Flying Point Probe VXI Nitro - Rebuild Part 3

The car is back to a rolling chassis, and it went back together quite easily, a few stripped hardware, and finding out that some items are probably not for this car set up, but making fit to the best I can proved so far so good.
Part 4 we attempt to fire the engine up

Good to see the engine rebuild. Are you at all worried about the fuel tank being very close to the exhaust? Could it be a melting plastic situation?

Yeah, it's not ideal, the tank isn't the correct one for this Buggy. From a just run it occasionally perspective it won't be an issue - a race buggy however would be a worry, as you say a tank which could melt and the fuel being hotter (I always thought cooler fuel is better for performance in full size cars?)
If i can get the Buggy running ok and tuned, I probably source a different tank, as I need to drill the chassis anyway as I don't think I'll find an original
