Very likely I will. I have not yet PLAYED Warriors of Middle Earth, and I usually like to play a game (or expansion) at least twice before I make a video. Also, my copy of WotR is now painted, but my copy of Warriors of middle earth is NOT, so I’d like to get the minis painted first so everything looks cohesive. But, if there is enough demand, and I find some free time, I could do it sooner.

Cool. If you like the added abilities of Strider/Aragorn and Gandalf the Gray/White in the base WOTR game, it looks like this expands on that concept for other powerful cameo characters we love from the books and movies.
Can you use regular shadow dice to move/attack with a balrog+army? Or can you ONLY use the balrog face of the balrog die to do that? Not clear from rules. Great video thanks!
My interpretation is that YES, you may a regular shadow dice to move and/or attack with an army that has the Balrog in it, adding 2 to the strength of that army. The Balrog special die is simply another way to move or attack with that army specifically. Hope that helps! Enjoy the game and Thanks for Watching!

If Gandalf the White comes into play, does that mean that Gandalf the Grey's special Keeper die gets removed from the game? I would assume so since Gandalf the White cannot be the guide of the Fellowship and the die requirement is not met, but I wanted to make sure. 2. Does Gandalf the Grey turning into Gandalf the White have any impact on his special ring ability or can it still be used in two ways (provided it wasn't used before)? Also, I understand that in case of any of the special ring abilities, if the relevant Keeper is removed from the game and his ring wasn't used, then the Free People's player may only use that ring in its basic capacity (meaning only to change a die result, as in the base game)? Great Great Questions! Let’s tackle them in order. 1. Yes, if Gandalf the White enters play, then Gandalf the Grey is not the leader of the fellowship, so the conditions for that keeper die are not met and the die is removed. 2. Gandalf the White CANNOT use the special ring ability ascribed to Gandalf the Grey. From Page 15 of the Rulebook “If Gandalf the Grey, Keeper of Narya, is in an unconquered settlement of a Free People’s Nation, use the elven ring Narya and any one action die result to activate that nation and move it directly to the At War step of the political track”. Note that the rule specifically says that Gandalf the Grey must be in the settlement. Thanks for watching and enjoy the game!

Ares games is selling the Limited Edition of Warriors now, better nab it up if you want to complete the set! Third and final expansion 'Kings of Middle-Earth' coming next year too!

It might fit more aesthetically with this video to have the Limited Edition, but since the content is the same might as well use the standard! One thing to be aware of though (if it was going to be discussed in your video anyways) is the fix to the original Treebeard mini-expansion, depending on which copy of Warriors you have. A Treebeard card/figure was given out as a promo for Lords, and you can still find it floating around out there (just bought it on eBay myself). If I want to only use the alternate version of Gandalf does the shadow army still get the two tokens? Second question can I mix up which companions I want from the old version or this version? For example boromir original version in the party and the new version Legolas in my party
Daniel Sepanyan Great questions! The alternate version of Gandalf does NOT grant the shadow player any extra tokens. You can absolutely mix and match the fellowship characters using both the original versions and the Counsel of Rivendell versions. Whenever you use ANY characters from the Counsel of Rivendell module, the number of shadow tokens that the shadow player receives depends on how many of the new version characters the Free Peoples player decides to start in the alternate starting positions. If exactly one member of the fellowship starts outside of Rivendell, the shadow player receives one token. If more than one member of the fellowship starts in their alternate starting location, the shadow player gets two tokens. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Hi can the "We Shall Get It" card be used every time a hunt tile is drawn or only once Gollum enters play you need to discard it to use it once? Cheers in advance.
Any action that removes Smeagol from the Fellowship puts We Shall Get It on the board, but it can only be used once Gollum is the Guide. After it is used, it is discarded.
@@johnsmith6266 The Keeper die is in ADDITION to the regular die you earn with Gandalf the white. But don't forget, during the Recover Action Dice phase, if Gandalf the White is in play, if any keeper die has the "remove" symbol (star), it is eliminated.
