I just realized, XG took 5 years of training before debut. That's like going through college....Man, props to these girls for handling all the stress! The journey has just started!
And now you got the international audience's attention. This will be an exciting comeback! 1st Mini-album, here we go!
It's more than a college degree, plus they were sooo young to be doing something as intense and stressful as this. They did it away from their family and in a whole different country too. They had singing, dancing, rapping, even language lessons. You don't even do all that in college. They're amazinggg 😭
@@Angel-jh6zp 아이구..Comparing it to college is not belittling their experiences. There are college students who live in dormitories too which is equivalent of being away from their family. This is even more evident with foreign students, who could also be exchange students from another country. Singing, dancing, rapping lessons can be done as minor course in Art colleges focusing with degrees in Performing Arts. In college, everyone is up till the next morning. E.g. architectural students. It's a realistic comparison.

I think the trainees are more stressed, students are stressed during the study period ending with getting a diploma, which they can use to find work. trainees are under pressure during the training period {delete their social media accounts, maybe they also have to diet for training evaluation} and will not necessarily debut, in this episode 21 participants who debuted only 7 people, 14 participants left without certificates.

はじめてXGを見た時、こんな逸材一体どうやって見つけたんだ？！と驚いたけど、間違ってた。自分たちの力で、血の滲む努力で作り上げたんですね。すごいです
お風呂場の写真の件で、単に気を引き締めろという注意で終わるのではなく、
自分たちの振る舞いがどう映るかだったりどんな人物像を目指すべきかの哲学を伝えようとするSimon氏がかっこいい。
何よりも尊敬されない応援されない姿を「ダサい」と形容するのが最高。
この子達にはかっこよくいてほしい気持ちからくる表現。

It’s nice seeing that someone wanted to make a girl group thats one of a kind and aimed to be global stars. I feel like most of the time when companies try to make a global group they try and go for boy groups first. It’s crazy how fast XG has gotten to the level they are now they don’t seem like a new group it’s nice to see.they have me playing their songs on a loop nonstop
The original plan was to have one boy in the group but this changed midway through the process
@@prodoorbeller3803 really? im glad it was changed. if you're gonna make a co-ed group, make it fully co-ed. not just one boy dropped in a bunch of females. that's gonna require lots of compromises not favorable for both parties
色んなオーディション番組もあるしそれで出来上がったグループもあるけど、突然信じられないクオリティで表舞台に立った完璧なグループが1年間活動した後でそのストーリーが紐解かれてくのめちゃくちゃ惹かれるものがある。
日が当たらないところで、ここに至るまで本当に強い思いを重ね続けたからあれだけ濃厚な品質を維持できるんだなと、裏付けてもらえて改めて納得が出来た。
メンバーにならなかった子も含めて、特大プロジェクトだったんだね。
まだまだ録り溜めた素材が沢山有りそうだから、楽しみにしています。
彼らの過去も今もこれからも、とても眩しく光り輝くものですね。

It’s funny how a lot of haters think that they could hurt them while these girls went through THIS. Training prepared them for the industry. I hope they’ll stay strong, say all you want and it wouldn’t move them one bit
「もうこの曲なら世界を奪えるぞって思いました！」とキラキラした笑顔で話すJURIAだけど、
「取る」じゃなくて「奪える」という表現なのは、デビューまでの5年の間に色んなグループに先を越されてきた事の焦りや不安や悔しさを乗り越えてきた挑戦者の姿勢なんだろうなと思うと目頭が熱くなる。
そして今のXGの言葉に力強さと煌めきがあって本当に惹かれるし、これがSimon氏が求めたアーティストのマインドなんだなと見てるこちらが嬉しくなる。
これを見たあとに私たちは簡単にHikaruに合流して欲しいとか言える立場ではないと思った。
みんな本気でオーディションして勝ち抜いた人たちだから。
どうも勘違いしてるようだが、オーディション組はどっちかと言えば雑草組だ。XGに才能が無いってわけじゃないが、例えば中元すず香は8歳でスカウトされ10歳でプロ契約した。姉のついでにそこで歌った結果だ。そういうモンスターエリートが居るのがこの世界。XGの(特に歌)は中元すず香が拓いた道を進んでいる。なぜなら日本語発声の美しさを10年前に世界に示したパイオニアが中元すず香だから。日本語発声の音色は新しい。XGのプロデューサーがそう意図してるかは知らん。
お気づきでないかもと思うので書いておこう。普通、モンスターが現れたらオーディションなんか即終了。それ以上はただの無駄だから。イベントとして予定が組んである場合はコンテンツ契約上やめられないってだけで、まぁその場合はオーディション自体が茶番になるわけだ。勝ち抜き組には上が居るってことさ。

