If your computer supports win10 smoothly, you can run win11 more smoothly, the unsupport matter is only a security chip nothing more and you can pass it easily
This video intends to highlight the most important features. I'll try later to create a video with all new features and changes for this update. Thanks, The final version of the update is known as KB5031354, not KB5030310 as stated on the video.
I updated using windows update and nothing's changed except the new home page in settings. Edit: managed to make it work. My solution is replied to this comment
@@harsh_singh332 i turned on “Get the latest updates as soon as they're available,” toggle then restarted then check for updates then it installed a windows configuration update (KB5030509) then restarted again and I already have it. The configuration update is what turned on the features. You might actually have the latest features, but it is just turned off so you need this configuration update to turn those features on. Unfortunately, this configuration update can't be manually installed as far as I know because you can't download it on the microsoft website. Another bad news is that my solution doesn't seem to work on every device because I tried it on my pc and it did not work but it worked on my laptop. Just keep that toggle that I've said earlier on and try manually checking for updates every now and then. Windows might just be checking for your device compatibility.
lol, macos is way way less cutomizable than windows. You can literally make Windows look like macos with some addons but it's pretty much impossible to change anything about macos unless you install window management and redo window management and use it like Linux.
The new UI looks very chunky and big compared to the previous version. Some of the buttons in the settings app have completely their padding. I hope MS releases an update soon to fix these issues.
I received an update on my Surface Pro 9 today (10/10/23 at around 1230PM CST). But it's not 23H2 (KB5031354). However, it is "2023-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5031323)". Also, I see my windows file explorer looks the same as what you are showing in your video (including the gallery). And, it seems my 22H2 pretty much has all the features that you are referring to in this video. What am I missing?
two weeks later and 10/26 and still no 23H2. I wonder if it will actually happen in October and think it won't roll out until November instead. I'm still on 22621.2428.
That's because of the Control Feature Rollout technology, meaning after the update, Microsoft will turn on the feature when it feels your device is ready.
Still windows 10 is more stable compare to windows 11, even it releases 2yrs before and mazor os stats show windows 10 around 70% user while windows 11 still on below 30%
I got the update in my desktop and laptop but in the desktop version it does not turn on the new file explorer version.....everything else is okay.....I am confused as in my laptop it is running alright.
Lets face it this is just shuffling deck chairs and cosmetic. What about something that needs doing like having the task bar movable. I have mine (W10)on the right so I can open Taskbar features without blocking other windows. Also with the dimensional size of wide screens (now standard) the side is a logical place, the top and bottom are not.
you can installing 23H2 right now easily because preview channel can use and its pretty stable if no wants to waiting release later, i use preview channel to get all new features lot earlier than others whom waiting public release stable version
touchpad gestures are still meh, animations meh, no custom shortcuts feature, UX overall is meh too since it's still a pain in the nuts to navigate through system settings. The design overall of windows 11 is good but i am sorry, the UX is just trash
Don't ever compare fluent ui on Windows 11 with whatever Apple is doing with macos. The settings app on macos is a nightmare. This is for those comparing windows with macos because of automatic night mode, which I dont even use. I'm always in dark mode. windows UI is far better than macos at the moment. We just need MS to get rid of old stuff, but some IT guys will be mad.

it’s funny how all the unsupported computers that has windows 11 22H2 get all the feature updates and still run smoothly
Same bruh😅
Weren't they unsupported for security features?

Same with me 😢
Did you find any fix?

We need new and updated high res black mouse cursor.
Thanks for the video!
? Notepad Autosave, Snipping Tool OCR, Paint App OCR
These were mentions to be in Moment 4, but still don't seem to have been switched on
We need native automatic darkmode. MacOS is putting Windows to shame with personalization.

@@rano12321 apple is just very strict about what u can and can’t not do
macOS settings app is a nightmare
At least macOS cohesive. Asking for an automatic theme switcher is the most basic of things.
what a useless feature. just use the dark mode.

Extracting files from these archival formats are fine until there's a password... in which, it will fail.

This UI is better for touchscreen so there's nothing to fix about its size IMO

Copilot disabled, it eats too much of my cpu.
Just updated, but none of these. Possibly not available in the home version ?

I'm in the process of downloading/installing the Windows 11 22H2 update KB5031354 right now.
This update has icon and thumbnail rendering issue.
Was I meant to get the 23H2 update already? I had to update 21H2 using the Update Assistant since Windows Update wouldn’t work and it put me on 23H2.

Installing the update doesn't automatically turn on all the features. Microsoft is turning them on gradually. Annoying, I know...
it's 2023, File Explorer still doesn't have tab management...
new File Explorer looks quite bad compared to the old one or macos finder
I hear you, but I do like the header distribution of elements to make it similar to the web browser.
Finder has to be the stupidest thing about macos after window management.
Total Commander or Directory Opus can fix that. Just a little bit.
what update time will be in europe?
It's Shame for Microsoft 👎
@@Perozderic why are you watching it then?
what shame? lol
dynamic lighting is trash at the moment, and will remain trash forever, as every other MS third party application, except Windows itself and Office.
what is the releases date of Windows 11 23H2 :(
Nov/Dec
