I think you are right on target with the door weatherstripping. I run mine with the doors on (in the winter) and bikini top year round. With the heater working properly, I thing the Bronco does a good enough job blocking the wind and keeping the inside warm enough.
we have to keep in mind these broncs are 1960s technology, plus they came out as a utility vehicle ONLY, ,SO your not going to get a cadilac ride or comfort BUT they are still the coolest buggy on the road even today,& their prices reflect that,
Nashville Early Bronco Yes but in July when it is 118 degrees you will have your turn to gloat. My video will be on how not to die from heat stroke in your Bronco.
All these comments make me laugh about not driving your Bronco in the the snow. Yes salt is hard on vehicles, but can be washed off. All these hipster “enthusiasts” should have seen where their beloved Bronco was 20 years prior. It was probably beating up and down a gravel road by some farmer who was just trying to make a living.
Please for the love of broncos around the world, do NOT drive your broncos in the salty slick dangerous snow/ice! Besides, a short wheelbase high center of gravity vehicle is horrible on snow or ice.
It's just the opposite, these are fantastic in the snow. I drove a 74 for years in the snow and loved it. I even plowed snow with it. I miss driving an early bronco in the winter.
Terry Sharp I had a 78 f150 that I was driving several years ago in the snow having a big time, and WAM! Got rearend by and bent the frame, destroyed the bed and cab. All while my daily driver was sitting at home that I could have drove!
Hopefully everyone was ok. The 78 F150 is a great year too, it's a shame it got wrecked. That's probably the biggest problem of driving them in the snow, the other drivers.
I am currently working on my Bronco, my first. When I reupholstered the seats, I put in seat warmers. Also, added vintage heat and air.
Seat warmers! Genius!
Nashville Early Bronco and at less than $40 for both seats, it was too cheap for me not to do.
Seriously! That’s going on the list
Hogfan3019 where did you get them?
Ryan Duwe , I found them on Amazon. They are just the warmer pads, generic. Cut to fit your size. Comes with wiring and switches.
we just got rid of about 5 inches of snow here in Joplin Mo, had to take out my 79 and do a little playing in the snow too!
Nice!

Awesome vid
Sorry Jon but we've got clear skies and 75 degrees. When are you going to do the AC tune up video? Or the tube door conversion?
Haha! Lucky!!!

😂😂
You should install a shoulder belt. It would keep your ribs from meeting the steering wheel at a high rate of speed. If ever in an accident ;)
Yeah that’s on the list for sure
Ribs? How about face? Gotta keep the money-maker safe!
The bronco is the money maker, let’s be honest
That’s on my list for this weekend.
Smashing your face into the steering wheel? I'd advise against it, actually.
That hat is amazing!

Haha! Man that’s so true! Get out and drive your Bronco! Have fun in it! But in all seriousness, that salt did cause some rusting under the bronco 😉
pb blaster fluid film ...go to town on the under carraig
That’s a good idea
I think you should just put some caulk in the gap of the drivers side door.
That would be a lot of caulk!
I hope they don’t salt the roads there. A single exposure can be devastating.
Cool hat Jon. (Get it? Cool....) Ah, nevermind.
Haha! Good one
Says it's cold but he doesn't but on a jacket... 😉
I thought it would warm up quicker in the bronco 🤷♂️
I drive with a blanket.
Confessions of a real man
Nashville Early Bronco lol yeah maybe, but it helps talk my lady into riding in it too.
Haha I bet!
