As a military enthusiast, there's an inaccuracy. UH-1N (Even though it is a pop culture darling), is retired officially, replaced by T-70 (Turkish built UH60, with variants ranging from few As and Ls to locally modernised up to M standards variants). Every infantryman gets a foregrip (which also has a light on it), the handstop styled foregrip which comes out of the factory with the rifle and the magnified optic. So you get a handstop looking one at minimum, which can be repositioned back and forth along the picatinny, so you have another foregrip in case you need an extra hand holding the rifle, I suppose. Though primary cartridge for TLF is 762 still, giving Raider class a 9mm SMG, instead of a short barreled MPT-56 or 556 G3 variant, is a head scratcher. A more plausible and a cooler option, considering raider class is supposed to be Jandarma, the Turkish MP, would be the FN P90. Jandarma's SOF branch carries those quite frequently and reportedly loves the compact bullet hose. Would be a very welcome replacement, in my opinion. Lastly, a side note, the Turkish variant of the 240B/L, is reportedly being built in 2 variants: the more "typical" 600-800 RPM and another variant for MG3 loving Turks, "chainsaw" variant which runs between 900-1100 RPM. The madlads. Also MGL very based.

As a pilot. At first I didn’t like the huey because all the indicators were analog, but after I little bit of flying it might now be my favorite heli in the game
I played them a bit last night. Very strong infantry vs infantry but i think the only reliable way to deal with enemy armor is to communicate with friendly armor more effectively then most players are doing right now. It will be a nasty army to deal with if they do that.
Turkish armored vehicles have ATGM tarrets as well including even smallest Kobra 2 and infantry also uses them. I wonder why they didn't add any, perhaps they wanted to make it strong anti-infantry but weak anti-armor.
Honestly with the new factions getting pretty features it's about time old ones got some love. Like, give russian squads a PKM with no scope as a direct combat role, or a GPS minimap for US vehicles, or standalone GLs etc.
Considering the variety of armaments the Turkish Army uses in real life (both from NATO and ex-Warsaw Pact countries) it'd have been impossible for the devs to implement it accurately to real life. Some choices are odd however, the Jandarma don't normally serve in conventional warfare. They're a Gendarmerie force usually acting as law enforcement in remote areas. Their commando forces do serve in active combat, but in antiterrorism or urban combat scenarios. It's weird seeing them included in a conventional warfare force including mbts and air support.
Yeah like for example they use PKM and BTRs. Kinda similar to the Greek army using both NATO and Warsaw Pact. For example East German BMP-1s, Huey choppers and RPGs while using weapons such as HK33s, G3s and CAR-15s

Why didn’t they give them Black Hawks? Turkish Army retired them a while ago. The only Hueys left in active service are at the inventory of Turkish Air Force and mainly used for liaison duties together with other more modern helicopters.
Cause 2 factions already have it and the UH-1 is more unique
*Transparent would the the term instead of opaque. (Opaque denotes something one can't see through.)
That said, considering a content creator's production schedule, this was a solid overview!
They should have made the TB2 armed. Would be amazing
are there any proper AA assets in the game ? No IADS either, no S-300P/V and higher. Not even cold war stuff. The higher level of organization / army instead of very only small scale tactical stuff is what is lacking in my sight. As a bf 1942 enjoyer I did like the up close aerial battles, which ofc in very modern environment would be extra rare.
@@cdgncgn u can shoot down a drone with everything higher then 7.62. so u can use a .50 cal turret
@@RustyBear You wouldn't be able to see or even hear a combat drone IRL, plus to that they fly around 20k to 40k altitude so it's just impossible to shot them down with a simple machine gun, it's not a DJI tho.
@@publicname ik that. But squad isn’t realistic so why not have it fly lower
@@RustyBear 💀
TAF is retiring Hueys as we speak. They mostly operate uh-60s. Also they dont have that many sabras(m60 t). Bulk of its armor force is leopard 2a4s
Bulk of the army is m60's leopars are the best one in the inventory and sabras are the King for irregular warfare
Squad generally models factions in 2010's inventory. There is some exceptions to this if there is a balance or diversity issue. Like VDV having AK-12's BAF's Warrior with 40 mm etc. Now they did the same to TLF like UH-1H and PARS-III
@@majorduckboi If this was 2010 Turkish army %90 percent of Turkish made vehicles and weapons wouldn't be in the game. only after 2015-2017 ish period the domestic weapons became the majority
@@zahidcan 2010's not exactly strict 2010
@@majorduckboi yeah but Turkish army bought the first batch of uh 60 helicopters in 1989 and I think Turkey produced licensed copies of uh 70 or something so they love their helicopters as they always fight on mountains and same with leopards they bought them in 2005 300 or so wdym
Hoping for an Eye in the Sky gameplay between TLF and MEA so we can see who has the better Battle Rifle main.
For sure TLF
Easy TLF. MEA scopes suck balls compared to turkey and no variability.
Honestly I think the turkish rifle has worse recoil than the G3
@@Za_Hando Yeah it really does. I can't hit anything with the scope set to 4x because follow up shots are so hard to pull off.
Finally Turkish Armed Forces is here
Now there are only two things left... Hellenic army and an island map lol
Hehe boiii
Actually Mpt76 really critisized by military personnel for its kickback, but i never thought it can be that bad.
You cannot just go brrrrr with any 7.62
As a Turk I wanted this but never expected it but now im super happy with this game!
I think it’s important to mention that the Turkish armed forces mainly use 762 cal for its ability to wound enemies more effectively than 562.
Greece uses 7.62 (G3, Kefefs) as well, but still utilises 5.56 too (HK33, M4 and M16)
Who is Greece at war against? @@OperatorMax1993
I think you mean translucent magazine with the MPT-76; most mags are opaque.
Hi MoiDawg, do you know if fore grips for the TLF actually changes the weapon control? I remember reading on Reddit that fore grips were at the moment only visual.
I think I heard moidawg mention in his past videos that they actually helped with aiming and weren’t just cosmetic
the sidearm is so on pointtttttt
why is the 9mm HK got insane recoil? OWI devs never shot a single weapon
to make it balanced imo
its a mislim not cod @@toprak12231
Owi does a lot of work and we, as Turks, tried to help this work to be of better quality and sent a lot of feedback, but Owi ignored us and did his own job.
I’m sure the insurgents tried to help OWI with accuracy too 😂
@@johnokean8216 dunno if they'll accept it but you could ask to model the faction off of YPG/PKK, Talibans or Hezbollah.
only con i have is the old armory of the turkish army i wished they would have implemted the newer stuff but atleast they put the Turkish military into a game which i am thankfull of atleast
i wish they added the Leopard 2a4 which is way better than the m60 in every points and is used by the turkish army. Maybe itll come with an update
I think they went with a uniqueness > modern equipment approach
Rather have a weird Vic myself
Or the AMBT which is a m60 with era armor and a rws 30mm autocannon
@@wirb3859I may be playing to many aerial combat games, I read rws as rwr and now all I can hear is constant beeping as well as a fear of impending death.

