This is the only documentary i've seen that i felt so much goosebumps, so realistic, no scripts just pure presentation and footage of what they've been through and another thing i like the most is that they allow to show the faces of the trainees here even though its been so long. I see and feel that all of the trainees work really hard not just because they want to be chosen but also to learn a lot of things that can help them to be a better and more stronger person that no one can stole it from them or out-rank them. I have so many words i want to say on how much i proud to this girls, how grateful i was that i found them. I'm really proud that THEY DID IT, they overcomed those dark days and hard times. I'm hoping that in the future all the people around the globe will KISS their names and i'm proud to witness that.

showing the other trainees faces is a good move they might get scouted by other companies just like what happened in ygtb. trainees who didnt debut in treasure debuted in other companies.

I agree. It’s because they use a lot of old footages and they don’t use narration or voice over or captions, you know, those things that are often used in korean survival shows to make things more dramatic…. XTRA XTRA is more like a documentary. Not reality show.
I respect Simon’s ability to be direct and open with his feedback without making it personally directed at the girls. It’s a hard existence to be constantly judged and evaluated
Yes he’s strict but I love the part at the end when he sat down on the street with the dropped out trainees… It’s like he’s talking to them eye to eye, not from higher position
I’m interested how the final XG members improved to be in the final line up. They worked really hard for it. Respect to these ‘kids’ dedication for their dreams🙌🏽 Also, our Jurin-san has always been an ace.🌟
This was only the dance portion of their training, when it comes down to vocals Chisa and Juria excel in that area. Thats how they solidified there positions and in my opinion Mayas the best singer out of there rap line in XG

確かに三人のボーカルスキルは高いですがダンススキルもかなり高いです。
LEFT RIGHTのようなヒップホップよりのダンスをあれだけ揃えられるのは努力の賜物だと思います。
脱落を糧にし練習を重ねてスキルアップしたのだと思います。
ランク14位(ボーカルはこの時点で分かりませんが)からXGのメインボーカルしかもキリングパートになるまで頑張ってくれたJuriaちゃんに、ただただ感謝です。
XGの歌にはJuriaちゃんが必要です。

it's why she's my bias. her incredible body control never goes unnoticed. it's crazy to think she only learned this while at the academy. you'd think she knew how to dance since a little child 😅

私はただの同級生ですが、高校の頃、一度だけバイト先にたまたまJURINちゃんが来たことがありました。久しぶりだね！と明るく笑って挨拶してくれてとても嬉しかったのですが、少し憔悴していたようにも見え、心配になったことを覚えています。
今この動画を見て、そりゃあ憔悴もするよなぁと思いました。

I kinda feel like simon has plans for the other girls to create another group around hikaru to maximize her popularity after kep1er. Cuz it’ll be such a waste of talent if the other girls don’t debut, im a hikaru stan but I also really like maju. I hope that’ll happen

ガルプラの時のひかるちゃんが、表情の小さな違いまでこだわってた理由がこの動画を見てわかった気がする。
努力を少しでも怠れば周りに抜かされて脱落するっていうのを経験してたから、妥協しないで頑張ってたんだろうな。
ヒナタちゃんこんな状況でもマイペースで可愛いし、ジュリンちゃんは全員デビュー組選んでて見きわめ力凄いし、マジュちゃんの立場は正解の選択肢が細すぎるし、今回もドキドキしました

It's interesting to see how Jurin was fit to be a leader from a very young age. I'm glad Jurin was chosen to lead XG. Her passion for music, dance and her personality really make her the perfect leader.
Agreed she got already charisma too when she's showing her photos like the 3rd graders? 😭 Also that Jurin said how she got shocked when she saw Cocona's rapping when she first met her. That came from a good rapper Jurin and Cocona was 11 yr old when they first met. Im so excited already for the vocal lesson episodes coming up soon🔥
She has that confidence that can lead XG to great things. She has a LOT of passion.

I cannot imagine anyone that can lead XG other than Jurin and Chisa. Jurin always got that passion in her and her natural leadership. You can clearly see it here on the documentary. She always have great insight and she's great at decision making.
you can see Jurin’s leadership qualities from the start. and the fact that she picked 3 XG members for her group shows she has good decision making skills as well

