Yes!!! I have said Helen should have been the main character in IKWYDLS for years I’m so happy someone agrees. Sarah Michelle gellar could have carried the films in a better direction
I love how much you love Scream 2, for me it's on par with the first one and that ghostface reveal is still the best, and the first with the mask on/off. Another great video Zack, pretty much agree with everything on this list.
I actually really love Valentine. I remember seeing it in the cinema. Inventive kills, a classic premise and an amazing soundtrack (if you’re a metalhead, if not, you’ll hate it 🤣) I’d completely forgotten about The Craft!. Was my ex girlfriends favourite movie when I was at college. That girl broke my heart, that’s probably why I’d blocked that movie from my mind 🤣
Love this video! Honestly these movies truly do have such a different vibe to them. Most horror movies these days rely so much on flashiness, jumpscares, and overt gore. Not that that's always the worst but sometimes I miss the actual teeny bopper drama in horror lol. Hopefully you'll be able to rank 2000s teen horror one day ❤

Definitely agree with the #1 spot for Scream. Craven was able to seamlessly add comedy & meta dialogue to a serious slasher movie. To this day, sooo many movies take a page from Scream. It's also nice to see that we're still getting Scream movies, now with the 5th being filmed.
Wow, just discovered your channel and it is PERFECT!!! I absolutely loved your analysis and ranking of all the films. I will _always_ say that Helen should’ve lived and Ray should’ve died in _”I Know What You Did Last Summer”. Then, in the sequel, Karla is still brought into film along with everyone else. I would’ve _loved_ to have seen Sarah Michelle Gellar, Brandy, & Jennifer Love Hewitt running around the island while everyone else is dying off around them. Yes, please!
I know what you did last summer ends right after SMG is killed off in my opinion. Killer gets away for part 2. It was my very first horror movie and I have loved it since first watch.

Scream was definitely innovative and a legendary film to come out from the 90s...but Halloween H20 and I know what you did last summer take the trophy for me!
I watched The Faculty for the first time last year and, while I liked it a lot, I feel like you would enjoy it way more if I had watched it back in the 90s or 00's.
I saw The Rage: Carrie 2 in theaters. When I described it to a friend, she thought it was ridiculous that heads were being severed off by flying CDs! In hindsight, it is silly, but it was still rather gory for a film that wasn't about gore.

