So the boxes are 1 SCU. if its anything less than 1 SCU you cannot create a box. I have .72 in the buffer after selling everything. How to get rid or sell that .72 RMC in the buffer?
If its RMC, just fill up again full buffer, if its CM, then that is hard to get rid of, only if you fill up CM full buffer, when you fracture and disintigrade the ship, but you cant do that on panels, them you can only scrap.

Thanks for the3 great advice contained in your video. I was really struggling to eyeball the panels even after scanning them & slowly getting close. Also - I love your method of stacking. I tried it today after locating 12 panels (Scan value = 24000). I wished I had a buddy in a freighter ship to assist me, but your stacking method helped me maximise what I could do solo.
I am absolutly new to this game, stopped 5 years ago and now coming back slowly and this video helped me alot. 1 thing id like to add finding spaceports on Planets. I leave the Quantum Mode enabled which gives me a marker on the hud with exact distance.

Sory for late responding. I teach over 1000 players already how to get into mining and also now salvage, thats wy I need alot of ships because they dont thave them. I was always having 4-5 Moles and more then 6-7 Prospectors in the past, and mayn times all that ships was out mining. Anyway, thank you a lot for responding! So just tried this out took 1 hour 40 minute to find one tiny panel that brought in like 1 scu it’s way quicker just taking salvage contracts due to the time it takes to find panels and there’s little to none if you stop 750km away from crul2
First this video is from previous patch(its older video), where you could scrape duble amount of SCU in that time. Second you cant be 750km from station, it need to be around the station, or you can go in Yela belt like i did in video, pannels need to be there still in this patch. Thing wy is so clouse next to station is that is not safe, its point of interest, so potentionaly someone can attack you. Salvaging contracts is eazy to do, but now you need to also pay for them. In 4.0 Pyro update, they changing that so we will dont havto pay for them any more.

@@risbotheblade2630 15:19 I'm struggling a bit with this approach. Often the markers turn out to be rocks, even with 5k+ signatures. And also, like you say, sometimes the panels don't show up at all, depending on the server lol
@@Bokaj01 you need to get right signatures, that means numbers od 2000 and multiplay of thats numbers Like 4000, 6000, 8000 and so on till 28000, that is all panels.

Thanks for collecting all the informations round about the salvaging loop. I miss one information, you buy better abrade modules, how effective are they comparing the default ones?
@@risbotheblade2630 maybe i missunderstund something. i saw and understand that you compare the 3 types regarding time and amount. But are there different abrade modules which different efficiency? for example Type a gives you 2 SCU for salvaging a titan and type b gives you 3 SCU for salvaging the same ship? Hope you can understand my point :)
@@TheSpawn1508 No.You only have one type of each module, and Cinch is default one and is very slow, and in comparison to Abrades he gives only around 1/10 more of materijal, what is not worthet much. Speed plays here bigger role, and diference here is big, Abrades is faster around 1.5 times then Cinch.

Hi Risbo, can i make a request? Try a panel test with 1x of the medium size scrapers and 1x large one I feel like the slower large one heating up the larger area may let the medium one munch much faster and may be the best of both worlds

So it looks like you get a slightly smaller return by salvaging in the belt and selling at Grim Hex, but it looks massively faster than having to go to a capitol planet and use a TDD, so the actual profit over time is way larger

@risbotheblade2630 yeah that's true definitely, but if I have to go through landing in Lorville, walking all the way through the starport to the tram, travelling to the CBD, selling all my RMC, going all the way back, removing the last RMC from my vulture buffer, then all the way back to the CBD, and then only then being able to leave again I'm gonna lose my mind hahaha

