I don’t think there’s an actual Admamic/Original language in the religious sense, but I love listening to this, in the same way I love listening to Norse mythology. It’s very compelling and interesting and just enough supernatural tint to make you wonder.

@@Raglinsportal The language itself might not be similar, but everything surrounding the writing system looks like it was made by a conlanger who only has an English frame of reference. The order of letters is suspiciously like English's, and the fact that one letter makes both the k and s sounds, another makes both hard g and j sounds, and yet another makes a ks sound just kinda indicates to me that whoever made it just took the English alphabet, made new symbols, and trimmed down the number of letters used.

I actually flew into a yelling rage as soon as he mentioned the illiterate maid using part some pages of the notebook for kindling. That made me so, so angry. How much invaluable knowledge have we lost throughout history out of sheer ignorance, even if innocent?

It seems to me that if someone was communicating with angels over a period of years, that there would be an incredible amount of knowledge that could be shared with humanity. All we are getting from this video, and maybe originally from Dee and Kelly, is codes and keys for an angelic language. We never actually learn anything. It's be like knowing that Shakespeare wrote hundreds of plays, but only being told that he wrote in English, and English was going to be revealed via obtuse and difficult codes, and we never get the plays.

I praise the exact same aspects of MrMythos every single time I watch anything he does. It makes me want to found an esoteric Oxford equivalent and hire him as the first professor. The level of research required to plummet the depths of history, objectively, in this way would no doubt round out to quite a few Ph.D's, which we would likely find he actually holds! If my guy, here, turns out to even be of this plane of existence! Future Cult Leaders Unite and Takeover....I'm seriously just joking about that last statement. (probably..lol)

There is so much truth in that. The Book of Thomas, which had been hidden away/lost/protected, was only direct quotes from Jesus. Included in that text was the correct way to pray. Whatever you need to manifest, will. If you go to the place where it already exists, fully embracing the reality with unified emotion from your heart, and mental visualization intertwined, your circumstances will manifest your will. However, thankfullness, deep gratitude, and the CONVICTION, not belief, that it has already transpired are very necessary components in the petitioner's heart and mind. If one is asking for something to be, it's the same thing as saying it is not.
That won't fly. You cancel yourself out with the mere suggestion that it is not already so.
Jesus said that no one had ever even asked His Father, up to that point, for anything of the kind. He went on to assure His listeners that even mountains can be made to lie down flat by this method.
That's huge! lol Literally, in the case of shifting mountains!
Whether this is merely the Universe and the way that it works, or this is from a creator God, or maybe they are one in the same, or a creator God's design on the Universe....I don't know those mysteries. I do know, however, that this was an understanding I learned from my Mother. This was how we prayed before we'd ever heard of a book of Thomas. I ultimately abandoned religion, fearing it was indoctrination. I figured in order for it to worship a diety, or to be any good at all, anything faith based needed to be mine, at my behest, and my own journey. This was to take a very long time, and the process was both ignorant and erudite, and riddled with both misunderstandings and revelations.
Like the hypocrite that I am, I continued to pray from my atheist foxhole during particularly difficult times in my life. Professing my hypocrisy, and confessing to what amounted to blasphemy as I sent up requests for some fairly critical outcomes during my life.
Apparently, because I pray in the above mentioned manner by default, and whatever it is that arranges the granting of petitions isn't bothered by the ancillary short-comings with which I was irreversably afflicted, my greatest, seemingly impossible requests, (which definitely included the occasional miracle), were granted. Like, every time.
My Mom says God gave me a direct hotline. She loved the irony of her atheist daughter begrudgingly possessing more than a handful of what Christians refer to as "Gifts of the Holy Spirit".
She reckons I was born with them, based on the fact that I used some of them without being told about them as early as the age of three. (all I did was call out to my "Heavenly Father," a phrase I HAD heard every adult I knew use, and ask that He release my Mommy from her headache.) It was even selfishly motivated because I was trying to get her to come play with me!
She recounts, as I vividly remember, laughing out loud when I said this, which offended me endlesslly. I felt my face go hot with embarrassment. God stuff was a serious business to my little mind, and you had to behave when dealling with God stuff. I huffed off, certain that she'd screwed it all up by laughing.
But, she followed me, saying, "Baby, don't be upset. My headache went away the very instant I laughed. Our God is a joyful God, and we are meant to delight in His worship and the gifts we recieve from Him." I was still shocked that she had been so inappropriate, but, she came to play with me, so I got over it quickly. To this day, if somone asks her to pray for them, she pulls me in to the effort.
Not too long ago, I discovered that the Book of Thomas even existed, and you could have knocked me down with an angel feather when I read what Jesus' instructions were. It was a supernatural sort of, "Oooooohhhh, I get it, that's how I was doing it!" It makes it all the more mysterious that my fifth son is named Thomas! It's just interesting to me that whatever is in command is willing to let a disbelieving peyon question it, and still afford me grace and gifts that I have largely failed to employ unless I was in a real spot of bother.

