Good point, as it has already been done by the Obama administration. The only thing that thwarted the plan was the opposition party had control of the senate they sat on the conformation of his nominee until his term expired. The incoming POTUS (Trump) nominated Gorsuch. The rest is history.

Let these idiots find out because he's a States rights kind of guy if they voted for trump his policies will effect the people that voted for this he doesn't mess with the Democrat states as much as he says because he doesn't have as much power in it.
So if one of the red states voted for this guy they need to be thinking about getting passports because these states would probably be war zones. Banning women's reproductive health was one of the ways to keep women and children out of these places. I'm also not on social security if anything he would lower my taxes if he cut social security because I'm not on this program sometimes democrat are more likely to work and pay taxes that's probably why he doesn't mess with them that much because he does a lot of his business in new york he doesn't want to lose support from them. He also used to be a Democrat and it's sad that these Republicans are still so sure that he wants to protect them. When most of these bans were bans they placed on there own party. They were the ones abusing the system if you really look at it that's why he's punishing people because people that kissed his ring will be the most effected why do they think Mike pence stopped endorsing him? He keeps his enemies close enough to were he can manipulate them into thinking he's here to save them when those are the ones he's trying to destroy. So this isn't just about what party you voted for it's about doing what's right because a vote for trump is like voting for Hitler.

@peterkobayashi6755 - Well no according to Alito. Not having immunity would increase their chances of staging a coup at the end of their term so that they can avoid accountability for crimes they committed while in office. For example, say they attempted a coup, then not getting immunity for the coup attempt would increase the odds for a President to attempt a coup, not withstanding the fact that he would have already attempted a coup. Talk about a circular and tautological argument. SC Chief Justice talked about a tautological argument today, yet seems oblivious to (or just willfully chooses to ignore) Alito's tautological argument.

Most of us sane people are, because the autocratic sickness is evident. This should NOT involve politics, and it should NOT be transactional as it appears to be. No previous president has needed immunity and no president should have it. Mr. Trump is a convicted criminal who became president. If there are restrictions, it should be upon the person running. Trump isn't qualified to flip burgers in a mall according to the questions put to supervisors at the mall. How then can he possibly be qualified to be president? He isn't, and his presidency clearly showed he was not. A leader has to be able to delegate. Trump claimed l alone can fix it. He couldn't and didn't. We do NOT need a repeat.

The Supreme Court unjustly gave the 2000 election to George W. Bush. His presidency was bad enough but also laid the foundation for further radicalization and corruption of the republican party. The unfairly partisan 2000 SC decision paved the way for MAGA and Trump. So the corruption of the Supreme Court is not all that new. And something you guys should really fix because it has been working against democracy and the rule of law for a few decades now.
