Growing up, I would go bowling at gold coast all the time because my cousins and I weren't old enough to be on the casino floors! That is where I learned how to hook a bowling ball using two fingers- one hand! Big fan of your vids and tips Darren! Keep up the good work!

Fun to find your channel Darren. My son has bowled for school now for 2 years and I'm the old fart Dad that bowled every once in a while growing up. But now he's got me going with him, said I should get my own ball, etc. I've always thrown straight but the slow mo of how you release, maybe I'll try hooking the ball! Thanks for the fun videos.

I got a widow 2.0 hybrid which I like how it carries through the pins. That pearl stock looks like the perfect compliment to that.

I went to Holiday Lanes for the first time last week for a tournament they were doing and really liked the place. Funny how I lived in Columbus and never went there before. I want to get some lesions so I have a feeling I’ll be going back for sure as they did a great job replacing some finger grips of mine. But good to see you throwing some right handed stuff too. got a point! when ur bowling league and the oil a eazy 45 foot u don't need 10 different balls like u see these amachore throw all u need is 2 spar ball to 2 preform balls and the right one for oil amd dry lanes

So I got the gold label and I love it is my favorite ball actually so if you are using summit on the top zen on the middle what would you you put in the bottom of your bag m+m hustle ? Or what’s your advice?
Comparison video suggestions: 1. Zen Gold Label vs. Virtual Energy Blackout. and 2. Summit vs. Eternity Pi. I know the 2nd one would be Symm vs Asymm, but it would be interesting to see a comparison between the two.

For an older bowler that is lower rev down and in bowler, what ball would you recommend I look at?
I have very old equipment and am bowling in a ball-of-choice league for the summer.
Hammer 3-D high-rev (original Hammer), Brunswick Python, DV8 Intesity, and WD spare ball - Current arsenal.

Videos are better when you are throwing them. Phase2 is the GOAT, i have to see more of the Summit. After 2 back surgeries in the past 3 years, Phase2 is the only one I can still throw. Love Storm though.

Can you explain what moves to make when you get a lot of ten pins. And how to flatten hand out to hit ten pins? I get a lot of ten pins and miss a lot of them by 1/8” or less all the time. Also how to tape wrist and hand to protect from injury for I’m 60 years old now

I have been using the Pitch Black to "bookend" my league nights this season. It's the first ball out of the bag and it's what I use towards the end of the night to bail me out when the lanes get weird. It is also my spare ball. I am not in PBA, so the 2024 hardness rule doesn't apply to me. Urethang on everthang! Reminds me of 1991! 😂
I managed to snag the Summit a bit early prior to it's street date. It's absolutely disgusting on the fresh and is the first ball out of my bag.
Shot my personal high in league last Sunday with 678/259 series/game with it.
Best ball to come out of SPI in a minute. When the transition starts to kick in and it starts to get TOO strong, I ball down to the Absolute. Pretty happy with my one-two at the moment.
Need a clean/weaker control piece though...

Is the Summit comparable to the Motiv Forge Ember? I am torn because they are similar in 14lbs but the Summit is a tiny bit stronger. I am looking for something strong for early-league oil that is above my Phaze 2.

Nice, but you'll find the ZGL is a better compliment to the Infinite Physix. It gets that extra angle on the backend when the Infinite physix can't turn the corner

Dumb question. So im just getting into the sport and currently have the electrify b-s-y. Im not getting a ton of movement out of it. Im tempted to buy an upper teir ball to maybe help with that. Is that a bad idea? Would buying a stronger ball help offset my lack of skill at this point in my journey? Im assuming ill bowl just as poorly with an expensive ball, correct?
