If it wasn't a legit option, then why'd they have to make it illegal for the future? Pence may or may not have "gone with his conscience", but it was well within his authority to send them back and let the states settle the dispute. He's a coward at best, a traitor at worse. He's the first option in imho.

The 2nd debate is a prime example of why you shouldn't hold "Presidential Debates" until AFTER at least 3 primaries..... that way you get rid of all the people who have already been told they have no chance. Meaning that you end up with 3-5 people AT MOST, not a mob trying to all speak at the same time.

There is certainly a better way to hold a "Debate". The first Candidate to be asked each question should be determined ahead of time with the following ones in strict rotation. Anyone who butts in or interferes with an answer loses their turn to respond, and after Three such IS REMOVED.

The debate made them all laughing stocks. The banter without showing respect for both each other, and the American public who watched is depressing. How can they hold a meeting with world leaders if they can't contain their contempt, and anger if questioned.
