  • CAN THE FUTURE BE ALREADY EXISTING ? WHAT DOES QUANTUM MECHANICS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS | BLOCK UNIVERSE PART 2 |
In the last video we talked about the block universe in terms of relativity. This video talks about how quantum mechanics changes the picture of the block universe. Given the role of probability in quantum mechanics , can a block universe be even possible ?

Whatever you do, don’t stop doing this videos. You have untapped potential. Your video production and quality will only get better and better. Keep it up. See you in the future.

      Thank you!
It really made me feel good , and yes I would continue making these videos at least that’s the plan as of now.

This is such a great video. It always seemed to me that the reality of the uncertainty of properties at the quantum level, could undermine the eternalist block universe and its static theory when it comes to temporal passage. I am though interested in what your thoughts are on a radical theory of time (one which no one seems to literally defend). This model of time can be described as the “shrinking block theory.” This view would claim that both future and present moments/events, exist and are real, while the past does not exist and is unreal (it is similar to an inversion of the growing block theory). The block shrinks as each present moment disappears into the past.
