I guess I already knew the difference between the brown vs black but had forgotten about it. So a nice reminder. I love the SSL's on drums, they make the drums pop in a nice way. When I imagine how the perfect drums should sound Bob Clearmountain on his SSL-desk is what comes up.

So you recently made a vid on the Scheps Omni Channel and you also reviewed the EV2 this year. Well, I bought both this year. For like $ 20 and $ 24 somehow. You know, Waves. Deals every week and people complaining about the update costs and limited uses. It's just a different sale model than say, Fabfilter. This said, Fabfilter makes surgical, forward thinking & experimental plugins, this is a vintage character plugin, the forte of Waves. It's comparing apples to oranges.

This plugin is decently good and priced! But the CPU usage is the part which I can stand god.
Is this Good for pretty much everything in a mix ?
Pretty much!! EQ, filters, compression, gate…. No verb/ delay etc
