Excellent, i downloaded the video for later reference, thanks ✌️.. Btw, when i plumbed my bypass loop, i installed 2 bulkhead fittings in my water tank, the bypass loops are always submerged in cool water now..
That’s brilliant I appreciate and enjoy the feedback. Glad the video was able to help and thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with the rest of us. We are like a big family over here.
Any recommendation on the 300psi check valve? I actually had the oring bump out with pressure spike by not holding the gun when turning it off. And thank you for the good information.
I have locally searched high and low for this particular check valve and cannot find it anywhere.. I'm running a p-40 on my soft wash system with a metering system and the hydromixer xl.. my hose running to the real has blown off a few times already now. I sure would love to know where to get this elusive check valve you speak of.. 😁
When did they beef up the manifold and how can you tell if you bought the one that's beefed up, since we don't know how long they've been sitting on the shelf before it went out the door?
Anyone know how the hell you get the pump oil plug out of the bottom? Besides the location being insanely poor, it appears to take a 9mm hex or Allan, not a socket, and strips out easily before opening

Just blew the exact O ring right as I was finishing a 28,000 square foot roof. I will be putting a check valve on now 😂
I’m glad this video was helpful for you
thank you for this great vedio getting mine next week finally.
Glad it helped thx for the support
Awesome vid!! Thanks for the research, bro!
You bet!

No but that’s a really good idea I’m going to look into it and maybe put something on my new website that’s about to launch
Any updates on the check valve ?
US plastics:
3/4" FNPT x 3/4" FNPT Series 687 Polypropylene Check Valve with FKM Seals, 1/3 PSI Cracking Pressure & 302 SS Spring
@Squish he said minimum of 300psi
Great video 10/10👍
I really hope this helps a lot of people

Thanks for sharing. I was about to attempt to change my oil. Got about 400 more hours 😂
I’m glad we could help

I will make some follow-up videos on this system and more
Very informative
I try my best to always deliver for you all
Wish they made a bypass for this like they do with the pressure cleaning pumps
Yea a lot of People say the same thing
Thanks!
Thank You
How can we tell which P40 pumps have the beefed up manifolds? Is there a serial number range to look for or a revision number?
Great question buddy and I’ll email and get that answer
Wish it came with pressure gauge on regulator like ar how do u properly set psi?
You can always set one up on your unit to keep a check on things ,matter of fact I think Comet even recommends it
Where do we get this check valve? I've searched everywhere and cannot find a 3/4 300 PSI check valve it doesn't exist
Have you tried panhandle or Power Wash store or any place like that?
What check valve should I get?
A quick connect, gauge for measuring

We should make a video on that
Do you carry the check valve
?
I will once my shop we’re building is open this coming year
BVG 👏
Salute 🫡
U sell just the AR 45 pump and gearbox
Coming to our website Very soon!

Ok, so let me understand this correctly. 500hrs before the first pump oil change????
If that’s what the technician and Company says, then that would be yes
They also said in the video that you don’t necessarily have to, that’s just a reference point, or suggestion
I was considering a p40 but they sound like an absolute ball ache
Yea but you don’t have to change oil until at least 500 hours or more according to experts
So going to a 24 volt system instead. This sounds like a nightmare.
We are running both of them
Maybe the factory clowns should stop overfilling the pump and maybe comet should fit a check valve if it's required!
Thanks for the comment and support
More videos to come similar to this
What a nightmare, these engineers need to finish designing the last 20% of this product, I'll stick w electric.
I agree you should finish a product all the way out
Sooooo the customer should spend more money on a check valve rather than it be included or corrected? Hard pass for me.
I truly appreciate your feedback 👍
What size check valve do I need?
Depends on The type unit or machine u r operating or building
with those procedures all your doing is asking for problems. its a bad design and needs to be simplified.
Thx for the support and feedback
