I just recently learned that the back cargo door would open. I am going to try out the self destruct method. Really, really appreciate the atls usage tutorial. Hey, I changed my mind about the last way we did it. The first way, where one guy sits in the cockpit and opens and closes the bank door to push the boxes out, felt wrong. I think all the ships need is a platform that slides into the ship so it's open without that little drop for the boxes. That way, it'll be much easier.

I feel like the rear lift used to work as intended by going up and down between the salvage processing and salvage hold levels, leaving an opening to drop the boxes out. if you look at the piston arms on that lift you can see its supposed to go up, not out of the ship. I could be wrong but to me that seems like what it should do. now by going outside the ship it just gets all in the way and to me doesnt make sense. looking at the ship it seems they eventually want something to come out and slide down those rails on the belly. we can only hope they eventually get to that. Yes, this is connected with what you say, but if we want to have fast unload of the salvage area, it can only be underneath the reclaimer where those rails are, or the whole back side needs to open. Also I'm pretty sure if you just tap z it'll keep you in freelook, it does it for me but may not be the default behavior. If it isn't I recommend setting it. Also binding arrow keys to look in addition to the mouse so you can look up or down while still in control of the mouseyolk without holding z.

The poop chute has been known and used forever but it doesn't let you get larger boxes out unless you use bugs, which is stupid. They need to fix the ship so it properly works with larger crates :(

How do you unsnap a box to grid but keep it there? Couldn’t figure it out, but in the scope of things it’s a small sacrifice of the bottom layers in the Processing Room.

Nice. I can't condone the fastest method of unloading the Reclaimer, but they part on using the ATLS correctly is very good. I bet it is even faster if using head/eye tracking because you can just turn your head and not need to hold Z.

Bro where can you sell the Construction Materials? And how exactly because ive tried in Area 18 and on space stations the old way by placing the reclaimer sideways and i cant it says cant sell cargo. Also when placing the first layer do you have to lower the elevator so you can sell it at the admin office or you just leave it there not lowered sell and repeat? Thank you for the guide!
Yea, always when you put something on grid on fraight elevator, you need to lower them, so cargo is stored. Then you go to sell to admin in citiy. I didint try it now it this patch, maybe they change selling to TDD in city. But dont blow up Reclaimer to unload, that is not working anymore in Pyro patch, you going to lose cargo. Very cool advice thank you!!!! i worked very well with the atls...but with holding Z-Key i didn't know😊. I never useing Grids for loading boxes and it worked always well to fully load the rooms of ships since boxes do no damage to the ship. How do you self destruct the reclaimer...i didn't understand it, you didn't push the self destruction key of the ship right? But how you do it in the hangar?

How do you fill up the Reclaimer? I get one Hammerhead clean up mission and then no more missions come. Also, often half the ship disappears after fracture now. And I've also seen where the ship gets sucked up but no construction materials get added to the buffer. The last couple of missions were a complete fail.
Well best is to tag along with playewrs who are doing ERT bounties, so after they kill them you can get in one till 5-6 full buffers of CM. And yea game is bugged now so on many servers ships when you hard death them or fracture them they disapeare. You cant do nothing about it, only try diffrent server. For me personaly its not needet to use ATLS inside Reclaimers salvage procesing room, its only 10 slots for grid for 16 SCU boxes, and I anyway ungrid all boxes. You need to spawn it before, and put it on the side so it stays in hangar. This hangar is my personal hangar, main home. But now they dont stay all the time , they dispawn, hangars are bugged. Nice, ive been doing something like this without the atls and the selfdestruct think u saved me alot of time. How do u mostly spend ur time getting boxes now? I cannot seem to find c2 or hammerhead contracts anymore, and when i did illigal hammherhead it just went away when i broke it into parts

