No one is filling a vulture 4 times, returning to base twice, unloading cargo, printing the rest in the buffer and unloading that and then selling it all, all within 1 hour. All gaming guides see to take the "guy" approach to estimates - just add a couple inches.
I don’t want to pick on this excellent video and my comment here is a general comment on guide makers and general player comments. This whole obsession about hourly rates is really not how SC should be played. And secondly, when people say 1 hour, they are normally talking about 6 hours in reality lol
@@thomasinlondon2849 The reason hourly rates are appealing is for those of use with limited time. In an ideal world I wouldn't worry about min/maxing gameplay and focus more on enjoyment, but realistically, if I have two hours to play, I want to make sure that it gainfully contributes towards my greater goal - especially when one bug can easily sink a whole session. 50 SCU of this material is 700 k $. This trip and all took you at least (at least!) 1 1/2 hours. So i wonder how your 1mil/h is calculated, do i miss something?
Yeah, 1 mil an hour is not true. You could do that in 3.23, but not in 3.24 with how we have to move Cargo now. A full vulture (39 SCU) used to sell for 550k and now sells for 460k. So you would need just a tad over 2 full vultures. (This is on and off the grid and in the buffer). If you could sell at the station, then I could see a easy 1mil an hour
@@Izatrixi Even in 3.23 I wouldn’t say 1mil/h was possible unless you had a prepared cargo ship to move all the SCUs (Remember selling takes time as well, and if you sell from the Vulture it takes shit ton of time, bc you need to travel in the city and back to sell using travel systems (trains, shuttles)
@@robinekhoodekful I was able to get really good luck when it came to panels before the patch dropped. 1 large panel gives 10.6 scu of rmc and I could find panel fields ranging from 4-7 panels. And I play around Microtech. So I just landed at the ice lake to get into the commons. I would make 1.1mil about every 1 hour and 15 mins to 1.5 hrs. Sometimes faster if I can fill the vulture up fast.
Great video and tips! Just wanted to mention a QOL that a lot of people may be unaware of; have whatever size container but 8 is better in your warehouse inventory. Go to the storage access terminal - Container tab, right click on the container- Open option, which opens a second window, now change tabs at the top to whatever you want to put in the box and drag items to the box. Click the x in the lower box when done.
Also works for box to box transfer, example moving looted items from 2SCU box to 8SCU box. You’ll have three open windows on the right side of the screen and you just drag from one box to another. This is great for selling items in bulk at Cargo kiosks, shibin at NB and Dumpers depot A18. Not sure about the other locations but Dumpers buys ship components in bulk and all of the locations I mentioned buy looted armor, slot 2 - meaning not pistol FPS weapons in bulk. Don’t use quick sell when you choose the box to sell, click on the box icon and the second box appears but also lists all items in the box. Check marked items will sell with the box and unchecked items go back in inventory. Even hospital gowns sell in bulk at some of these locations lol

Pro tip how to avoid that Star Citizen moment at the end is to spam landing requests as you approach the hangar. What happened there was a desync, on your end the hangar door was open, server thought it was closed. Happened to me few times, one time with a Reclaimer after 4 crew 3 hour salvage expedition.
I'd say when you empty your salvage buffer, start laying out the third row (on the side, outside of cargo grid) from the start. That way it's much easier than first filling the entire cargo grid and then trying to fit the rest through the narrow corridor. I have done tens of salvage runs in the last few weeks and not once have I been blown up, or even had a single cargo glitch out (and I've never done this before, so I wouldn't say it was due to my great expertise ^^). With a little practise you should be able to empty the whole 13scu buffer twice (the last few boxes can get really tedious though, so don't beat yourself up if you can't) - so you can squeeze a total of 39scu from a single run, including the third batch of 13 in the buffer. Thanks to the cargo update now we don't have to run back and forth to unload it all anymore ^^
You can’t do 1 million an hour in a Vulture salvaging panels. On a good run salvaging panels and cramming the Vulture to the brim you can make around 500k. I do it regularly and in 3.24 it’s well over an hour with unloading times.