Thank you ... I always look for the listed comment on these kinds of videos ... Took me a bit this time 🤣
I’ve owned every single movie on this list😬 Urban Legend, Valentine, Disturbing Behavior, IKWYDLS and of course Scream, are my top favs
I feel like final destination should be on this list as well.
It would be first for me
Seeing Urban Legend as a middle school aged kid really disturbed me for a while. Multiple kills in the movie stuck with me in a way that kept me scared after it was over. Watching it now that feels a bit silly but I appreciate it for doing an effective job at the time!
Awesome list! Disturbing Behavior is one of my favorites and I'm glad to see it got a respectable ranking.
Great vid! Love 90’s teen horror. Disappointed final destination wasn’t on and surprised to see the craft. Not sure if they fit the criteria but also thought about jeepers creepers and joy ride
Yes!!! I have said Helen should have been the main character in IKWYDLS for years I’m so happy someone agrees. Sarah Michelle gellar could have carried the films in a better direction
I am so happy I found your channel, Zack. You're making the content I've been looking for. Thank you for all your hard work. I can't wait for more.
I love how much you love Scream 2, for me it's on par with the first one and that ghostface reveal is still the best, and the first with the mask on/off.
Another great video Zack, pretty much agree with everything on this list.
Scream 2 very dope sequel
I actually really love Valentine. I remember seeing it in the cinema. Inventive kills, a classic premise and an amazing soundtrack (if you’re a metalhead, if not, you’ll hate it 🤣)
I’d completely forgotten about The Craft!.
Hopefully you'll be able to rank 2000s teen horror one day ❤
Would you consider doing a video on your horror vinyl collection? I’d love that!
Possibly!
I couldn't asked for a better selection !! You've knocked it out of the park with these movies .. they are all my favorites LOL ! .. Amazing job on this video !!
Scream is my fav (all 4 movies) so excited they are making a fifth movie in 2022 !!
scream is my favourite as well. I love your videos so much and I absolutely love horror movies. Thank you for making videos and keep up the good work x
I happened to agree with all of your opinions and this was so special for me as I love rewatching these horror films quite often (especially the Scream movies and I love Halloween H20). I really enjoy old timey horror films in particular Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street. I just subscribed and gave it a like, now I MUST go binge watch more of your videos. Thank you.💕
"Valentine" is sooo underrated!
Combination of Wes Craven's direction and Kevin Williamson's script writing is the best
Of course Scream is #1! Best horror movie ever!
Man I love this channel! Not only could I watch it all day but it gives me loads of horror movie choices and there ratings 🤩🤩like yes 😌😌
Your first rankings video I’m totally on board with.
The Craft has got to be my favorite movie of all time. Not only is it a classic but I was born 1 year when this came out
As you were getting higher on the list, I was worried that The Faculty wasn't going to be mentioned. Great placement on the list!
I saw the title and thought “Jesus Zack, how masochistic are you?”
Yeah people basically watch the Carrie movies just to see how is she going to torch the prom room this time.
I know what you did last summer ends right after SMG is killed off in my opinion. Killer gets away for part 2. It was my very first horror movie and I have loved it since first watch.
@@joeertman 10000%
This sums up my experience, Helen in my opinion is one of the best 90s Horror characters
Agreed. SMG was so good as Helen and I preferred her character to Julie, helens death sequence is so suspenseful, she was the best part of the movie
I’m glad you put Soul Survivors on here, even though it’s abysmally bad. Eliza is the only reason to watch 🖤
Halloween H20 is such a guilty pleasure
@Jhonathan Martins yeah the best sequels are 2018 h20 and 2 (and i like them in that order)
I agree. I could watch that movie over and over...
@Jhonathan Martins
Disagree it is one of the worst sequels of the series. It is garbage. Just awful.
Your kick ass make a video room has become so fucking awesome!! Keep rocking, Cherry
How can be I know What Did behind I Still Know, Scream 3, Disturbing Behaviour, Halloween H20, Valentine, Urban Legends and The Faculty? It should be at the 3rd place after Scream and Scream 2
Yes!!!
Great list! Only real thing I’d argue against is placing Bride of Chucky so low - love that movie!
I only saw soul survivors cuz eliza Dushku and didn't get it. I loved the rage Carrie 2. Recently saw valentine again and it didn't age well. The craft is one of my personal favorites and is great through and through. Scream will always be number one
i actually love scream 3, its so fun to watch
It's really underrated to me
@@bradywest3116 yeah it isnt even that bad, the voice changer is annoying but it was a creative idea at least
@@guccionmycuchi1360 for real🤦at least they tried somethin new
Same! It’s my second favorite of the franchise.
I know what you did last summer and I still know are just as good as Scream for me personally, otherwise great list
Agree, these two were the kings of this subgenre in the 90s.
I agree with this list on so many levels! Thank you for amazing content. The only thing I would have added, somewhere on the list, is Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Love a Heather Langenkamp return, and the movie's concept was ahead of it's time.
If you switched Valentine and I Know What You Did Last Summer, I think I’d agree with your list 100%.
I knew you were gonna put scream 1st before I even watched it, how could you not?!? Good list man!
For me it
All of the scream trilogy
The faculty
Still know what you did
Bride of chucky
Valentine
Urban legend
Cherry falls
Disturbing behavior
Great video! ❤️ From france 😂 i dont saw all the movies but here is my personnal top :
1) Scream 😱
2) Scream 2
3) Scream 3
4) Urban Legend
5) Bride of Chucky
6) Valentine
7) I know what you did
8) I still know what you did
9) Urban legend 2
I love making top
😱😂 My god tey are all slashers!
To me, IKWYDLS and ISKWYDLS are awsome movies. The first one has a great eerie atmosphire and the second one is pure chase and adrenaline
One of my favorite horror channels and i love the theme music at the beginning
Scream was definitely innovative and a legendary film to come out from the 90s...but Halloween H20 and I know what you did last summer take the trophy for me!
I really loved this era of horror movies and miss this time period in my life as well. Things were just so much better back then.
Yes! Amazing video Zack!!! 😍
GREAT RANKINGS. Love how high The Faculty was. Soooo surprised Scream was number one. ;-) Also your hair looks cute!
Thank you!! 😁
I watched The Faculty for the first time last year and, while I liked it a lot, I feel like you would enjoy it way more if I had watched it back in the 90s or 00's.
I gotta check so many of these out. Idle Hands is so underrated, but I get why you put it low-ish. It’s comedy-horror more than horror-comedy.
Scream is and always will be my favorite movie franchise
I saw The Rage: Carrie 2 in theaters. When I described it to a friend, she thought it was ridiculous that heads were being severed off by flying CDs! In hindsight, it is silly, but it was still rather gory for a film that wasn't about gore.
HE’S BACK!!
I enjoyed your list. I totally agree with you on your number 1 pick. Scream reinvented the horror genre.
i’ve stayed away from a lot of these 90s- early 2000s horror movies so this is going to be an interesting watch
Shouldn't stay away from the Scream franchise at least
@@bradywest3116 For real I wonder if someone seeing it for the first time today could have the same appreciation as someone who saw it when it came out when it did, it would be hard to really feel our original the movie is....There was nothing like it at the time
that means you have a lot of good stuff to watch..lucky man or dog💪
I knew you would rank Scream # 1! The best horror film after the original Halloween. Brilliant!
No better two horror movies I stg
Scream 1 and 2 would be my two favorites for sure. I do think that The Faculty is still super underrated. I tried to watch it a couple months back and couldn’t find it streaming anywhere which is a bummer.
Buy the blu ray.

Good list dude! Love the faculty! I would re-deranged them a bit to my liking, but it’s your list. Respect! The only one I would put a lot lower is valentine and bring I know what you did last summer higher.
pretty shocked by your Valentine placement, it's definitely nostalgic for me but wouldn't rank that higher than some of your others
Gotta love these rankings ❤️
Dude is cherry really your last name? Bc thats fuckin awesome if so 🙌😂
Thumbs up for putting the sequel to I know what you did last summer over the original.
