status-monster and already gets a singular red-crit innate tick on the heavy when charged.
Just dedicate to status on this thing, guys... It has a below-average crit total and isn't worth wasting crit mods on.
Hey, was wondering if you could do a pyrana prime build with galvanized mods and an arcane pistoleer setup ? can't really figure out how to mod it to minmax it

Here I thought the ghoul rush combo was a hold type of attack. I’ll probably use this weapon from time to time since it’s a new melee type but for the time being, I’ll just stick to my gunblade

Im gonna try a status build with CO, primed fury for qol, 60/60 gas (because its gas powered duh), carnis mandible, and saxum thorax/enduring affliction... lifted enemies go boom

Lol please guys don’t bring this into the steel path. This is a fun weapon but not when you give enemies steel path levels of armour and health
Health, armor and shields are not a problem. Problem is amount of enemies on SP missions. There is just too many of them, so single target weapons aren't viable even with primed shred.

No elemental? No primer?
Pure slash is best for steel path i think. element will make slash procs less often
@@elfprodo7482 stance has some forced slash procs though. Also primers are near mandatory for most melees
@@CoDbrO9069 Stance heavy attack also has a single innate red-crit, so there's that.
Not really worth slotting crit mods for, IMO. Works fine for status, slap that heavy if you REALLY need something dead after softening it up.
This weapon is so slow I'm not sure it can be fun . That clip at the start getting counter up omg. Good thing u in simulacrum with God mode on. No chance can use two offensive arcanes with most frames in high level content even to get that crappy damage