That's a bit of a clickbait title since one run is about 500k and I took me also more than an hour to do a run. If not two hours when you begin since a planetary spaceport. It's still a good way to make money.
Couldn't agree more. The 1 Million an hour is just click bait. I also have been running panels in a Vulture since 3.23 and into 3.24. 500K per hour is actually pretty fortunate in my opinion. Its more like 500K per 90 minutes on average for me when you include delivery/sell time. And I have made well over 20 million salvaging panels. 3.24 actually helped this situation because you can store your extra 13 SCU in the freight elevator after you craft it. Still good money though.

to fix panels disappearing when moving close u want to be 1km away from the signal and slow down below 100 on ur speed counter and approach slow they should just spawn in u can see where they are when they're invisible with the scanner (V key) where it say's (SGNL) as u get closer it will increase this is why u go slow so u do not crash into invisible panels hope this helps anyone who is confused as to why they cant find panels : )
I run out of Cru L1, it's where I keep most of my stuff lol. Legal Disclaimer. I love Salvaging but no, you're not going to be making a Million per hour in a Vulture.. 375K to about 500K per hour is still better money than most anything else in SC and is a lot more realistic. You can bump that up to about 750K per hour if you really work at it. But not by doing panels. Top dollar requires insurance fraud lol. Set spawn to the station, any station you have multiple ships stored at. Fly Vulture out from station until clear of armistice zone. Get out of pilot seat then backspace to respawn at station. Retrieve another ship (DO NOT CLAIM THE VULTURE). An M2 Herc works nicely as a target. Fly your target ship out to your Vulture using the marker from your body where you backspaced. Shut the target ship down completely. EVA from target ship to Vulture. Loot your dead body then toss out the remains. backspace to respawn at the station. Retrieve your favorite cargo ship. Fly out to your Vulture, using the marker from your dead body. Loot the body, dispose of the remains. Scrape the target ship. As your Vulture cargo hold is filled, transfer the RMC to the cargo ship. An M2 Herc will yield about 65 scu using the Abrade scrapers. When you're done scraping the M2, just back off a bit and shoot it till it explodes. That way it will despawn after a time instead of cluttering up the server.
Classic , happens to me too today . Did ten hauling runs at once works fine. Second run i was just finished loading , over a hour and the second last box somehow got lose and was flying with ultra speed out of the ship with a big bang .. hours wasted
I hope they fix the LOD issues of those panels ... you have to basically risk crashing into them for them to pop up. Scanning is bad enough as it is... but the Panels should at least be visible. The large panels don't reliably show up if you are more than 200m away from them ...
Dang bro! I too know the feeling of when I get Star Citizened! I feel your pain. But…that is a great tip to do with storing them and selling all at once…high risk high reward, but worth it I’m sure.
With that upgrade to you scraper would you just recommend me using my reclaimer? I’m insanely debating getting a vulture they just seem way faster. I just don’t know :/ please give me some advice as I already own a reclaimer back from the days of CM farming but RMC is the game now
My man, if I can make 1 suggestion to you. Never switch cameras in your hanger. I have lost over 10 million AUEC in Cargo doing that. Some people also say that it's also got to do with your ship's shields being on, but I don't know which one is true. I've had this happed 3/5 times at Lorville, 2/2 times at New Babbage, and 0/12 times at Orison in the last few weeks. You also played super early during this update which might have added salt to the wounds. If you're down we can salvage in my Reclaimer to make up for your losses.
this is good, but you know that you can have a multitool right on the ship processing module right? All you need to do is make sure you have RMC so they are available in the machine
Nice Video man! currently favourite ship is the reclaimer, thank god i can sell without having to unload, just fill it with CM, unload from hopper, store at station and sell. - Equilibriater
Nah the unverified missions in the belt of yela are still way better and faster. Scrap panels once, take that money and do a couple of regular salvage missions until you get hammerheads and other big ships in the unverified tab that pay you for completing the mission. They can max out your the vulture and buffer in minutes and you are right next to orison. Last night in a couple of hours I got 400+ rmc in my warehouse at orison. There and back in under 5 mins and more rmc then you can scrap with the vulture. You get an hour to complete the missions I can usually fill my vulture twice off each mission.