오디션과정을 먼저 보여주고.. 결과를 내는게 아니라.. 결과를 보여주고 과정을 보여주는 방식이 신선. 신중함이 느껴지고 신뢰가 생김. 아무쪼록 한국과의 관계도 자연스럽게 풀어내어서 모두에게 사랑받는 팀이 되면 더 좋을거 같다.
네 맞아요 ㅠㅠ 그리고 저 과정이 단순히 몇달간 찍어서 보여주는게 아니라 몇년동안 같이 고생한 분들의 이야기라서 더 와닿네요…. ㅠㅠ

Simon is right, a lot are dreaming to become an artist because of the glamour, praises, privileges and the stardom they could earn through it but the real challenge in being an idol or an artist in general is the capacity to withstand the dark side of the glamorous life of the Idol industry. And I think, XG are well geared up to break through any challenges and withstand the cruelty of the life they chose to walk on.
I'm grateful to Simon for bravely taking up the role as the girls’ shield in this cruel idol life. Alphaz will also serve as XG's shield until whenever.

You can really feel the blood sweat and many tears that came from the training life to become the meaning of the lyrics of Shooting Star. After watching This video it really makes you believe what they’re singing in that song

I actually admire how open this documentary is. This shows a lot about the training and selection process that many of us haven't seen before.

アイドルである以上に、アーティストである以上に、人としてめっちゃ惹かれる、若さもいい、積極性もいい、夢が詰まってていいな
子供の人格形成のうえで本気で叱ってくれる大人がいるって本当に大切ね。バスタブの写真１つとっても、その通りだなあって思う。精神面でも身体面でも本当に過酷な訓練を乗り越えてきたんだね。
今回XGのメンバーなれなかった練習生含めXGALXに携わった全ての方に尊敬の念を抱きます。
観るのが辛いくらいみんな頑張ってて尊い。本当にありがとう。XGのみんな、関係者皆さま、本当にありがとうございます。
日本でも韓国でもアイドルになりたい子は山ほどいるし、実際に年間に数グループがデビューし、またその裏で数グループがひっそり消えている。
サイモンさんの育成に疑問を持つ方がいるかもしれないけど、そんな山ほどいるアイドルの中で、トップを目指すのに体力も根性も無い人が成功するわけがない。
XGが徐々に世界で認知が高まっているのは、彼女達が高いスキルを舞台上で発揮できているからだし、またそのスキルが平均レベルの環境で得られるわけがない。
韓国でのXGに対する風当たりを見れば、強靭な根性と精神力がなければ、メンタルやられて最悪な事態にもなってる。
あんな全面アウェイな環境で堂々としたパフォーマンスできるのは、この訓練の賜物だよ。

im so surprised by how young some of this girls were at the time. Like damn, at 12 years old I was playing with barbie dolls and watching Disney Channel, while some of them were living a dorm life and training to become an idol.

This is so sweet. That's why XG is THE GROUP period.
We all know that they kill it once they are the stage performing - but this is on another level.
The amount of hardships, heartbreak, trials and tribulations that they went through at a very young age.
XG is built tough - SIMON really put them to the grinder on this one. It's a testament on how diamonds are made, through sheer pressure.
7 Main Dancers, Elite Rapline, Magnificent Vox Line - all fantastic performers.
And these girls have shown they will shine, and will continue shining on the years to come.
From a non-KPOP listener, seeing all these made me respect these girls soooo much and SIMON too of course.
This is just the tip of the iceberg on what these documentary is all about yet for a grown man, i have already teared up with the introduction and this.

These ladies are a dream for any choreographer because they move so well together and individually. This group doesn't need thousands of backup dancers like most K-Pop groups do.

