Classic Tetris Monthly is a series of monthly #Nintendo #Tetris tournaments, started by founding mother fridaywitch in December 2017, and resurrected by vandweller in October 2018. Nowadays, it's become the largest NES Tetris #Tournament expanding to seven events: The Masters Event, the Challengers Circuit, the Futures Circuit, the Hopefuls Circuit, the Community Tournament, Tetris Deathmatch and Monday Night Chasedown!

Always rooting for Alex
It does make sense for the most consistent players to not meet eachother in events all too often. They constantly qualify high, meaning they aren't seeded in the same brackets and could only meet in the semis of finals.
So we'd expect them to only play each other every second, or fourth or nth event, depending on how many of those stacked players there are and how often they qualify in top seeds
In my perspective, tournament regulators should revolutionize these matches as a way to negotiate against “Hard boiled eggs.” It’s the more preferred solution for Tetris players to eat the nobody knows the syncopation.

Crazy match
Righr now Alex T and Fractal, they are in another level from the rest
Dog just cannot crack that darn Fractal lately or heck even like what past like year+ now, I don't know there head to head record say since this time last year but geeze its got to be something along the lines of like at least an 8-2 lead by Fractal if not more. Its like he not only has the best luck ever on killscreen play but he also simultaneously is objectively the best at surviving and scoring post 29 as well.
Dog is still my favorite active player and I know he is totally capable of and will defeat Fractal again especially in an important quarter semis or finals match, but as it stands yeah Fractal is simply #1 in the world fairly objectively at this time I would think yeah?.

We really need a classic tetris belt. The trophy is cool, but how awesome would it be to have a giant I piece belt? Defended once a year

I still miss Koryan and Bereny aka Richard man! and Joseph of course....I mean I like all these dudes to a lot but ya know.
Someone told me Joseph was caught by police for years ago. About weeds or something illegal. Is that true?
@@user-hl7qk1vn7f really? lol, hm yeah not sure, I mean even if he was I doubt woulda been a huge deal especially in where did he live central or northern California ya know, anything like that aside though the impression I got which is mostly just observation/speculation was that he was trying to and likely hoping that he would have been able to pick up and adapt to rolling the way he did hyper tapping, and he did make some progress at least but at least as of the last time I saw him play he just wasn't quite able to get it to the necessary needed level, same with Nenu to actually i think which is really a shame cause miss that dude as well maybe he's still working on it and will surprise us one of these months by coming back to CTM though? hopefully, but yeah I think that combined with Joseph also probably just getting a bit burnt out with Tetris and competitions and also doing other things in life which seemed to be Music and college related probably means he just switched to focusing on that exclusively I think anyways that is what it seemed like ya know what I mean. What is funny though is that even with just Josephs Hyper tapping he would/could have still hung with and legit competed at the highest level against most even elite rollers up to about a year and a half ago or so in fact he dog and Alex T in particular were hyper tappers who would more often then not even defeat the elite best rollers of that short window of time like say mid 2021 to eh maybe mid ish 2022 ish. Anyways hopefully he comes back sometime, in some capacity, hopefully they all do great set of players are active right now somethin for everyone absolutely, but it'd still just be that much better even if sometime Joseph, Batfoy, Bereny aka Richard, and Koryan come back for at least occassional competitive events/tournaments, likewise with Nenu who I also gotta check up with see if his rolling has progressed to hopefully.