so question, why not fill that empty space in the vuture with loose boxes? you can get 24 in the back, plus 13 in the buffer which gives you 37 in total, thats what i do and it works well
Honestly.. you can’t do this in an hour. It takes around 78 boxes to make 1m aUec. With how hard it is to salvage panels and the initial salvage missions not even appearing for some players, it will take longer than an hour to find, salvage, unload, swap, load, travel, unload again and then finally sell. Unless you count the time it takes to load into a cargo ship, travel to a city with a TDD, unload and then sell.
I have blown up so many times with the side stack 😂. I’m gonna have to again sense the power button for the claw on my Reclaimer is missing. So sad. And I have an extra large hanger that smashes my MSR every time I take off but I can get the reclaimer out every time without a hitch.
Prices have tanked, Sept 8 its down to 14K (was 25K)... that and the Vulture scanning is bugged, most of the resource "dots" don't show up so you can't even see where to go.
Did they revert the Multitool Tractor Beam changes? For a brief time it was too weak to be able to lift those RMC crates coming out of the Vulture refinery!
How do you get "$1M/Hr", from this, when you said it took "An Hour" just to load up the Andromeda? What about salvage time? Plus... SEVERAL trips finding the panels, and SEVERAL times off-loading! How much time did this actually take? 5hrs? 6hrs?
so ehh, where exactly do i go to sell the rmc? lol and wat was that about a refinery being on the space station, do i have to refine the rmc before i can sell it or was that just to buy a bigger container?
i refilled my vulture 2 times and I cant sell it anywhere not even on orison I did 3 stations/planets and none of them wanted to buy it.. In orison they told me to put it in the elevator and after they said that they couldnt accept my rmc do you know why it happens?

thank you bro, make sure to join the discord! funnier moments there and on stream!
😂😂😂 Oh man I felt your pain. Star citizen breaking hearts since its inception.
I liked the part where Chris Roberts said "It's Connie Splodin time!" and destroyed all of Kabutopz hopes and dreams.
490-500k/hr max 39 containers in to vulture, it takes around 45min-1hrs to scrap and sell it
to fix panels disappearing when moving close u want to be 1km away from the signal and slow down below 100 on ur speed counter and approach slow they should just spawn in u can see where they are when they're invisible with the scanner (V key) where it say's (SGNL) as u get closer it will increase this is why u go slow so u do not crash into invisible panels hope this helps anyone who is confused as to why they cant find panels : )
Did you head back to the hangar and look? Most of the cargo could still be there, thanks to the persistence of the hangars.
Giveaway: RauteImHerz, my favourite Ship is the C2, because it looks a bit like a Wale
Nice Video, but you can store many 1scu boxes in in a big scu box then it goes faster.
that exact thing happened to my taurus as well, in Orison, but I had mined ores, that was the last time I did mining
Yela asteroid belt is a much better location, there are more panels than in L1.
Really depends on where you want to be. I am able to fill a Vulture up real fast at MIC L2 A
Good work bro. I felt your pain in the end.
But…that is a great tip to do with storing them and selling all at once…high risk high reward, but worth it I’m sure.
the first "Why" sounds so fucking SAD rip man subbed and liked dont even have the game yet cant run it but love watching
With that upgrade to you scraper would you just recommend me using my reclaimer? I’m insanely debating getting a vulture they just seem way faster. I just don’t know :/ please give me some advice as I already own a reclaimer back from the days of CM farming but RMC is the game now
vulture is faster in my opinion and i know others agree, at the current state of the game i actually think it’s leagues better than the reclaimer
So sorry for you. That's why I don't try to move any cargo, I used to move alot of Rmc. loose 2 loads for every one.
that death is the reason why i stick with area 18 or crusader for selling
Unload from hopper? Please explain for a noob
I would love to do this if I had a constellationship lol made 500k doing this though using my c1 for cargo
Ruff ending, thanks for the video!