Tested the weapons realy like em today after work it’s time to try them in practicality
Very informative! I think you should do more of these.
It's very nice, but although we have a lot of Mg3 in our inventory, we are currently using heavy automatic rifles produced by Canik and Sarsılmaz, and the BMC carriers are more modern, the ones from 20 years ago are depicted.
Not true, even the Mercedes Unimogs are still in service and widely used
We want to see another Asian Faction Like Japan, Korea (both), Indonesia or Philippines.
Indonesia and philipines lacks indigenous heavy weaponry industry so it won't be added in the base game but for mod they will be unique

Nice, they added Kanye's fans from Turkey. The TürkiYEs.
any chance you could do a video explaining how to read and use all these optics, not just for guns ofc but binoculars and artillery as well. i'm new to squad and i've got years of milsim experience but haven't really played a game where i felt like i needed to learn how to do much more than aim and shoot.
Lack of HAT will truly be devastating to the faction
having a gl with 6 semi auto shots is a bigger problem for the other factions. having mg3 as auto rifleman even without the scope is problematic. i belive the turks are going to be OP.
Yeah 3 lat kits and combat Engi with mines.. just have to use different strategies
@@alexandrecastro-q3e Saw a single T-90 kill 5 M60's in a single match today. Also saw a ZTZ win a 1vs2 fight against M60s. It depends on the map definitely. If the map allows for dominant vehicle play, turks are definitely in trouble. If the map is more infantry dominant, they are very powerful, maybe even OP. The GL is ridiculously powerful.
irl Turkish Arms Industry just only developed their first local HAT weapons, the ''Karaok'' (which is pretty much a Javelin) a few weeks ago. So it makes sense. Maybe in a future update? ruclips.net/video/JpbVnKb669c/видео.html
Honestly it also makes sense for the Turkish doctrine. For the past 40 years Turkish doctrine has been about counter insurgency up in the mountains. They didn't need a HAT.

Amazing and very informative
MPT-76 is just like the SCAR H, don't expect no recoil lol
MG with 4x-6x optic kinda OP
Middle East Alliance has MG3 with a scope ...
I guess the reason why they add the MG3 as an Automatic Rifle is because the standard rifle is also 7.62 NATO.
Wish they would optimize it so I can play the Turks with more than 30 fps
17:46 Something worth mentioning is that these LAHAT ATGMs the M60 has are actually Israeli. Might be a bit of a stretch but they could be testing stuff for the possibility of adding the IDF.
Turkish M60T's or ''Sabra'' were upgrade in cooperation with Israel, that's why they give off a Merkava vibe, so that tracks.
It’s modernized by Israel.

I’ll pay someone if they addd the CH-53K with a gau-21 as a mod for the marines
There is a lot of Turkish Manufactured guns and vehicles but its not bad thanks to the game :)
What since when TAF bought LAHAT missiles?? I would understand if we got TANOK missile developed for Altay but LAHAT? Weird
What are the best settings to make graphics as beautiful as video graphics?
Since the Milan is in the game now, could they possibly add the desert storm variant of the 30mm Warrior with the added Milan missile?

excellent video moidawg.
I wonder what the German faction mod is doing. Probably still creating custom sounds and shit, never getting done anything that actually matters.
i like their pants, very stylish
Looked forward with the GL but i didnt expect jamdarma to be really nice. The jandarma feels too light, its really fast and the gun has a low recoil, lets say 2 jandarma in a cqb against a whole squad setting up in a compound, jandarmas can obliterate that whole squad really fast because of those low recoil rifles, i don't have anything against it im just saying they're fun and really dangerous when played by really good players
Why do you have the volume so low? You should let people hear the audio of each weapon, take a quick pause, then continue your talking.
They really do need that drop down forgrip
holy shit i dont usually play grenadier but ill try this for sure
Love the vid though I think you mean trasparent magazines
They mixed up everything. Game designer needs to do more research about the Turkish army.
No they didnt. They did this intentionally. Mad cuz they also show the older tech your favourite army uses? If so, its time to self-reflect why.
