      @@GetReadyforGameNight Your content is great, you plan doing anything more of this sort?

      @maestro7058 it's unlikely unless I get a large number of requests. My day job is in healthcare, and during the pandemic, I was working 100+ hours a week. And now a days there are dozens of "professional" board game tutorial channels that can put out content much faster than I ever could. Those 2 things pretty much killed my channel. I haven't posted a video in years.

      @@GetReadyforGameNight ahhh that's sad to hear! And ye totally understood and understandable sir! Well I would say that your structure is very detailed and overall style does provide big value. Aside from Watch It Played and maybe Becca Scott's tutorials I would say I see no huge competition, but of course it depends on what game you wish to teach and it is a bit of a smaller product I get it, but maybe hey like a review or something? Anyway I subbed just to support!

      @maestro7058 that is VERY high praise to be compared with those two youtubers! You are too kind.

    Are you sure about Holy grail?
    This is copy/paste from rulebook: At any time during the game, if a Knight falls to zero Life points and is about to die, the owner of the Holy Grail may decide to let him drink from the Grail instead.
    So you can’t use Holy grail anytime. Only when (if) a Knight falls to zero life.
    Anyhow, I love your video! Great job!

      @GetReadyforGameNight  5 лет назад +1

      You are probably right! I have not played this game in several years now, so I'd have to review the rulebook to be sure, but I'm confident that you are correct. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks. I am actually thinking of buying the game, have yet to play it, but I love Arthurian theme and cooperative / semi-cooperative games. However, I am not sure if I should get it, because the Merlin's company is out of stock and I am unable to get that, so I really don't know if it is worth it to invest to the game if there is a real chance not to get the expansion, ever. Any thoughts?

    • @GetReadyforGameNight
      @GetReadyforGameNight  5 лет назад +1

      I rarely play with the Merlin's Company expansion. If the theme and mechanisms appeal to you, I'd recommend just getting the base game and having fun with it.

      Jeremy Berger Awesome! If you have any questions, or requests for specific games you’d like to see me do an instructional video for, just ask. 😁

    Great video, thanks! questions: Can i move away from any quest during my turn or am i stuck there until completion? Can i decide to heal myself past the starting life points (4)?

    • @GetReadyforGameNight
      @GetReadyforGameNight  2 года назад +2

      Great questions. Yes you may leave a quest location before the quest is complete. Yes, you may heal yourself past the starting life point value of 4, but never above 6.
      Thanks for watching!

    i might've missed it, but does the knights have to be in all the quests? what happened when lets say none of the knights are at the excalibur quest and somebody draw a black excalibur card, does the excalibur still moves away or it does nothing since none of the knights are at the excalibur quest..

    • @GetReadyforGameNight
      @GetReadyforGameNight  6 лет назад

      Great question Joshua! The progression of evil happens whether or not a Knight is present at a location, so in your example, Excalibur would still move one step away, even if no knight was present on that quest. Thanks for watching!
