My wife chose to give up teaching to be a stay-at-home mom. We didn't have a lot, but had a good family life. She managed the budget and we did ok. Today, due to her diligent work we are able to contribute to many charities and don't want for anything.
She is deemed lazy now, by Ali baba and the 40 thieves.
The fact that modern women hate stay at home moms but love men in dresses says everything you need to know about the world we live in today.

My wife is a “homemaker”.
She also takes care of our children while I’m busy at my job.
It’s what she always wanted to do, and has told me so for many years.
I work hard, and provide financially for our family, but I wouldn’t ever want to do what she does.
It’s so much more difficult and demanding than what I do.
I thank her and appreciate her for what she does, because her job doesn’t come with a time clock or time card, she’s on the clock around the clock.
And that’s why Mother’s Day, and everyday is so special. She’s just worth it, and we celebrate her.

It was touching because he was tearfully thanking and giving his wife credit for being the wind beneath his wings. I think people missed the main point.

I was a stay at home mom. The hardest and BEST " job" I have ever had!! No moms or parents actually RAISING their children is half the problem with our COUNTRY!!!

I was incredibly blessed to be a homemaker. Never had the ‘house on the hill and never had a single regret. God is good!
I was a 'stay at home mom' for 20 years, as i raised our 3 daughters, I also had a child day care out of My home for teacher's children...and apparently, I was valuable and trustvworthy enough for them to leave their infants and toddlers in My care...I had each child from the ages of 2 months to 5 years of age ~
Raising children, is the most important and best job in the world...but the only drawback was, I was the one to see/notice each childs first:
1. tooth
2. crawl
3. hear them giggle
4. take their step
5. hear their first word

Harrison Butker is a class act, on and off the field! He lives his values! His wife and children are blessed to have him! The values are so messed up in today’s society, I am old now, but young people have no idea what it was like to grow up in the 50’s and 60’s. It was the norm for Dad to work, and Mom stayed home and cooked supper, and did the laundry, and cleaned the house. I bet lots of families would love to live like that, but it is almost impossible in today’s world. We have been sold a bill of goods. Go Chiefs!