あのチサとジュリアとマヤが下位グループにいたとは。このビデオは、たとえ才能があっても、チャンスは諦めなければ夢は叶うと教えてくれるものであり、同時に、努力を怠ればせっかくのチャンスを逃してしまう事を教えてくれるビデオだと思う。
Anyone who ever doubts this docu series and their training and trials......you need to watch XG's HITC NY performance today. XG absolutely SLAYED NY today. They are getting high praise globally. From Billboard to even Head In The Clouds themselves saying "XG ARE TRUE SUPERSTARS"
When I discovered XG, my bias is Juria, and my 2 biases wreckers are Chisa and Maya. Not knowing that these 3 were at the bottom before this episode. I know everyone worked so hard, but especially these 3 to get back on top was out of this world. There was an episode on Juria's birthday where Maya went to get a birthday cake, and she shed a tear and explained of what they had gone through together during training. Now I know why there's a special bond between these 3. After this episode, it made my pick from day 1 so gratifying. We Alphaz ride or die with XG for life.
They are the definition from zero to hero. Thank God they are talented in vocals but for people who didnt watch this documentaries, they wont notice since these 3 dance so well, all of them are main dancers now & I am so proud of them especially with Chisa, Maya & Juria

I fully agree with Simon's perspective that dance should be an expression of one's own unique personality. It is not surprising, therefore, that each member of XG exudes distinct vibes when they perform on stage.

다큐멘터리를 굳이 보지 않은 상황에서도 충분히 상상할 수 있던 부분이지만 지금은 XG가 된 멤버들과 연습생들이 모국에서의 트레이닝만으로도 힘들었을 텐데 타국까지 건너와 외롭게 노력하고 좌절하고 그 과정을 꿋꿋이 견뎌내는 모습에 대견한 기분과 안쓰러운 기분이 동시에 드네요. XG 멤버에 합류하지 못한 아주 어려 보이는 연습생들마저도 꽤 퀄리티 있는 댄스 실력에 놀라기도 했습니다. 흥미롭게 시청했어요. 이후 다큐멘터리 회차에서 다뤄지겠지만 코로나 등으로 예상하지 못한 악조건에서의 트레이닝도 기다리고 있었을 텐데 그 상황을 견뎌낸 모두들에게 벌써부터 존경심이 듭니다. 3화도 기대하겠습니다.

I wanted to hug all of the babies! They were so young, especially the 10 yrs old but she killed it. I can't imagine putting myself though that level of stress and constantly competing to survive to reach your dreams. All of them were amazing and this documentary is everything. Simon treated the girls well and I love it!!
Most of the Asian artists especially Japan/korea are trained a young age. MoonChild ( another Japanese girls group ) started training at a young age, like XG..
Thats why western trainees wouldnt survive. They dont have the same mentality

I don’t know that you can say he treated them well when he’s putting small children through an adult-intensity training program, complete with cruel psychological games. (And I know its standard in kpop, still messed up).
That was so heartbreaking. I felt so bad for Maju 😢 The fact that Jurin's team, which included three other current XG members, could only place second showed just how competitive it was and how much work they had to do to succeed. That was especially true for Chisa, Juria, and Maya. Seeing them get sent home was kinda shocking, though I get that they were lagging behind at the time. But it also makes me so proud that they all persevered and made it all the way to the end ❣ On a lighter note, it was really nice seeing them celebrate Maya's 13th birthday. And even at that early stage, you can clearly see Jurin's leadership qualities. Also, 9:18 smiling and laughing Hinata made my day 💎🥰💙 Can't wait to see more of their hard-fought journey!

このドキュメンタリーを見るまで、完成度の高い完成品を見ているような気持ちでしたが、そうではないんですね。才能あふれる子たちが、血の滲むような努力をした賜物がXGだったんだなと😢本当に、見方が変わって、ますますXGが好きになりました。次のエピソード、待ってます❤
共に闘い成長していく仲間だから、個々の力を引き上げてチームとして一つになれるリーダーが求められるよね。ジュリンのチームは楽しそうに練習できてる。
そしてあの場面で４人でやりたいと言えるジュリンはこの世界に向いてる。
ジュリアちゃんとチサちゃん、マヤちゃんほんまに熱すぎる
観てるのが辛かった。
でもCチームから這い上がってXGになった子達はもの凄い努力をしたんだろうな。

ダンストレーニングではあるけど、今ではXGには欠かせないメインボーカルの二人と、ボーカル、ラップ、ダンスとマルチな才能と語学力まで持ち合わせたMAYAちゃんまでもが脱落組だったなんて😲
過酷すぎて、これが正しいことなのかは正直わからないけど、これだけの経験を積んできたからこそ、今のXGがあるし、これだけのサバイバルを乗り越えながらも、メンバー同士が信頼し合い、強い絆で結ばれている現状が本当に凄いことだなって思います。
やっぱりK-POPのグループは、デビューした時から一流で世界レベルなのが、こういう長く過酷な練習生時代を経験しているからこそなんだということを改めて再認識させられますね。

