We didn't know he could do comedy. (There were several dramatic actors dropped in to shock us, it worked) & Both actors, Beau & Jeff Bridges are his sons. The sons did a film together called "The Fabulous Baker Boys" w/Michelle Pfeiffer. 👍

The piano singing scene was from the movie The Fabulous Baker Boys which ironically stars Lloyd Bridges 2 sons Beau and Jeff Bridges. The food sex scene is from the movie 9 1/2 Weeks. This movie was absolutely amazing. Loved to see your reaction to it. It's been such a long time I saw this movie that I laughed at all the jokes again. Hot shots part deux has an amazing joke delivery regarding "not being a stranger to pain" that my father still uses to this day. So it's also a memorable movie for me. Looking forward to you guys seeing that part!

Can't wait until you do Hot Shots Part Deux as it features arguably the greatest cameo and meta moment ever which goes deeper than Inception levels at least 4 jokes/references in one joke.

The "sensual singing on the piano" is a parody of The Fabulous Baker Boys (a movie of the time with Jeff Bridges and his brother Beau Bridgers - incidentally their father plays Admiral Benson here). The "sex involving food stuff" scene is a parody of 9 1/2 weeks, a very famous hit movie from the late 80s, with Mickey Rourke (then a hearthtrob) and Kim Bassinger (then considered the ultimate Hollywood bombshell). And of course Admiral Benson is a parody of 2021-2023 era president Joe Biden.

The actor is Lloyd Bridges. He is the father of Jeff Bridges (Big Lebowski, Tron) and Beau Bridges. The brothers made a film, "The Fabulous Baker Boys" which is spoofed in Hot Shots with the piano singing scene.

This is why I love you guys! Your unabashed delight at the fantastic silliness, appreciation of Lloyd Bridges and your uncomfortableness with the sex scene made this the best reaction. I hope you can do more spoof movies- Hot Shots Part Deux, and Dracula Dead and Loving it, are two I would recommend.