I thought the Enochian letters kinda looked familiar, then I realized that they used this language (or some variation of it) in Madoka Magica. The names of the witches are spelled out using Enochian letters/symbols...which makes the ending to the anime even more mind-blowing.

Arriving in England by train in 1589 was certainly the most impressive achievement of Dee's entire career by thos account, since the locomotive engine wasn't invented for at least another 213 years (Trevithick, 1802). ['train' in Dee's instance probably relates to a baggage train of people and animals, wagons and carts travelling in column with a guard of soldiers for their mutual security.]

What an interesting documentary, loved every minute of it . I think that Edward Kelley may not have actually spoken to angels , he may have seen fallen angels coz he once was a necromancer , there is a high possibility that because of this , he interacted with other beings instead of the archangels . N the reason why he told John Dee of the 'angel's' request that they share everything was simply to end their partnership . I don't think angels would make such a request , wouldn't that be sin? I simply see that Edward approached John Dee to use that opportunity for wealth and fame as Mr. Mythos stated in the video , it was all in his plan to get to where he wanted to be , known as a famous alchemist n living a luxurious life . His tragic death was his karma for all that he had done . In my homeland we say, ' Malipo ni hapa duniani ' , a Swahili saying meaning that everyone gets his own karma for the actions the do before they die .
After this documentary I can’t help but feel sad and sorry for John Dee as I feel he was 100% fooled by Kelly. The amount of damage he did to the poor man …and to make matters worse to have his house and library completely destroyed over a fake thing. Heartbreak.

I always saw angels as God's soldiers. The soldiers in our military can be mischievous, deceitful, flirty, out looking for a good time, when they're not on duty.
I think Dee was approached by a fallen angel when praying and Kelly made up the wife swapping so he could end the friendship and do his alchemy.

@@supernalbjj the word humanity refers to white people, the different races are not different races but different species (like the Lion and tiger, both are similar and can interbreed, yet are separate species).
If you look closely at the descriptions of the nephilim as giants, and you take into consideration the skills of metallurgy (among others) taught to the inhabitants of the planet. Then it all lines up. The skills taught were those spread by ancient indo European cultures (from which modern white people descend). It would explain why throughout history "white" people have had disproportionate skills in the aforementioned fields compared to other people groups, and it also explains the remains of what we would call giants (who had European phenotypical traits such as red or blonde hair).

Without "vetting" the "Angels", how could he know whether it wasn't demons impersonating the Angels of Heaven, or not.
Especially since the book of enoch has quite a few flaws that do not align well within the canon books.
He did get the angels, they mentioned that later on in the documentary, how he vetted them extensively in his journals.
Because demons don't exist, and neither do angels. Everyone knows this, they just have varying levels of commitment to pretending otherwise.

I want to think that Kelly was actually talking to real angels at first, but then when Dee started to piss him off, he wanted to get at him, and so he lied to him that "Angels like... totally told me that we have to exchange wifes, and like share everything alse", and when they actually did that angels were pissed of, and that's why the rest of their lifes were pretty shitty...

You know, I've always thought of the crossmatching incident similar to Abraham and Isaac--a testing of a human's moral strength. Dee and Kelley both failed. Sometimes a malicious order is given just to see who has the ability to defy it and prove their righteousness/worthiness.