Hello again, I tried self destruct in the hanger but just as the main ramp access came down the ship blew up and killed me and all the ship parts went down the core elevator. I was even sans armor to help me run faster. The bridge elevator is glitched currently. Which route did you use to escape the ship? Since I have an alt and a second PC I am going to try having my alt blow the ship and maybe with me nearby the ship will not drop down. After that I unloaded in space next time out to a C2 but the final size 16 crate was stuck in the poop chute and when I nudged the ship forward it immediately released into space. So maybe that is a tactic to explore more with a second or third player. Lastly when I was out later a short jump glitch damaged both the front engines to a red color plus another Reclaimer and a Vulture shot up my ship a bit and the fire and sparks were coming out. I kept going with 2 more bed logs but after that the ship would no longer start.
Yea, now thing is that that bridge small elevator it bugy, but you need to go true that elevator, then you have time to run to other side of hangar, not true big main elevator in the middle. It needs to work like that.

I tried today with just one full buffer, for testing, all off grid, parked exactly as shown in the video, blew up the ship and... nothing. All gone. Could they have made some changes with the latest patch?

Great advice and while I dont yet own a reclaimer I sure know how to use the ATLS now :) I couldnt help but notice that you are only getting 1.5k per SCU of RMC I´ve been selling my vulture hauls for 13k per SCU whats up with that? Oo
You are doing scraping with Vulture for RMC witch are around 13-14k per 1 SCU, but i was just eating entire ships for Construction materials, and they are only 1.5K 1 SCU. But if you fill up almost 7 full buffers in reclaimer(one is 240 SCU) thats around 2.4m that one run, maybe 2 hours of work. And I was eating ships from ERTs mission where someone else kill ships and I just eat after. And, thank you a lot for your response ! Woah awesome trick to get the cargo out fast. Had No Idea you can hold Z and place boxes like that! Does that work for hand held tractor beams? This makes moving cargo a lot more tolerable wow. Going to try an ATLS

In the last reclaimer solo ERT vid you mentioned that you can’t really do ERTs anymore with the ad5b changes etc. how are you filling up your reclaimer now? Are you filling it solo or with crew now? Is it viable to do lower difficulty bounties instead of ERTs to fill up on CM?
Best is to tag alson with someone who is doing just ERTs and taking cargo. After they kill ships, this ships are gonna disapeare anyway, so you can just eat them after other guys are done with killing and taking cargo. This is how we do it now. I love my Reclaimer, but they really need to move the cargo hold to the bottom, and give it a ramp or elevator to move stuff to a hanger. Dropping it out the back like that is just silly.

Good lord that ship is absolutely pathetic. The way it works is just cringe. Of all the ships that massively need a gold pass, the Reclaimer is one of the most chronic ones. 5 30K server crashes yesterday? This game will never be finished nor worth playing if they keep having all these stability issues. Massive failure on the teams part so far. Shame because the game looks beautiful & exciting, but theres not really much to do solo play and the games a massive slow moving unstable mess right now. It didn't work for me. No boxes actually came out (assuming they were destroyed) - This is in 4.0. I recommend trying this with a single cargo box if you're going to try it. (Maybe I just got unlucky)

Hey, I changed my mind about the last way we did it. The first way, where one guy sits in the cockpit and opens and closes the bank door to push the boxes out, felt wrong.
I think all the ships need is a platform that slides into the ship so it's open without that little drop for the boxes. That way, it'll be much easier.

I feel like the rear lift used to work as intended by going up and down between the salvage processing and salvage hold levels, leaving an opening to drop the boxes out. if you look at the piston arms on that lift you can see its supposed to go up, not out of the ship. I could be wrong but to me that seems like what it should do. now by going outside the ship it just gets all in the way and to me doesnt make sense. looking at the ship it seems they eventually want something to come out and slide down those rails on the belly. we can only hope they eventually get to that. Thanks for the vid!
Yes, this is connected with what you say, but if we want to have fast unload of the salvage area, it can only be underneath the reclaimer where those rails are, or the whole back side needs to open. But then this would be too high place to drop boxes. We are going to see what they are going to come up with in the future.

Also I'm pretty sure if you just tap z it'll keep you in freelook, it does it for me but may not be the default behavior. If it isn't I recommend setting it. Also binding arrow keys to look in addition to the mouse so you can look up or down while still in control of the mouseyolk without holding z.
It could be probably binded, I personaly playing only keyboard and mouse.

