My mom is allergic to them, however despite that when I had a severe bladder infection that went into my blood stream almost killed me, despite everything I went through, she knew I was worried about being able to take care of my pets when I got home. I needed someone with me after I got home for three nights, and well.... despite my mom's allergies to cats she took care of them and gave them hugs and pets, played with them and let them lay in her lap, same with my dog. And she was telling em' how I needed my rest and for my cats and dog to come to her for anything so I can get rest and recover, it was an beautiful bonding sight. I'm alive thanks to my dog and one cat, as my heart was erratic and was going into shock in and out of consciousness they did everything thing they could to keep me awake and focused on them and not fall asleep till help came, they knew my life was in danger and were there to help. My doctor said if it wasn't for my dog Hana and her kitten Hinata alerting me and keeping me awake I could have died. I owe my life to my dog her baby kitty.
What a great mom! Also, I had a kidney infection that was on the verge of going septic when I was finally convinced to go to urgent care, so I know how out of it and weak you can feel. It was so bad I needed an immediate antibiotic shot in my...yeah. Super embarrassing, I should've gone sooner.

IF mom wants to continue loving pets, kitties especially. You can do allergy shots to help with that! I've always been allergic but didn't care. I LOVE cats so will always have one around. Allergy shots help A LOT!

I think most people who "hate cats" just haven't spent enough time around them to really know what they're like.
But cats and kittens are also a difference - so the kittens are just to be loved - but that doesn't have to mean that the person then also likes the adult cats.
What I can't understand why you can't like animals at all - I would have more of a problem with people.
@@christiang.9485 True, but as you watch a kitten grow, they develop their personalities and that is a draw as well. You get to know their likes and dislikes and their quirks and just how funny adult cats can be.
Agreed. I was once one of those people. I had been around some nasty cats as a kid. But that all changed when one of my friends in hs got a cat, so sweet. Then I lived with some friends who had a cat. I love cats now.

I was this way too until my daughter’s cat climbed on my bed, rested his head on my shoulder and I fell in love.

my mom said she hated cats for 15 years. Then a friend dropped a kitten over my house. Not only did the kitten immediately seek my mom out and MAKE her love her... but my mom caved within 24 hours.

Cats are the BEST!!! The feral I brought in has feline leukemia and everyone including the vets thought she was fixed because of the notched ears and scar BUT I guess they didn't get everything because she just had ONE beautiful kitten. He's so darn cute!!!

my cat's favourite toys listed by preference 1) long ribbon, he likes the silky feeling running through his paws 2) fishing rod attached fish is large enough for him to beat up and walk away with it in his mouth, added bonus is the multi ribbon tail of said fish, tennis ball, this is his "im gonna kill it" toy, when he gets over zealous he grips this on his side and works his back legs in a frantic death grip, most entertaining, also keeps hands safe and non bloody :) hello mum from Somerset UK

Cuteness overload! Why are the big cats not so friendly? I had a cat named Misty, and she was recently a mother. I had her for a few weeks until I got a little kitten. I couldn't believe it when I saw the big cat letting the kitten feed from her. It was so precious, but heart breaking at the same time because it made me wonder if she missed her kittens.
Of course, she missed the It is cruel to take kittens before age 10 weeks.
@@oliviawutam It is, I agree. I think it's better to wait at least 12 weeks, but people seem anxious to "get rid of " kittens as soon as possible, and people seem to want to adopt them when they're as tiny as possible. It's not right.
@@andrewvernon4664 A kitten should be at least 12 weeks, Before that they are not emotional ready. If they are a rescue kitten and they need to be saved I guess they can be smaller.

It’s cute now, but it won’t be so cute if she’s still biting your hand as an adult! Instead, whenever she starts biting your hand to play, you should give her a toy instead (a crumpled up piece of paper will do). That way she learns that your hand is not a toy. She’s such an adorable baby!

Since xuni didn’t get angry she will act as her mom teaching her cat manners because orphan kittens sometimes develop a bit of behavioral problems like biting hands and feet which they can carry with them as adults because they lacked the education of a mama cat. Plz do not use your hands to play fight with her as she will keep on biting hands when she grows up. . Beautiful kitten with a strong personality. Thanks for saving her.
