@@camerasam1 My most recent ancestors from Ireland came from Castlelyons in County Cork and Crossmolina in County Mayo -- those would be my 2nd- and 3rd-great grandparents, I believe. Farther back, I have ancestors from Ballymagauran in County Cavan. There were a few other places where more distant ancestors came from, but those are the main ones I know of. I've never been, but it's my dream to visit one day, not only those areas but to visit friends who live in County Wexford. I can imagine than when I do, I'll be taking thousands upon thousands of pictures and might not want to leave. Ha!
Jeepers you started in the south Cork moved up the west coast to Mayo then moved further North west to Cavan then you moved over to the sunny south east to Wexford . You have basically covered the whole Island. And yes I think you would make a lot of photos from the south and west of Ireland in particular west and southern Ireland the wild Atlantic way . The people and the landscape all effected by the rough Atlantic weather, though when the sun shines there is no where better . Hopefully you make it some day. 🙂