泣きそうになりながら、こらえながら話してる。メンバーだけでなく、スタッフ全員が5年間死物狂いで戦ってきて、物凄い絆が強いからこそ、「落とす」のが本当に辛かったんだね。デビューできなかった全ての候補生も、XGALXで頑張ってきたことを誇りに生きて欲しいし、幸せな人生を送って欲しいな😭✨
Rewatching this. I'm amazed at how Juria started with a low ranking at first and but then debut as one of XG's strong main vocalists.
初めての試みだから、批判されることもあると思うけど、これだけ本気の姿見たら応援するしかない。世界のどこにいてもこのグループを見つけた瞬間応援してたと思います💞💞💞
想像の何倍もの厳しさに驚いた。エンタメ要素なしのリアルさから凄みが伝わってくる。彼女たちがどれだけ批判されても揺るがない決意の強さに納得。デビューできなかったメンバーまで背負う気持ち、MAYAちゃんの言葉からひしひしと伝わってきました。これでまたエピソード01って、濃密すぎる…。xgのみんながもっと世界に羽ばたいていけるように全力で応援します！
Wow! My respect for the girls increased even more! They have worked so hard from day 1 to get to where they are! It must be so hard to see your friends leave while you advance. It made me tear up when Maya said they helped teach the girls who didn’t make it 🥹 They all have such kind souls. I’m proud to call them my idols 💙

GirlsPlanetでkep1erのヒカルちゃんを見た時、実力者なのにすごく自信満々という感じでもなかったなと感じたんですが、この水準の中で練習してきたのだと思うとそれも納得です
彼女たちのドキュメンタリーを過剰に演出したりせず、ありのままリアルに伝えていこうという覚悟を感じました。エグいほど重く苦しい、だからこそ彼女たちの血の滲むような努力、ひたむきさに胸を打たれます。次回も楽しみにしています。
I knew the process was tough but watching it like this made my eyes water so fast😭 It was like going through college and getting the degree that everyone is after. That was not tough, it was brutal. アーティストのドキュメンタリーって、有料化したり、パッケージ化して売るイメージだけど、youtubeで誰でも見れちゃうようにしたの凄いし、普通はデビューさせて、成長して、売れ切ってから出すっていうスタンダードをぶち壊しまくっててやばいです。ここまで努力し続けてきたXGにリスペクト、彼女達を信じ続け、世に送出ししてくれたスタッフの方々にもリスペクトしかないです。久々に衝撃を受けました。これからの世界進撃も楽しみにしてます。
「言葉や文化に関係なく人々に愛され、勇気、希望、楽しさを与えられるアーティストグループを作りたい」というサイモンさんの言葉からXGによって世界の垣根を取り払いより良い世界にしたいという本気の思いを感じました。
かわいいなって思うのと、胸がいたいなが交互に…何となくだけど、まだまだ親元で許され見守られながら暮らせるような年齢の子が常に自分をジャッジされる場所で生きてきたことの重みは感じていた。
それを映像としてみると痛みや重みが全然違う。
これから長く愛されるグループだと思うし、年齢的にも大人になっていく皆だからこれからいろんな事があると思う。

言葉になりません。ただただここに参加した全員幼いのにこの葛藤や覚悟、夢に向かって進もうとする気持ちが伝わって来て涙が出ます。全員抱きしめてあげたい。仲間への思いや今までの軌跡が今全部に表れてて、だからXGのメンバー1人1人こんなに素敵で魅力的なグループなんだと思いました。
これほどまでに綿密に時間をかけて築き上げられてきたXGの物語っていうのがすごく奥深くてこの先が気になりすぎる。

In the beginning when Simon announced to the girls who didn't make it, you can hear his voice braking out, that tells you how much he cares for the girls, even if he was tough on them, the girls have gone through a lot and just hearing each one speak reflecting on the past you see it in their eyes and words how much they mature. This is what makes XG a power group, they were not taught to be models like the new girl group artists that are just looking to be brand models this group was meant to be a group to perform and entertain fans. The most hated group by knetz in korea but the most loved by the the rest of the world Global ALPHAZ & XG

