Hi Adnan! Thanks, man, I appreciate that. Epic Man is just fantastic juice. They need to get back to the glory days of these types of releases. Have a great day!
This one is very complex in how it projects, i cannot smell it straight off my skin but creates an expansive but elusive scent bubble around me. This is the only niche frag i have received comments on from others, which was surprising because i didnt think it was there anymore (after several hours of 2 spray).. it has some sort of a buttery aspect to it, which i didnt like at first. But this one grew on me. Greenish, oriental type spices like cumin, some dirty aspects, and buttery. And i agree, the overall scent is very regal and very mature. I wear this only when i have a suit on or a sportcoat (usually the way i dress at work) and is one of my favorite amouage alongside overture and gold.
That being said, this is a very good smelling scent not in the way of jubilation/reflection man which is very crowd pleasing or very easy wearing. But a good smelling scent in way of it is very unique, complex, and acquired taste type of leaning.
I agree - grew on me too and I absolutely love the bottle. I am not usually a cumin fan, but this just works. I am not surprised that you got compliments with this. How I wish Amouage hadn't changed from making these classics! I am glad you like it and it is getting you compliments!
As you mentioned in your original comment, I always find myself using the word "regal" for this one. Rare to make a "rare green" fragrance, but that is what this is.
Man, this would be a tough decision. I love both. I adore Epic for so much, including the bottle. Just going on scent, Boundless is slightly more my thing. If you love guaiac wood and warm spices, go with this one. If you want something slightly more green, go with Epic. Actually, I am starting more episodes back up again! Sep 27 will be my first episode back in over a year. I quit the channel, but I am going to do it again - I just love what I do. Thanks for the compliment and for asking!
@@ThatCologneGuy Great news. I'll be visiting your channel, as your reviews are very thorough, and you're not biased. I'm leaning more towards Epic. Somehow Boundless dried down similar to Herod on my skin, and that's not a good thing. I've just learned you are tri-lingual... wow. I myself am tri-lingual as well, however, we only share English as a common language.
Thanks! I will (try to) return to my old format of one long full review and one very short review. Some don't like the long reviews that are more conversational, but I enjoy them. I wished I liked Herod as much as others do! :) Whichever one you get, let me know what you think! Thanks for checking out the channel in such detail. I assume your languages are Hebrew and English? If so, which is the third?
@@ThatCologneGuyFrench. I have 3 passports - French, Israeli and .... Portuguese. But I don't speak the language. I love Portugal. I should learn the language. Before getting Epic, I think I'll go for Xerjoff Richwood... it's now on the top of my list. I'll be waiting for your comeback.
I didn't like when the word epic become a buzzword , ie , epic failure etc. It's not so much when something is becoming, it's after it has. It's something you have to say or do to be part of . I was never cool when I was young, and now that I am older, much less so. I find what I like that I believe to have quality , and go with it, no matter what it's status is. I have to say Epic is one of my favorites of the house , and I don't own it yet. I have a few samples of it , but I am , again, testing out Imaginary Authors. . I subbed you because of a comment you made on someones upload. Very nice review. Will be interested in your reviews of The Library Collection.
Hey Johmathan! Appreciate the insight and the same applies to me with regard to quality, though I would add "just smells good" works, too. Ha ha ha. Thanks for mentioning why you subbed me - I appreciate it! Library Collection is my September projection...can't wait!
Thank you, Adz! Actually, even though I love this one and the Blue Beast, I really haven't gotten a ton of compliments on them. Many more on Beach Hut Man and Bracken Man. I am surprised, to be honest.
@@adzadzy You are welcome...Beach Hut is definitely not the typical "Amouage release," but I personally loved it. Interlude, Opus VI, and Jubilation XXV are my three favorite
Love this scent. Very masculine and classy.
Classy indeed! Have you seen the special edition bottle? Amazing. www.amouage.com/epic-man-special-edition.html
The most in-depth review I've come across! And the best one at that.

Ben, your best review so far, had to watch it again!
Thanks! You will enjoy the reviews of the Library Collection because that is what you got me for Xmas!

Ben, your olfactory senses are amazing!
Thanks again for watching all of these!
Great video.
Is this channel still active?
I am now contemplating whether to buy Epic or Boundless... what say you?

An EPIC review, Sir.
:) Thanks, Mosiah! I really appreciate that. It must be for this fragrance. I love it!
