I remember golden grove , my great grandmother use to sell at market out there , also that playing feild , i remember , some villagers catch a big crocodile or alligator , right behind the banana feild in that river .
U have to remember that entire area has been farm land for many yrs...east banana broad wen i was a kid. Its very flat and many canal water flow tru there..with all that rain ppl should have expected this. Not the first seeing this. I went to bath all age n golden grove primary school in the 80s n seen this flood like this b4. we just didnt have social media to spread the situation den. Hope every1 gud tho.

We have to realize the world has changed, no amount of drainage can stop the force of nature " when she gets mad ' not even in first world countries, they are having the same problems, probably we have cut down too many trees and turn the areas into a parking lot, we ded now 😢😢

Got caught in the water at amity hall this morning around 2 . It was very bad. The cows could not even cross the river.
That doesn't look like golden Grove at all, it more looks like river Grove.
Golden Grove usually flood but this is extreme wonder what cause it is this a drainage problem
