  • The universe has a speed limit. Nothing in the universe can travel faster than the speed of light. But Why ? In this video we will discuss how did we come up with the notion of a constant speed of light and how it changed everything we knew about light , space and time. Why nothing can travel faster than light ? Why massive objects can't travel at the speed of light. And how to a photon time doesn't tick. And finally how everything in the universe travels through spacetime at the speed of light. And that the speed of light is really the speed of causality.

Good mix of things. Causality as a concept is drawn by the state of things in frame of observer, as we can see things due to reflection of light, that's why our limits are set on speed of light. In QM all states exist in same time because the domain is different and thus it obey different laws. Causality still has to answer what caused the universe to exist.

Priyansh, Thank you for another insightful video! I have a question.
Eo and µo are electromagnetic properties that establish the speed of light. At its most fundamental level, light is charge being passed through spacetime. So, are gluons and gravity also charge, or is there some other property of spacetime with a common variable that establishes the speed of light?⚡

I don't actually think that light is "charge" I mean it's neutral it doesn't have any charge. But it is the force carrier of the electromagnetic force which is a force between particles with charge. Gluons on the other do have color charge ( strong force is a force between particles with color charge). I hope this helps or you can rephrase what you meant.

      @@priyanshnamdeo Priyansh,
First of all, I greatly appreciate your reply. I understand that light doesn’t have a charge, but it is made of charge.
Photons are self-propagating waves of electric and magnetic charges. Remove the charges and nothing remains. Electrons increase their own energy by completely absorbing photons.
I am trying to understand what makes all particles. What makes an electron? Is it the same charge that came from the photon?
An electron and a positron can be created from a gamma ray. Are all particles made of pure energy like photons? Is this energy contained in waves of charge?
What separates one type of particle from another? Is it what they are made of or is it their properties?
      Thank you.

Light has rates of induction. Not speed.