The poop chute has been known and used forever but it doesn't let you get larger boxes out unless you use bugs, which is stupid. They need to fix the ship so it properly works with larger crates :(

How do you unsnap a box to grid but keep it there? Couldn’t figure it out, but in the scope of things it’s a small sacrifice of the bottom layers in the Processing Room.
Before was 2 time quck pressing left click with normal tractor beam, now its probably 2 times right click.

Nice. I can't condone the fastest method of unloading the Reclaimer, but they part on using the ATLS correctly is very good. I bet it is even faster if using head/eye tracking because you can just turn your head and not need to hold Z.

Which keybind u use to move the box to the blue bp? U hold Z, look to the place okay. But which key to "push" the box to the bp? Thanks!!!!
When you hold Z, you move blueprint with just looking, and also you can scrool mouse wheel foward backward for more adjustment.

Bro where can you sell the Construction Materials? And how exactly because ive tried in Area 18 and on space stations the old way by placing the reclaimer sideways and i cant it says cant sell cargo. Also when placing the first layer do you have to lower the elevator so you can sell it at the admin office or you just leave it there not lowered sell and repeat? Thank you for the guide!
Yea, always when you put something on grid on fraight elevator, you need to lower them, so cargo is stored. Then you go to sell to admin in citiy. I didint try it now it this patch, maybe they change selling to TDD in city. But dont blow up Reclaimer to unload, that is not working anymore in Pyro patch, you going to lose cargo.

I never useing Grids for loading boxes and it worked always well to fully load the rooms of ships since boxes do no damage to the ship.

How do you fill up the Reclaimer? I get one Hammerhead clean up mission and then no more missions come. Also, often half the ship disappears after fracture now. And I've also seen where the ship gets sucked up but no construction materials get added to the buffer. The last couple of missions were a complete fail.
Well best is to tag along with playewrs who are doing ERT bounties, so after they kill them you can get in one till 5-6 full buffers of CM. And yea game is bugged now so on many servers ships when you hard death them or fracture them they disapeare. You cant do nothing about it, only try diffrent server.

i have gotten the atls inside the salvage deck as well you have to use a tractor rifle to get it thru the doorway
For me personaly its not needet to use ATLS inside Reclaimers salvage procesing room, its only 10 slots for grid for 16 SCU boxes, and I anyway ungrid all boxes.

How did you get the atls on the pad tho?? Did you have to call your reclaimer down then call your atls then call your ship back?
You need to spawn it before, and put it on the side so it stays in hangar. This hangar is my personal hangar, main home. But now they dont stay all the time , they dispawn, hangars are bugged. Just dont blow up reclaimer, you going to lose all cargo, that is old patch, outdated.

How do you get the atls to do it's unique placing mode? It always defaults to a normal tractor beam mode for me.
You need to hold Z how you see in video to make ATLS not move any more, if you think that.

Hello again, I tried self destruct in the hanger but just as the main ramp access came down the ship blew up and killed me and all the ship parts went down the core elevator. I was even sans armor to help me run faster. The bridge elevator is glitched currently. Which route did you use to escape the ship? Since I have an alt and a second PC I am going to try having my alt blow the ship and maybe with me nearby the ship will not drop down. After that I unloaded in space next time out to a C2 but the final size 16 crate was stuck in the poop chute and when I nudged the ship forward it immediately released into space. So maybe that is a tactic to explore more with a second or third player. Lastly when I was out later a short jump glitch damaged both the front engines to a red color plus another Reclaimer and a Vulture shot up my ship a bit and the fire and sparks were coming out. I kept going with 2 more bed logs but after that the ship would no longer start.
Yea, now thing is that that bridge small elevator it bugy, but you need to go true that elevator, then you have time to run to other side of hangar, not true big main elevator in the middle. It needs to work like that.
That’s OK I tried the self-destruct thing and my ship is still in one piece after destructing with all my boxes trapped inside
@@curtistemple2421The problem now is that game is bugged, which is concern our persistent hangars. If you spawn a ship, and you leave the hangar, your ship is stored, and everything else that was put on the side of the pad. So I don't know if that has something to do with all this.