凄く面白くなってきましたね。
韓国合宿の時点で練習生全員かなりダンスが上手いことに驚きました。合宿前に物凄い追い上げ練習をして、一人ひとりがスキルを磨いたのか分かる。
そして、ミッションが始まってからはもう全員の目が違う。XGの目からはどうして強い意志や自信、野望が感じられるんだろうって思ってたけど、練習生生活の中で、かなり早い段階でこの目になっていたんだね。
絶対にミッションを勝ち取ってやるっていう、強い意志を持った目を練習生全員がしてる。「アーティストになれたらいいな」じゃなくて、「絶対にアーティストになる！」っていう強い目。
残酷な部分もあったけど、サイモンさんの説明は理にかなっていて、けしてできない子を蔑んだり見せ物にするためにしてるんじゃない。皆がアーティストになりたいんだから、皆が本気で競争しなくてはいけない世界たものね。
スポーツの世界だって、どんなに苦しい練習をして努力しても、実力があって勝ち上がっていく子しか、国内代表に選ばれないし、世界で戦えない。戦うチャンスすら、選ばれた
子しかもらえない。
XGのメンバー3人がこの合宿で落とされて、この後どのように這い上がっていったのかが凄く気になるし、早く次が見たい。
ダンスだけじゃなくて、ボーカルとラップのスキルがどのようにして磨かれたのかも知りたい。

Yes true! Jakops saw that from the get go! We all see that now. That’s why she also revealed as the first XG member. But I have to say she has been my bias from the day 1 ever I saw XG. It’s something about her, that aura, charisma, that X you can’t explain. Especially when she’s just grooving ❤

This is so intense..! I felt maju's emotion. It pierced right through my heart. The way she chose herself but in the end no one picked her. And it's interesting to see how 3 of current XG members crawled back up! I know this is just a dance evaluation and dang the intensity. Cheering for you all! 🌠
I was sooo surprised that when they were asked to remove a member and she removed herself because she wanted to be in a different team away from team Yellow. But in the end, nobody ended up choosing her? 😭

Juria Chisa Maya started from the bottom of the ranking and now they are here shining like the brightest stars, that's the spirit of never giving up!
比选秀综艺要真实残酷许多，我没有意料到会是这样的展开，chisa、juria在dance rank中不占优势确实也有预料，想必在vocal rank中得分很高，maya倒是没有想到，肯定经历了更艰辛的练习付出了更多的努力吧。maju选择自己可能也是没有想到其他组没有选她加入……一念之差

I remember when I was around 11-12 years old (freshmen), I participated in a street dancing and in-place competition. We had a massive number of participants from all high school levels against other schools in the district. We trained outside, and burned our skin from the sunlight. Whenever one member messed up , we had to fall in line and flick the member's ears in front (20 or more times). Some of them cried cause their ears bled but no one quit although they had a choice. But then we laughed it out later on. 😅 That pushed my limitation, I never thought I could dance (since I usually sing). When the day of competition came, we did our best.. we danced while walking (street dancing) people from the side of the street watched us happily.
I will never forget that experience. I felt the power. We placed in 3rd (street dance, Sinulog festival)
That's why I adore this group so much. They got that A+ factor. No one dared to quit but pushed their own limits. 🔥 I'll keep supporting XG.

Yeah! So real and objective! Unlike the so called reality talent shows where trainees are more focused on clapping, hair flips, looking cute on vlogs. Like there's no real passion. Too comfortable which makes reality talent shows pointless.
@@1viewer1 Not to mentioned the rigged public voting and the results already decided by the Producers regardless of what the public votes! (Produce series scams!)
@@1viewer1 Yeah, the thing with those shows is that they're only for a few months at best, and most of the time they're vying for viewers votes. Here we get raw documentation of the struggles of trainees that took years, it's so refreshing.
@1viewer1 this is true, in other talent shows the one who will pick to debut is the people based on votes, here, trainees are testing their compatibility, team dynamics thats why they keep changing sub-teams and if they really blend well with each other to form a team. thats why its kinda understandable why chisa, juria, maya got dropped at that time coz its a dance evaluation but they will comeback and aced the vocal evaluation. cant wait to see it.
And nowadays, a lot is configured on Visuals first, not necessarily talent.

この時点での実力の順位は置いておいて、やっぱり現メンバーは選ばれるべくして選ばれてるなっていう片鱗がちゃんと見える気がするなぁ。とにかく何があってもスターになるんだ‼︎っていう意思の強さ、精神的なタフネス、キャラクターの魅力がちゃんと伝わってくる。

I'm from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and find XG music and style refreshing especially how they find different dance and music routine and make it their own. It's been gratifying to follow a group like them which I haven't followed in such a long time.

I like that this episode really explains and shows a lot of what was really actually going on that some people found too harsh in the last episode without the entire context. Because it definitely makes sense now. What an amazing episode. You have to watch it more than once just to take it all in.
