Ah. I heard the Eb1/D#1 then I felt an undertone immediately following it so it definitely is arrangement subharmonics (gonna try to coin that term which means subharmonics occurring due to arrangement lol)
A young bass voice and a basso profundo voice coming together is something special isn't it?

Found this analysis really informative. I appreciate what you mentioned about timbre. Like how Eric's vocal instrument is quite different to that of Marwan regardless how what ever note they are. You also pointed out how Eric's voice doesnt change in timbre on really low notes. Eric seems to be "at home " at that range rather than a show case of how low he can go. When Marwan sings those it is more of a "wow ,its impressive that he can get that low." Two ends of spectrum of bass singers.

Some days I wish I was blessed with a powerful voice, or took the time to train my lower register. All my vocal training over the years focused on projecting my upper register. Which does give me an advantage range wise (chest voice I can go down to Eb2 even on a bad day, on an amazing day I bottom out at around Gb1 (guaranteed only with morning voice) and I can comfortably sing into the bottom of the treble clef before switching to chest and head mix. Around an Eb4 is where my break starts to show itself.