Its OUTDATED, do not blow up ship. Now exsploding ship will result to destroy all boxes inside even if they not on grid.

I tried today with just one full buffer, for testing, all off grid, parked exactly as shown in the video, blew up the ship and... nothing. All gone.
Could they have made some changes with the latest patch?

I couldnt help but notice that you are only getting 1.5k per SCU of RMC I´ve been selling my vulture hauls for 13k per SCU whats up with that? Oo
You are doing scraping with Vulture for RMC witch are around 13-14k per 1 SCU, but i was just eating entire ships for Construction materials, and they are only 1.5K 1 SCU. But if you fill up almost 7 full buffers in reclaimer(one is 240 SCU) thats around 2.4m that one run, maybe 2 hours of work.
And I was eating ships from ERTs mission where someone else kill ships and I just eat after.

Woah awesome trick to get the cargo out fast. Had No Idea you can hold Z and place boxes like that! Does that work for hand held tractor beams? This makes moving cargo a lot more tolerable wow. Going to try an ATLS

In the last reclaimer solo ERT vid you mentioned that you can’t really do ERTs anymore with the ad5b changes etc. how are you filling up your reclaimer now? Are you filling it solo or with crew now? Is it viable to do lower difficulty bounties instead of ERTs to fill up on CM?
Best is to tag alson with someone who is doing just ERTs and taking cargo. After they kill ships, this ships are gonna disapeare anyway, so you can just eat them after other guys are done with killing and taking cargo. This is how we do it now.

Its not hard, you just cant be to clouse to boxes.

I love my Reclaimer, but they really need to move the cargo hold to the bottom, and give it a ramp or elevator to move stuff to a hanger. Dropping it out the back like that is just silly.

Well, we don't know how all that is going to work, but also stealing ships and taking all parts and melting them for materials gonna be a huge deal in the future. So theft is going to be profession no 1. 😁

Guys, as reclaimer owner, I need to know: where do you find the best abandoned ships to salvage ? I can’t salvage my own ships or desintegra-te any ships (mine or from others).. is that a bug in 3.24.2 ?

Good lord that ship is absolutely pathetic. The way it works is just cringe. Of all the ships that massively need a gold pass, the Reclaimer is one of the most chronic ones. Lets hope they make that happen sometime in the future. Hopefully, before the kids we haven't had yet go to college... Thanks for this info Risbo keep on the good work!

Unfortunately, the Reclaimer's wreckage does not disperse when you leaves the hangar, and reclaiming it does not help either.
It supose to be removed, atleast partial. If its not, just spawn Reclaimer, and eat those parts.

In this patch now, persistance hangars are broken, so what ever you spawn, its not staying, its always stored.

5 30K server crashes yesterday? This game will never be finished nor worth playing if they keep having all these stability issues. Massive failure on the teams part so far. Shame because the game looks beautiful & exciting, but theres not really much to do solo play and the games a massive slow moving unstable mess right now. Glitches, Bugs, Lagg and Servers crashing make this game a nightmare right now for players. Who the Fuck would give them any more money?? Excellent video Risbo on how to load cargo. The clip on the lift in question needs to be cut away. It has not been fixed. More work needed.

Well till we wont get rework on Reclaimer, this is how should be done, transporting true elevators is also pain to do, it just takes to long. And also this game is not sim, so balance need o be here, but we dont have it yet.

It didn't work for me. No boxes actually came out (assuming they were destroyed) - This is in 4.0. I recommend trying this with a single cargo box if you're going to try it. (Maybe I just got unlucky)
Yea a lot of players say that exploding unloading is not working anymore, but we don't know if they change something directly or indirectly. But you can still unload now from that back opening. That should work. I didn't try it. I don't have a pledge Reclaimer.

Why not just send the ship into storage and then go sell the boxes? I've seen people do that only.
In that time when video was made, autoselling would not work all the time, and also selling boxes witch ware not on grid was not working. And in Recliamer we always have just 10 on grid and 90 not on grid.