I respectfully disagree. In Abraham's example, for all intents and purposes he **did** go through with it, or **would have** at least. God stepped in at the last moment as he was about to do it.
God didn't step in to stop Dee and Kelley.
My point being, if they failed then so did Abraham, since he was prepared and willing to sacrifice his son, and would have if not for God intervening.

@@noone3216 But God did see the reluctance that Abraham was about to commit with the sacrifice before he intervened? I think that was the whole point of the test, to see if Abraham had it in his heart to go through with the act despite his soul screaming not to. People in ancient times were vastly different to what they were in the 1500's, hence people during Dee and Kelley's time were supposed to learn the lesson from Abraham and apply it to their sessions.

@@MrMythos Thank you for this wonderful work! I found myself wanting to know more about it all! Near the end, you say most of John Dee's Enochian knowledge was not accessible to the Golden Dawn and therefore is a seperate, divergent system of magic. Does this nullify the Golden Dawn's and later Crowley's magic ties with Hermeticism? Also, I would love it if you created a similar video on the Golden Dawn and Aleister Crowley.
Not a believer myself, but I love the historical aspect of a lot of theological incidents throughout.
To really understand history requires a working knowledge of the religion of that time and place. I get irritated when people make disparaging remarks about religion after videos like this one. I'm not a Hindu but I need to know about Hinduism to understand a documentary about ancient India. And no one would be mocking Hinduism. People get so caught up in secularism that they forget the inseparable connection between religions (not just Christianity) and history.

This is truly a fascinating subject. I love learning about language-related subjects. If only humans could truly have such knowledge, but perhaps it is simply not for us to know. I find it interesting that when Dee and Kelly asked for the Book of Enoch, they were allegedly given the tablets instead. Sort of a, "It's not what you want, but it's what you need," sort of thing. I may have to ask for this dictionary for my birthday in December this year! I actually do see some similarities to Pantheus' script. One of the letters is the same, and some other Enochian letters look like some of Pantheus' symbols altered or turned around in some way.

I believe that Dee & Kelley both unknowingly communicated with the dark forces. They are tricky that way. I find it unbelievable God's Angels would ask them to share everything, adultery.

I once heard my mother spoke a language I was so fascinated hearing. My mother used to be visited by invisible creatures as she describe them since she was young. It was only once that I heard her speak such a weird but felt like most efficient and out of this world weird language. My mother was asleep when I woke up bec of her talking loud. Benjamin Wooley's 'The Queens Conjurer' for an in-depth historical perspective and Lon Milo Duquette's 'Enochian Vision Magick' for a fully theoretical & practical guide to their practice of angel communication. They produced some great books, every bit as strange and prophetic as Kelley's. In all of these works is a name, 'Babalon'. The first time Kelley heard it he went running out into the street screaming with his sword drawn. You have to understand, these experiences can knock a man right off balance. Enochian language is impressive to reach its meaning perseverance one day a child will tell the world what it means in a language that no one understand but that will be a story in another, in another place.
Dream on it is not as it appears. You are dealing with magic here, language itself is an illusion. Those who win the war write the history. Some peple do not like change, some do and some create the change. They were predecessors to bring into the world not talking about sex. A type of energy that had to be restored as a forerunner for something else of greater communication between "god and man ". It was the forerunner for Silican valley, Technology. This stems from an ancient pre - Mesopotamian period peoples and "angelic beings". Quite intense indeed.
Stuff like what Kelly and Dee did can be pretty damn freaky sometimes. The sheer amount of effort that Kelly had done to decipher and translate while also performing the apparent Enochian language seems WAY too ambiguous to be the life’s work of a grifter.