@@maricleredpav4068 its true, there's a few korean YT channels that dedicate themselves to just look for the flaws on kpop groups but with XG just the fact that they're Japanese and based in Korea , some of the knetz didnt welcome them into the kpop industry with good eyes, to this day they see them inferior artists just because they come from japan, one of the youtube channels called FocuSON its a good example, they have posted videos of XG and the comments letf by knetz are just to xenophobic amd the amount of hate left on a lot of commets are very harsh for the girls and thats in most videos they have of XG, I read one the other day where they call XG parasites,rats even some wishing they dissolve and even wishing death. It really is an eye opener to see how the knetz and k fandoms are so toxic about this group. The Xypher tape 2 is dedicated to the haters and seeing XG now quietly rising to the top its very overwhelming. They are changing the game in kpop by being the first all japanese girl group singing in english to the world. Thats what makes them that power group for me.
there is a fancam of one of the members, jurin's i think, uploaded by mnet, where the comments, i scrolled through in utter disbelief, were filled of comments around 96% from knetz hating on them. it also had to do with their CEO's statement that offended the Koreans. though those comments were just really out of bounds.
@@maricleredpav4068 not all Knetz but a Huge group of Knetz. There are knetz who took interest and actually love XG. That's why there are Korean ALPHAZ supporting them in Korea. but the most saddest part is what happened during their inki broadcasting stage on the 29th-Jan. Here's a tweet about it (you can g00gle the tweet too to confirm it):
_"Ohmygod some (Korean and non-Korean) Alphaz who went to broadcast today didn't get the slots for XG 😭 They said 99% of the audience for XG are not even fans 😭😭😭"_

@@ammmm_4803 simon mantioneded this before its not the first time they've done this, they did it also when XG did their TV debut with mascara a lot of non XG fans sabotaged the performance by buying tickets and not letting the XG fans attend to cheer for the girls. We're grateful for the Korean Alphaz that support XG and hope K-Alphaz continue to support XG and the XGALX team since you are closer than us who live abroad, when XG comes to America we will make them feel like they have reached the stars and show them that no matter how hard the abstacles in their way have been, we as Fans will stan by them and love them & support them.
XGに限らず幼い頃から真剣に努力できる人達尊敬します。表に出る仕事はどこかで才能があって特別な人だと思っていました。普段の彼女たちを映した動画や今回の動画で改めて1人の人間だなって感じました。当たり前なんですけどね。
This documentary series has some parts that are painful to watch, but it is very important content for understanding XG.

ひなたちゃんがみんなの事を「モデルさんみたいで...」と言ってた理由がわかった気がする。
ほとんどのトレーニングメンバーは、すでにどこかの芸能事務所に所属してたりしてて、オーディションの前から芸能のキャリアがあったように見える。
でもひなたちゃんは「近所のダンススクールのスタッフさんから...」「普通の学校」と言ってたから、事務所に所属してなかったように見えたし、芸能科がある学校に通っていない、メンバーの中では割と一般人に近い女の子だったみたい。
写真もスタジオで撮った宣材写真じゃないみたいだし。
あのメンバーの中でXGになったひなたちゃんはどれだけの努力をしたんだろうか。
特にひなたちゃんに注目して見た事なかったけど、興味が出てきた。
私もそう思う。
I know it's tough to watch them go through ardous trainings for such a young age but I just feel so proud of them for overcoming all the challenges even at such a young age and through it, each of them has emerged into a beautiful masterpieces.

Im starting to like XG. I like how they enjoy performing, how cute and easy going they are backstage. I like how they show their true personality instead of creating an image to attract fans. Most specially how talented they are. You can see that they are passionate on what they are doing and not only here for fame. Hope they will be big, they’re talent deserve to be recognized.

