@@ItsCoolFromSaturn Probably Saturn (for Sonic) and jaguar (for the original AvP game). I'm more of a Nintendo gamer with some arcade roots, but even if I'll never be able to play these games, it's cool to learn about. For me, this game is like a cross between F-Zero and Hydro Thunder.
Ive actually had fun with this game. Its recieved alot of criticism over the years that it didn't deserve. Do I like it better than Wipeout? No. But its a very nice title to add to a collection thats still very reasonably priced considering the price of alot of Saturn titles. Definitely worth picking up.

when i saw the 6 pink squares on the left side i worked out its the same video clip shown in hard quiz! I thought id be the only one here but it seems a few people found your channel. I live in the uk and sonic was a huge game at the time. I was surprised Tom acted like he never heard of it. Wasnt it big in Aus?
The border is an authentic Video Toaster background from a booster pack CD you could buy back in 1993, I think? In any case I cut out the middle to make a border and have a red one for Jag games. I'm actually from England originally, Cornwall specifically. Although, I found out after moving to Australia that Sega was big here too. Not as big as the UK (they didn't have the Sega Pirate here for instance) but you think he would have been a BIT more clued up.
Odd....loads are reviewing this lately. Weirdly enough i remember when i had a VHS of a promo for Sega Saturn, with games not complete but coming soon like Sega rally and vf2. This was on it and looked pretty fast and fluid compared to the finished product. I certainly remember that rockin tune with vocals.😊

I have the PAL version with the good music. This game looks pretty good at first, but the intermission scenes look so cheap and the game really doesn't hold up after a while. Fun enough to complete, but not more than that. 6/10.
It is somewhat frustrating at times. That said, it's mostly on the tail end of the advanced game that you notice but it is something that had to be mentioned.

Definitely a fair take. It's well worth a play. I have to admit I prefer the US version music though. I can't go past mid-90s alt rock.
