I am a caretaker for my mother who has an incurable cancer. We watched this morning and didn’t have any plans today so we immediately got up and made this cake. We just now finished eating our first piece and can swear it’s really delicious. I wish we had some vanilla ice cream in the house to go with it because, dang, it’s rich. Being in our situation, Angie’s story really hit home. Best wishes to you, Debbie, and all of Angie’s family and friends.
Mrs. Lori: Thank you for your channel and this wonderful recipe with it's tribute to Angie. She is indeed beautiful. Even more so now that she is with our Lord. Mrs. Lori, I want to ask you for prayer. I live in Madison County, Florida. Yesterday, we were hit by a Category 3 hurricane. The authorities said that 99% of this county is without power. Temperatures have been in the hundreds for the last 2 months. This area looks like a war zone. It will take quite some time for repairs to be made. Hotels here have no room or power. We are in a state of emergency and we need prayer. If you can find it in your heart to pray in agreement with Mr. Brown and those of us in this situation, it would be so greatly appreciated. I am praying for a quick resolution and in the meantime, cooler weather. I don't think the storm will harm nearly as many as this oppressive heat. God Bless and Keep you and your precious family.
Ohhhh Hello !!!! What a wonderful show. Thank you for sharing this recipe and the story. It’ll go in my recipe-box as “Angie’s Awesome Chocolate Cake” and I’ll always tell the story over the dinner table whenever I serve it. And then, Angie will live on, and everyone will know how much her mother loved her. The coffee is a wonderful ingredient... but it’s the story and the love that goes into it that makes it so special. Thank you again, Miss Lori.
Hi everyone, such a touching and sentimental tribute. I lost my older sister several years ago to breast cancer and she donated her body for research at Texas A/M University...She was 54...Such a young age...this brought tears to my eyes and I miss my sister very much...but I know I will see her again in heaven when our Lord returns...Everyone have a Blessed Wednesday and please be ready, our Awesome Lord will return after everything takes place...and we must pay attention....God Bless everyone...🐾🥀♥️🙏✝️

I made Angie's Chocolate Cake this morning about 2:30am bcuz I couldn't go back to sleep. After watching your video, I knew that I had to try it. So, I'm waiting for the cake to cool completely, then I'll frost it(and the frosting is decadent and delectable), and have a slice for breakfast! Thank you ma'am for sharing this recipe, and I'm sorry for your loss.
OMG!!! How beautiful you have given kudos to Angie. I am looking forward to making this cake. I have a recipe since the 1970's with the recipe for pound cake with coffee. Makes you die for.
I always use instant coffee or espresso powder when I am making a chocolate cake or brownies. I also add real vanilla extract if I am using brownie mix. This elevates the flavor so much!

Thank you. Enjoyed the beginning, middle and end.💕
Oh my! Looks like a WONDERFUL chocolate cake, especially for a certified chocoholic. And an awesome remembrance for Angie. Let your friend Debbie know that this cake and her daughters story will be made and told in quite a few new places. Thank you and Mr. Brown for your wonderful page. My husband asks me every time I'm watching it "Are you hungry yet". Lol and my answer is always YES!!! I haven't watched anything yet that doesn't sound and look delicious.
That looks delicious! What a special story. Sad she was taken so young . Lost my Daddy to lung cancer in 2015 . His favorite was my moms Rocky Road

You are so welcome
Just love u and your family enjoy your channel makes me happy and have learned lots Thankyou
I always put coffee in chocolate cakes. It really makes a difference in flavor. RIP, sweet Angie........❤❤❤
