Any idiots who say Harman's performance was boring dont understand golf. He was precise all week and every time he was challenged he responded with up and downs, holed putts and quality shots.
He was a model for how golf should be played by 99.9% of the world.
couldn't agree more, he should be the model for most of the amateurs,
I think I have learnt much more from this little man than any other big guys in PGA tour.
Forget about 350 yards drive, just focus on club speed and precise putting.
That's what golf is all about precision.
Plus he plays from the left. Course management, short game-keys to winning.
Literally asked for this after his win because I couldn't watch any of The Open, and you all delivered! Incredible, thank you!
Harman played with no drama, kept his emotions under control, didn't listen to the media or commentators who do all they can to create drama because that's their job. He was like a machine fairways then greens putt up to the hole or in. The strategy of golf is so simple, because he was in such brilliant form he made it look very easy. He has a very compact lovely swing that isn't flamboyant like a lot of golfers you see on golf courses. I thought he was brilliant.
Lots of fun watching him. He's like a worker quietly going about his business.
Very impressive performance from a 5' 7" man. He smoked the field by 6 shots at a major! He's my favorite underdog!

1st tee shot and someone shouts "get in the bunker", those fans give us british fans a bad name, Brian was a pleasure to watch last week, a class apart from everyone else.

Very consistent round... With only one bunker at 18. Pretty solid head, I don't think it's easy to play 36 holes as the absolute leader at the British Open (under the rain)...

Let’s take a moment to appreciate B Harm’s approach shots……1. 212yd 2.180yd 3.192yd 4.123yd 5.Big 3 wood right in front of green 6.194yd to 14’ birdie 7.194yds to 20’ birdie 8.153yds. 9.223yds (holes 6&9 par 3s) Not only is he the champion golfer of the year, he did it a way few have done it before! Comparable to Zach Johnson winning at Augusta, say weather blah blah blah the dude killed it! Stop being a Interneter and put some RESPECT on this man’s name!!

Masterclass performance from Harman, I believe he also finished in top 5 at the bomb and gauge fest US Open Bryson won, then top 10 at TOC last year and 2nd in 2017 US Open Brooks won so he’s been quietly chapping the door for a while now in majors. Not a huge surprise he won but it is a huge shock he won by 6 shots 👀