On December 2020 I bought a book that claimed to teach you how to perform Enochian magick using this alphabet, but you had to follow a set of short and simple rituals ever day for a year. 2020 had actually been a pretty good year for me, but I wanted to improve certain areas of my life. I'm not new to magick and have had some relative success with it so I thought on giving this a try.
I followed the rituals for almost 8 months, but although the book claimed to bring you happiness and success I met nothing but depression, financial struggle, health complications and artistic blocks. It was the worse year of my life. I was so down I thought about ending things. So I stopped doing the rituals, got rid of the book, and slowly but surely got my life back on track.
It took me until recently, october 2022, to be well of mind, body and spirit again.
What ever these entities are, they are not angelic, and I will strongly advice everyone to stay clear from doing any kind of enochian magic unless they want to loose their minds and everything they own, just like it happened to Dee and Kelly. I was lucky to get out on time.
In reality, edward kelly and john dee's experience was most likely true and actually happened and wasn't a hallucination, however they would not of been angels, they would of been demons pretending to be angels. This was not from God
My opinion is the Angels where the fallen Angels. That gave in to their lustful desire. And took wives and had children. With the daughters of man. I just don't believe that an all knowing deity. Would hand his creation. The words he used to speak them into being. Nor do I think God would. Ask men to break the marriage Covent. Why would Angels need to open heavens gates. Problem is, everything we know about Dee and Kelley's relationship with Enochian comes from the men themselves (primarily Dee). These were exceptionally clever fellows. If they had simply made Enochian up whole cloth, they'd hardly have recorded that fact. They'd have come up with a riveting supernatural origin story littered with details intended to downplay the possibility of any fakery. Who's to say they didn't? Nobody, because there are no other primary sources on the process. Dee is too often assumed to be a naive innocent in the thrall of con man Kelley. You don't need ill intentions or a criminal past to pull off a *pious* fraud, though.
THIS right here. Oh he spoke to Angels? Yes he did. And did anyone see this besides you two? Well,no, but you can trust us. Oh, well, my life IS devoid of meaning..OK!
But my question here is why would they go to such an elaborate length to then never fully translate or accomplish anything concrete from it?
This would make sense with the idea that they were international spies, as well. Pass themselves off as nomadic noble seekers but perhaps were spying in the courts. You'd think they'd have better treatment back home if that were the case, though.

This was so good. It cleared up some of the misconceptions of John Dee that I had.
I’m no expert on the subject but if the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn did in fact possess several of John Dee’s original journals on his life long mission to uncover the Celestial Language, the mental and spiritual connection of Man to Heaven and the Angels and everything else in between, then I full hardily believe his claims to be very much anchored in reality. I say that because the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn truly were in possession of ancient lost knowledge that binds science, religion, and what we know as real magick. If some of there teachings did come from sections of John Dee’s personal notes than I 💯 % believe it’s real. There really is an almost forbidden secret knowledge known by some of the ancients that has been passed down through the ages that only several handfuls of people know about today. This was a fantastic video full of really exceptional information. I’m going to continue my research and I’m definitely going to check back in and watch more of your content. Keep up the great work! The so-called documents possessed by the Golden Dawn are suspect as they exhibit concepts not originally derived from the tablets, a great majority of the material was contrived.
I've started learning ceremonial magic with a heavy Golden Dawn influence using some low level Enochian language. I can say that in performing the kabbalistic cross ritual there was an immediate change in my awareness of self, and of the atmosphere in my sanctum - so far, and whether it's down to the language or solely the ritual or intent I can't say, my experience has been real and positive.
My heart just breaks for John Dee 😭💔 such terrible end because of ignorance. Make no mistake. Ignorance is the greatest and worse sickness ravaging our planet. When I think of that maid using pages of Dee's precious work to light up fires, my eyes fill with tears 😭💔😭
Some people with dull perspective and ignorance shoes as they have no respect or regard; as they are mentality impaired. Dee's notes remind me of my own notes made as I went through a deep thought study of meanings and origins of words and names over the past 30 years. I feel that even the english language is intrinsically connected to all knowledge from the beginning just like the way math has blossomed from simple to quantum expressions used to explain modern time views today. Amazing, the knowledge is in us to seek and find any answer to any question we may have. the kingdom is within us all. We only have to open ourselves up to inside inherited knowledge from whole line of ancestors from whom we have all our inherited traits like eye colour, hair colour, etc.

The train reference was my mistake. My source stated that Dee "arrived in England with a huge baggage train and protected by a guard of twenty soldiers". While juggling all the other details for the video, it went over my head that Dee didn't actually arrive by train, and a "baggage train" is not actually a train (See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_(military) )
