- This quick video is in response to a comment on my previous video (linked below) and describes how I rig my knife jigs and eddie bombs for bluefun tuna. I forgot to include that I use Owner hyperwire #10 split rings.
Here is the video where you can see my rig in action: • BLUEFIN TUNA ON KNIFE ...
cool video, good information is always helpful thanks.
Thank you for watching. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
good job reviewing
Nice video. Thank you
Bend that polkadot rip roller back and use it again. It’s still good. These bend when they bring fish over the rail and jig gets stuck below. Happens all the time.
I considered doing exactly that and have no reservations about fishing it again. Although I am planning on keeping it as a momento from this trip. If push comes to shove, we are gonna fish it again but for now it is retired. I believe it got bent from the amount of fish it put on the deck. Thank you for the comment and the support!
😅 if your jig is bent, just lay it on the rail and smash on the bent part to straighten it. Super easy, try it.
Thanks for the comment and watching the vid! I'll use it again when I need it.
nice video , how do you like that tranx 500, do you mind doing a video on your full setups reels rods ,line etc.?
I like the tranx 500 especially for poppers. I'll be glad to do a video of the rods and reels I take with me. Thanks for asking and watching the videos!
Do you notice and difference in hook up rate whether you use one large Jobu hook or two smaller Monster assist hooks on the bottom?
So are you tying your braid to the top of leader swivel or do you crimp big mono?
Hello, where can i find Fish Karma leaders? They look great.
They can be found on Facebook. Send them a message and they should respond quickly.
Can you please post the link to Fish Karma
Hi here is the link. facebook.com/thefishkarma
Where you get the red jig?
The ones in my bag right now were purchased last year (or the year before) from one of the landings or the local shop here in Phoenix. I'm not too sure the color matters at all, as long as it sinks fast and gets in front of them.
Those aren't "safety lines"
