Goodbye.

Hello.

Saying goodbye to this chapter of my life is one of the hardest things i've ever had to do. When making this video - it reminded me of all of the memories, laughs, and adventures we've shared together. I remember the first day I made a youtube and I put my subscriber counter on my iMac.. and just stared at it all day. From the morning I woke up until the moment I went to sleep. I remember the joy I felt when I hit one thousand subscribers. I was like.. dear God. How did I get so lucky. Then it was two thousand.. then one hundred thousand.. THEN A MILLION. Words cannot express how much social media has effected my life.. how much ALL of you have changed my life. I didn't ever want it to end.
IF you haven't saw my recent social media post from earlier this week, this is what I wrote ;
Social media has always been my other half. In fact - it's pretty much who I am. When I noticed a lack of passion in creating content for my social media platforms - I felt it was time for a change. Considering social media has been my full time focus.. it has also been a way to create a full time job. With my anxiety hitting an all time high for the past few months of my life, on top of no knowledge of what my next step was going to be.. I became gravely depressed. I have grew up as a catholic in a catholic household. During this time of being depressed - I turned to God. This then made me come up with the idea to create a channel and Instagram simply dedicated to living life through God, & my journey. I was originally going to quit all of my social media and start a fresh new life. After weeks of going over this in my head - I realized I can't just let down all the peoples lives i've touched over the past 3 years - & just disappear. Nor do I want to. I just want to be myself. I’m tired of worrying about views and likes - about how others perceive me - about how thin or good I look in photos and videos ; I just want to be Taylor. I’m going to continue to make videos for myself and my biggest supporters. I love you all & im so excited for this chapter in my life.
