Sue, loving all that you do in your very educational videos but I cant stand to see you struggle with the sticky-back stabilizer. In order to keep the sticky-back stabilizer from sticking to everything is to first hoop it with the paper backing still on it (blue grid side up); then use a pin to score the blue grid with an X diagonally from corner to corner and then pull off the grid paper leaving the sticky part (sticky side up) exposed so that you can stick the fabric down.
I make very lightweight items that cannot be washed and I don't want want any sticky stabilizer. Instead, I have found the temporary adhesive spray very useful. I press (no steam) the piece after emroidering between a folded sheet of "baking paper" ( it is brownish and one can bake on it up to aboput 250°C). This removes any trace of the spray.
I learned this 20 yrs ago with Embird and lot different. But I can tell you it would be easier for you to hoop your flimoplast then score in the center and remove the middle of the paper. Easier on your hoop too.
I was like, wait a min, does Sue have a "Triple X" tattoo, kept watching and there it was again. You go girl! and thanks for these awesome videos, I am learning tons with this software.
Thank you for this video. I have a tray cloth design that goes over 4 hoops. I tried it once before but it came out all skew. I'm going to give it another try.
Theresa from Puerto Rico, I love your classes great detailed explanation. I watch your Embird and Hatch videos. Thank you for taking your time to teach us. Looking forward to the next class.
All I have is a 5x7 inch hoop. Can I split an larger design and stll be able to move the hoop to embroidery the second part like you did? My machine is an old one.
Would love to see you do this in EMBIRD please, I do not know how to sort of use my Embird to do what is done in Hatch Embroidery. Can you pretty please do it for us Embird Girls as well. Would really appreciate it so Much.
Do the registration marks come with the design? How does the machine know to do the registration marks on the finished first part and then again on the stabilizer before the second design?
Thank you so much Sue for this video. Can you answer how big can a design bee total in cm if i split it? I mean it has maybe a limitation of digitizing a desing in software?
I don't think there is a limitation, although your machine may have issues if the design is too large. Try it on a large design and split it according to your largest hoops size.
Sharon Carter Sure, it is possible multi hooping in PE Design 10, you need to use the positioning sheets as an aid for layout see page 183 the tutorial 9-2 designs multi-position hoops in your online manual. I have tried and digitized one (not the tutorial) alone and untrained using PE Design Next (I just upgraded to PE Design 10) but I have yet to stitch it out. Just have a go is what I would suggest
Yes, I don't really like the sticky stabilizer either. If you are doing a shirt, you could iron on some soft fusible backing to cover up the sticky stuff.
Would you happen to know why registration marks show up on my hooping files on Hatch, but then only one singular registration mark shows up on my machine when I go to stitch? The first hoop file shows about 5 registration marks when I view the file on Hatch and on my computer, but then only 1 mark shows up on my stitch file on my machine. I can't find answers anywhere :/
IT'S FINALLY DONE! LEARN HOW TO MULTIHOOP STEP BY STEP AND GET PERFECT REGISTRATION! YOU CAN DO IT!

Tammy J yep..if i had the right size i would have done it properly :). I had to improvise a bit!
The placement is the most important part of hooping, so you must be precise if you want a good finish
This is GOLD!!! My poor trust Bernina Artista 180 with its "tiny" 6x7 inch hoop may be able to do all those larger designs I drool over!!!!! Yay!!!
Great video. 😷 Would love to see you do this in EMBIRD.

I'm can't find part I for multi hooping. Can you post a link?
ruclips.net/video/DSQF5ekK9ys/видео.html I think it is this one
I also need the link to the first video. I’ve been searching for hours unable to find it. That link posted is this same video.
Is there a link to the first video or what is the name of the video? I'm having trouble finding part one. Thank you
Thank you so much for this! Do you think that it is possible to do this on a multi needle machine as well?

Thank you so much Sue for this video.

Totally confused. When I get a design that is split I am going to watch this again. Thanks.
You can do it!
Thank You Sue. Can this be done in Embird or PE Design 10?

thank you, good answer!
Ok Sue you are my go to gal ! I have a question. Can you multi-hoop ITH Larger projects? Such as Wallets?
I don't think you can, it would be too difficult to get everything to line up.
@@OMLembroidery That sucks. Thank you Sue for answering!
Hi. Do you know if you can do this on the Brother 800?
you can multi hoop on any machine - it's the software that will set it up for you.
Did you assign the registration marks using your embroidery software? If you don't use software is there an alternate way of doing this?
Hey Sue I like your video can we do a super complex one with five hooping
Thanks!
😀
After embroidering, I have difficulty removing the sticky stabilizer from my project. Also, it seems kind of stiff. Any suggestions?

How would you do multiple hoopings on a Barudan machine for 8 foot banners (letters)
Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today?????
Will the registration marks mess up tshirts when they get removed?
no they won't mess up anything! the registration marks are longer stitches, so they are easier to remove.
can you use this technique for names to be bigger than 5x7?
Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today???????
Every time I use sticky stabilizer my needle gets all gummed up. Any helpful hints?
I don't use it for that reason - it makes such a mess.
Is there a link to the first video please?
the first video is how to set up Multi Hooping in Hatch. ruclips.net/video/uFl-hkQBS_s/видео.html
These tutorials have finally allowed me to drop out of college!