What i have heard per Taurus in the home hanger lower main lift but keep the whole ship like 3 feet off the pad floor.
Sell it on Area 18 for 14,4K one of the box is 14,400K.
On Orison is one box 14,040
so question, why not fill that empty space in the vuture with loose boxes? you can get 24 in the back, plus 13 in the buffer which gives you 37 in total, thats what i do and it works well
Honestly.. you can’t do this in an hour. It takes around 78 boxes to make 1m aUec. With how hard it is to salvage panels and the initial salvage missions not even appearing for some players, it will take longer than an hour to find, salvage, unload, swap, load, travel, unload again and then finally sell. Unless you count the time it takes to load into a cargo ship, travel to a city with a TDD, unload and then sell.
this was the realist how to i've ever seen lmao i'm sorry it's not funny but it's funny...
How did you get the orange paint job on the Andromeda? I'd love it on mine, that color palette is beautiful.
it’s $7 USD on the pledge store i’m pretty sure
A better advice - sell directly from Vulture haha.
If you filled it up in 1Hr then the title should change a little.
How much was all the boxes worth?
Shows the true nature of the beast called StarCitizen. Terrible that it happed like that. Feel for ya.
Rest in pepperonis bro
I have blown up so many times with the side stack 😂. I’m gonna have to again sense the power button for the claw on my Reclaimer is missing. So sad. And I have an extra large hanger that smashes my MSR every time I take off but I can get the reclaimer out every time without a hitch.
The end is peak Star Citizen. 07
Do people actually buy the materials you sell for crafting or is that not in yet?
why replace the cinch? just remove the tractor beam, was the worst thing they did the vulture. just replace the tractor beam with a 2nd abrade
I keep the tractor beam and replace both cinch.
@@user-bh6hi6cr5h yea could do that too
Pain, pure unadulterated pain DX
Would have sold for around 722k and it took over an hour just to load it. 300k per hour at best.
Prices have tanked, Sept 8 its down to 14K (was 25K)... that and the Vulture scanning is bugged, most of the resource "dots" don't show up so you can't even see where to go.
Ohhhhh noooo I’m sorry about the ending… I never use orison because of that reason.
Remember fellow salvagers dont fly direct, do those dog legs if you dont want those nasty pirates going through your stuff😂
Great video for new players! Once you have a vulture..
They stealth nerfed panel scraping today in 3.24.1!! It takes two to three times longer now.
Good video, subscribed ✅
Did they revert the Multitool Tractor Beam changes? For a brief time it was too weak to be able to lift those RMC crates coming out of the Vulture refinery!
beginner guide: have a constellation
you can explode from extra rmc boxes? never encountered that before
How do you get "$1M/Hr", from this, when you said it took "An Hour" just to load up the Andromeda? What about salvage time?
Plus... SEVERAL trips finding the panels, and SEVERAL times off-loading! How much time did this actually take? 5hrs? 6hrs?
Can I recommend turning down your music volume at the beginning of the video, I found it hard to focus on what you were saying.
i had comments saying to turn it up so idk what’s best, i’ll try to level it better
@@kabutopz You just can't win I guess haha. All the best
@@OutlookJonas thank you! and seems like it haha
10 x 14,999 is 149,990k . Sell at Area 18 for more money
1st rule of Star Citizen: Don't try anything.
This is a normal day in star citizen
Bring a helper with you next time. I'll go quicker
Thanks for the vid
You bet, i got you man!
so ehh, where exactly do i go to sell the rmc? lol and wat was that about a refinery being on the space station, do i have to refine the rmc before i can sell it or was that just to buy a bigger container?
i refilled my vulture 2 times and I cant sell it anywhere not even on orison I did 3 stations/planets and none of them wanted to buy it.. In orison they told me to put it in the elevator and after they said that they couldnt accept my rmc do you know why it happens?
You got GREEDY!! Having or showing an intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth or power. THE BOSS.
