When in High school in the early 1960's we had school dances to go to. We also had clubs that boys and girls would go to. We walked home from the bus stop and boys and girls talked about things going on at school or brought a girl home to listen to music that actually was on the record player, sat on the living room floor and talked about the music we liked. Then walked your girl home and maybe stole a kiss under a street light and made sure she was in her house before going back home. Who does that these days. Communication is the key.

I really don't think you appreciate the extent of the problem these days. It is true that women love confidence but there is virtually no way to show that to a woman. All the places people used to meet are gone. For young people the only way to try to meet anymore is online. You can be the most confident man in the world but if no one swipes on you, you are never going to be able to display your confidence.

The malls are still there, the road is still there, cruising Saturday nights and parking lot gathers, bonfires still exists in yards, basketball courts are there, bowling alleys, pool halls, dance clubs, and town bars, and house parties, something for every genre of people's personal taste is out here. It's the people who are afraid of contact with people who choose not to go to those places, aka no confidence. And then wonder why or complain they can't find anyone. What they have done is created a new personality and not a good one because sitting behind a phone or tablet you lose human to human skills and don't see things as real or with consequences, not to mention the mentally ill telling those doubting choices that they are normal. I've done factory work, restaurant work, construction, truck driving, been in the Navy and the Army both, a professional auto mechanic. One thing for sure. The public school system/ government needs not be involved in educating boys on how to "pick up girls".
It's simple. Children learn by examples provided by the people that happen to be their mentors. My dad never sat me down and gave me the how to pick up girls speech. What i did learn from my dad was that he had a great sense humor. He was polite and had a command of the English language. Because of all of that he was not afraid to engage people in conversation. Another issue is single mothers raising boys and there is a lot of that in America. Sorry, ladies, but you have no idea what's it like to be a boy trying to become a man. Same can be said about single fathers raising daughters. Its obviously no guarantee, but a stable household with a well grounded mother and father offers the best outcomes.

People that receive school vouchers yet have never owned property or pay property taxes are most likely going to squander their subsidy. I've never had an
EBT card issued to me but if I did, I would try to maximize its value to the max which would not be using it at my local 7-11.

I like what Tyrus has to say about keep trying. Unfortunately, for me, I've never been able to handle rejection. I get rejected and I'm done, well that doesn't work, no need to continue trying. Spend 4 years getting a degree and get turned down for a job I've trained for and I look for a job in a completely different field as it just wasn't meant to be. Ask a girl out and she turns me down, welp I guess I'm not meant to date.
