And considering that French and English are the most spoken languages on the planet I don't think it's that uncommon for people to know both. And I wasn't showing off, that person posted a comment in French, so I replied in French, I don't t see the issue.
Frédéric Chopin im not talking about the answer in french, im talking about the first comment. No, not all people in the world can speak french, its not common at all, dont feel superior for that. Btw french is not event close to the number 2 after english, that shows how much you know
Totally a white president ok, fine I was wrong about that fact, but French and English are the only languages that are officially spoken on all continents. And saying this video is ok for people who know both languages isn't stuck up, it's literally just true. I didn't say there would be an issue with showing the French versions. I would be perfectly fine if they did. It's just that in the videos current state it is understandable for people who know both languages. I don't feel superior for knowing French at all either. You're all triggered just because I said this video is understandable for people who know both languages lol.
as an American I have never said or even heard the term "Amuse-Bouche", that must either be a regional thing or extremely dated. Also, at least we pronounce Lieutenant sort of like the french do, should have had them try to pronounce it the British way (LEFT-tenant).

I think it's funny you say that because french has a lot more grammar rules than english has... like way more. That's why english is an easy language to learn and french is kind of hard and long to learn
@@vincentricard6973 bro literally english is one of the hardest languages to learn what are u talking about. english has tons of grammar rules that only apply sometimes while most romance languages have consistent rules that make it easier to learn
Sevan Fuscellaro wtf i learned english, french and spanish and english is by far the easiest language to learn. the reason is, that english grammar has almost no conjugation, out of my head to be is the only one adapting to the form of the subject.A huge facilitator, in comparison to roman language, is that english verbs are mostly regular in the same each own tense( yes there are some verbs which differ in simple past and present perfect but its minimal). further there is just one article. if you ever tried to learn french have fun with all the accents and with spanish try do differentiate the two simple past ways(indefinido and imperfecto). i personally would say learning spanish simple past is as learning english in a total but that is super subjective.
@@MrSumta I suppose part of it depends on your native language. But p much every multilingual person I've ever met has told me English was the hardest to learn

the curly haired guy with the black shirt i'm in love with his voice 😍
show also how they say it normally to compare.....this video is pointless without that part
Totally a white president it isn't if you know both languages
yea Frederic thanks for showing us your big ego telling us you know both languages, we totally needed that. It helps in this situation no doubt
Totally a white president I don't get how that gives me a big ego, its just that this video is not pointless to people who can speak both languages.
Hahah😅 the older guy s just adorable😋
omg that one guy in the black shirt... his voice... *aggressive chefs kiss*
0:48 I have have never heard of this word in my entire life.
It's an old foodie word
when you go to fancy gallery opening
The boy in a green tee is PRECIOUS
Damn that girl is hella cute
ugh, don't you read the comments? It's all about the guy in the green/gray shirt. everyone wants to make his eyes roll more.
You can't just show me a wholesome video with some attractive French bloke talking about lingerie and get away with it...
evidently he actually just said "I got this one," but i wish he'd said "i own some"!
As someone that can speak fluently in English and French this was hilarious😂
I love how they’re rolling their eyes😂
as an American I have never said or even heard the term "Amuse-Bouche", that must either be a regional thing or extremely dated. Also, at least we pronounce Lieutenant sort of like the french do, should have had them try to pronounce it the British way (LEFT-tenant).
kidthorazine amuse bouche is basically an appetizer
kidthorazine since when do British ppl say ‘Left- tennant’, im British and I say it like ‘loo-tennant’ (the same way most ppl do)
Ima Unicorn ive heard lots of british people say it lefttennant its also really common in old war movies in the like maybe its becoming outdated but people do still say it like that
You are pronouncing it incorrectly, then. In British English, Lieutenant is pronounced lefftennant.
You obviously don’t go the right places to hear about amuse-bouches
0:24 for some reason her saying encore was rly cute just now lol...
She's saying encore in French pronunciation meaning "more" in english
English: Actually has some spelling rules
French people: **eyes roll**
I mean the words in the video arent english words, they are french words which originated from the french language. Its normal for french people to roll their eyes when hearing how they language got adaptated.
But p much every multilingual person I've ever met has told me English was the hardest to learn
boy in green super cute does he want my number I live in paris
Sam Asher he's mine back off
No mine

Ariana Gandhi your profile pic made me fall of my bed laughing 😂😂😂
as a non-french speaker this video is confusing. where is the French pronunciation?
Elena Lo Greco never
forvo.com
It's because the video is about French people trying to pronunciate French words as Americans do, and it's clearly not the same pronunciation in both languages :))
Virgule - this is why Elena, who doesn't speak French, would like to hear the French pronunciation as well - to compare the two. I would have loved to hear it too :)
Ooh you're right, I didn't get it that way! :)
I just really want to hear them say "squirrel" now
I´m french and I can prononce "squirrel"! Ok ok no one else in my class can do it but still that´s an average of 1/36
I can't. And my mother tongue is English. Just Aussie English 😂
I ask my American friends to say it over and over because it amuses me endlessly.

should have included "La Croix"- that one always gets me.
Now im curious -- how is it pronounced in english?
Here’s one: In my state there’s a town named Versailles. I pronounced it the French way and was corrected on how to pronounce it. It’s Ver-sails. My state has a lot of French cities because the French used to own the land and a lot of the pronunciation is definitely interesting!
Name of the guy who rolls his eyes please?
