Nice review very detailed. I also have a set of Irwin J-Cups which are fantastic, I have them powder coated a very similar color as you to match my Home Gym. I custom ordered the Monolift from Irwin Fitness and Garth spent 3 months making them. They are a beast of a product, unfortunately I did not research the product throughly as when they arrived they were beautiful and very well constructed, however they each weighed 36 pounds and you almost needed 2 people to attach them to my power rack. Long story short I ended up selling them to someone who wanted them because they just were not conventional for me in my home Gym. I should of purchased the ones from Mutant Metals as they are lighter and easier to attach and move around. I also purchased the Squat Handles from Irwin Fitness which are awesome for auxiliary work.
Garth is a very good business owner and the company is really taking off. I like to support the small companies who take pride in their work and communicate first hand with the customer when you have questions.
Any issues with the steel roller option?
I think Irwin makes some of the nicest pieces. I have their roller J- cups and they are amazing and would love the bench but like you, I have the Rogue AB 3.0 and the shipping for their benches are very pricey.
I have the bench and its amazing. Its expensive to ship because they ship assembled and on a pallet...but ive heard that they might be working on a dissassembled bench which would bring the cost significantly down....stay tuned!

😂 Rogue’s is definitely a tank but looks and design go to Irwin. I’ll keep an eye on the shipping and if things change… maybe I’ll have another bench 😆

Definitely one of the best looking and sturdiest J-cups from everything I’ve seen. Picking a pair of these up today for my new Rep PR-5000. Do you think there might be any issue with these fitting properly on that rack since the sizing is slightly different than other 3x3 racks?
They fit on my new rep rack as well, only a tiny bit more gap but not noticeable (but they now longer pin in the back)
Does the back pin come with the roller or is that a separate order?

Can you advise if the 5/8" detent pin in the back only works in the 2" spacing area or does it also work in the West Side/Benching area?
Nice, almost got those but ultimately I ordered Bridge Built BFJ Combo Roller J-Hooks for extra stability. The best part is that they are made in the USA.

It's an attractive piece of equipment and appears to be very well-built, so I went to their website. They cost $269 a pair and that doesn't include the 2x3 adapter! No thanks.