ここまで人間性から鍛え直していく姿が見ていて辛いけど、食らいついて、もがきながらも努力しているみんなが強くてかっこいい。だからXGは芯の強さとかかっこよさとか、軸をめちゃくちゃ感じる。かっこよくて、美しいみんなが大好きです。
デビューしたXGのメンバー達も、残念ながらXGとしてはデビュー出来なかった子達も皆全力で取り組んでて、月並みの言葉ながらスゴイなと思いました。
18:49〜 の当時13歳のRINOちゃんが皆を代表してダンスの先生に謝罪の気持ちを伝えてる場面とか見てると本当に泣いてしまう。
プロになるための厳しさをあの若さで味わって耐えて成長していくなんて並大抵の心持ちでは出来ないから、XGのメンバー達も含め、このプロジェクトに参加した子達全員、この辛い経験を誇りに変えて素晴らしい人生を送ってほしいな。
目標を持って本気で挑むことの大変さ、大切さを改めて知ることができる動画でした。デビューしてからの素晴らしいパフォーマンスをする彼女達しか知りませんでしたが、こんなにも濃密な時間を過ごしてきたのだと知って、より本気で応援しようと思いました。Alphazであることを誇りに思います🐺
見るのに勇気がいった動画でしたが、見てよかったと本当に思います。
トレーニング、オーディションはとても過酷で胸が張り裂けそうでしたが、努力している彼女達はみなとても美しく、輝いて見えました。

I'm both horrified and impressed... Like I can't get behind treating young girls like this but you can see how XG turned out to be so talented after all the hard work. I'm really hoping all these girls don't have scars too deep and can enjoy a bright future
Yeah, the reality is, is that this isn't even the worst of it. Schools and institutions that develop any sort of artistry have been like this for literally centuries, from the Bolshoi to Juilliard. They demand excellence, and the process weeds out those who aren't as committed or do not meet the standard. I hate to say it, but the "tough love" method historically has produced the most successful results; having "talent" means nothing to these institutions in the long run, "skill" is what they're actually looking for.
But even if young girls are just hanging around at school, there are other burdens and stresses they have to deal with. Training to be an idol can be stressful, but you can still cope with the pressure if you're really passionate about it. But if you don't like school, it's a worse kind of stress, where you're forced to do things you don't like and things you're not good at. Especially the victims of school violence.
it seemed they were well cared for in terms of diet, living spaces, etc (especially when compared to other companies). sure they were harsh but the girls were definitely not abused, and there was a clip with the parents in the room so hopefully parents new what was going on as well.
Yeah. They are too harsh. I dont get it. It is probably a cultural thing. You would be crucisified in the west if you treat someones child like this lol.

The fact that he says "artist group" instead of "girl group" shows that he wants the ability of these girls to stand out more than anything, which shows why he was so hard on them back, he knew that if someone could make his vision of what a global group is come true it was them who could do it no doubt 🤌🏾🔥
I absolutely love that the girls WANTED to do this and wasn’t manufactured from birth to do this. Jurin did snowboarding first. They all were given options and chose this and STAYED because they believed in what they were doing. Hinata blatantly said she asked her mom to do this. I hear so many horror stories about how the usual kpop industry creates their idols. Simon actually cares about these girls and during training cared about ALL of his trainees. He was tough but he says things with so much love. He believed in them and they believed in him.

XGもデビューできなかった子もスキルだけでなくメンタル、フィジカル共にずば抜けた才能を持っている子がまだまだいるんだと感じた。
ヒカルはXGとしてデビューはできなかったけど、ガルプラに出たおかげでヒカルに出会えたし今ヒカルが私自身のNo.1だから、彼女を鍛え上げたこの場所でのトレーニングがとても貴重なものに思える。
元々の性格もあると思うけど練習は歯磨きと同じ、というヒカルの発言に納得がいった。
XGとヒカルの再会でお互いに幸せそうにしている姿がとても好きです。

Este documental es increíble, pude sentir como Simón se siente tan comprometido con la misión de crear un grupo de chicas únicas y de lo difícil que fue para él tener que ir despidiendo a las que no iban a debutar. Estuvo en cada proceso, y nunca las dejó, nunca las maltrato, siempre habló pacíficamente y sin gritarles, siempre tuvo en cuenta que eras menores demasiado jóvenes y trato de presionarlas desde esa edad sin destruir sus sueños horriblemente como hacen en otras industrias. Es espectacular

Creo que también tiene que ver con que él estuvo en esa posición, todo se trata de romper patrones y tener empatía. Todas van por un mismo sueño, todas son seres humanos valiosos. Qué gran visión tuvo/tiene Simon.

This documentary is already good when Simon was talking to the girls about posting pictures they took in the bathroom online it was actually kinda smart. He knows that even the smallest things people can take and morph into their own narrative so he's telling them to be cautious of things like that. I think that's one of the most important things to be aware of when it comes to being an idol especially if you want to be known globally.