Don't have enough yet. Do you think it would cost efficient for me to just rent a Vulture daily and make money that way? I need to remove the tractor beam but once in space I unlocked the ports but only could remove the whole Baler head. I also un-equipped the tractor beam in vm mode but once in space it re-equipped and i could not use 2 Abrades at the same time.
Yea thats correct. Modules are inside ship. So you cant remove it from outide. I would need to see screnshoot how is your setup in Vehicle Loadout Manger to help you solve problem.
Very good video, but I didn't understand very well the part of the salvage components. You buy 2 trawlers and one abrade but then you equip two trawlers and 2 abrade. And, if it's better the abrade than the trawler, why do you buy 2 trawlers and not 4 abrade?
You can equip 4 Abrades but only 1 of each side(left and right) is only operational, so you waisting other 2 slots for modules. In the video I am explaining your options what you can equip. Trawlers are basically maybe just for doing those salvage missions where you have a time limit on them, so you do them faster with Trawlers just for finishing missions and not for actual RMC. But Abrades are like 20-25% more efficient and just a tiny bit slower. That is why Abrades are the best option to use. All these modules are not expensive, so just buy them all, and then you can combine what you want. And Cinch is just the default module and a very slow one. Thank you a lot for your response ! Hello, great video ^^ There is one thing I'm a bit confused about tho. You say to buy two Trawler Scraper Module and one Abrade but later when you show your setup you play with only two Abrade and keep tractor beam and one empty. The other option with the two Trawelers you don't recommend so why do we wanna buy them? xD
Some players use them anyway, so if you wanna use them with Abrades in pair, to just switch to Trawlers, you need to set them up like I am showing there. If you mix it up from up to down slots then you gonna have 2 same ones on each side. This is to show just what is correct setup. Modules are cheap under 2 k one, so thats not problem to buy.

You just need to point it towards markers where it says UNKNOWN, and then on right side you gonna see RS signature. It does not have to show you something more. If signature is correct, just fly towards unknown marker. If you dont see markers, that right bar where it says PIERCE, its probably set to high, just put it on 0%. You can press G after engaging the lasers. Puts it in turret mode so the ship doesn't move.

You have comparison on video on all 3 scraping modules. Abrades are more then 1 time flaster then Cinch, they are best choise.

So it looks like you get a slightly smaller return by salvaging in the belt and selling at Grim Hex, but it looks massively faster than having to go to a capitol planet and use a TDD, so the actual profit over time is way larger
It almoust 90K diffrence, for some players that is alot to lose 🙂

@risbotheblade2630 yeah that's true definitely, but if I have to go through landing in Lorville, walking all the way through the starport to the tram, travelling to the CBD, selling all my RMC, going all the way back, removing the last RMC from my vulture buffer, then all the way back to the CBD, and then only then being able to leave again I'm gonna lose my mind hahaha
Hey man great vid! New player to the verse, and this was very helpful and thorough. I'm currently in a Titan, which is my only vehicle, and im doing missions and saving my money to buy the Vulture. Don't have enough yet. Do you think it would cost efficient for me to just rent a Vulture daily and make money that way? Or just keep pushing missions in the Titan until I can afford to buy the Vulture?

I need to remove the tractor beam but once in space I unlocked the ports but only could remove the whole Baler head. I also un-equipped the tractor beam in vm mode but once in space it re-equipped and i could not use 2 Abrades at the same time.
Yea thats correct. Modules are inside ship. So you cant remove it from outide. I would need to see screnshoot how is your setup in Vehicle Loadout Manger to help you solve problem.

Very good video, but I didn't understand very well the part of the salvage components. You buy 2 trawlers and one abrade but then you equip two trawlers and 2 abrade. And, if it's better the abrade than the trawler, why do you buy 2 trawlers and not 4 abrade?
You can equip 4 Abrades but only 1 of each side(left and right) is only operational, so you waisting other 2 slots for modules. In the video I am explaining your options what you can equip.
Trawlers are basically maybe just for doing those salvage missions where you have a time limit on them, so you do them faster with Trawlers just for finishing missions and not for actual RMC. But Abrades are like 20-25% more efficient and just a tiny bit slower. That is why Abrades are the best option to use. All these modules are not expensive, so just buy them all, and then you can combine what you want. And Cinch is just the default module and a very slow one.

There is one thing I'm a bit confused about tho.
You say to buy two Trawler Scraper Module and one Abrade but later when you show your setup you play with only two Abrade and keep tractor beam and one empty.
The other option with the two Trawelers you don't recommend so why do we wanna buy them? xD
Some players use them anyway, so if you wanna use them with Abrades in pair, to just switch to Trawlers, you need to set them up like I am showing there. If you mix it up from up to down slots then you gonna have 2 same ones on each side. This is to show just what is correct setup. Modules are cheap under 2 k one, so thats not problem to buy.
Can the vulture still create a multi tool with rmc?

when i press V it doesnt show me the scanned stuff when i point at targets
You just need to point it towards markers where it says UNKNOWN, and then on right side you gonna see RS signature. It does not have to show you something more. If signature is correct, just fly towards unknown marker. If you dont see markers, that right bar where it says PIERCE, its probably set to high, just put it on 0%.
