An excellent research and rebuttal by Dr. Sarah Knight to Western historians who don't believe that St Thomas came to India. I don't think Syrian Christians of Kerala would have ever become Christians if the saint had not come to India! 🙏

Thanks for researching the st.thomas christians history in scientific way. Western historians always try to fade the importance of East historical facts. Thanks for bringing up the truth one more time so that New generations who falls in to western teachings can rethink their views. About bhramin view, there was not only namboothri bhramins exists in southern India lots of different bhramins clans are there. Northern kerala and Mangalore bhramins are not nambootiris so there was bhramins community of different sects in 1st century

From what references you are saying that there were brahmins of a different kind than Nambuthiris in Ketala in the first century AD ?
What was that sect called ? Where did they disappear after that ? Do you understand what "thallal" means in modern day colloquial Malayalam? If not, that is what you as well as Sara Knight are trying to do here !

Points 6 & 7 - I can distinguish between a Nasrani and others just by their looks and manners. The Kerala Jewery's case is similar. Nasranis look more similar to Cochin /Malabari Jews (not Paradesi) than native. The architecture, dresses, food and many factors are more similar to the Jewish community than to Hindus. Most importantly there are DNA studies that prove Nasranis Jews and that the Brahmin story is false.
As far as I know the points you said apply to the Kerala Jews too!! Many Kerala Jews used to marry from Nasranis as well. Judaism is not a religion that teaches to kill on someone's apostasy especially Christianity was a denomination within Judaism then. A Messiah is only required for Jews as a Messiah (in this case, the descendant of David who would restore the kingdm of Israel) - you can see this in Matthew 10:5 and Matthew 15 where Jesus himself says that he did not come for the gentiles.
For a person like Thomas, converting non-Jews in the name of an anointed person for Jews itself wouldn't make any sense.
Also, Paul in Galatians say that Peter and the people with him had the responsibility of preaching to the circumcised - this includes Thomas (as he was under Peter)

"For a person like Thomas, converting non-Jews in the name of an anointed person for Jews itself wouldn't make any sense." & "A Messiah is only required for Jews as a Messiah (in this case, the descendant of David who would restore the kingdm of Israel) - you can see this in Matthew 10:5 and Matthew 15 where Jesus himself says that he did not come for the gentiles."
My brother, I would say that your statements don't make any sense and very dangerous. Jesus Christ himself said that the Word shall be preached to all nations & he is for everyone( Matthew 24:14, John 10:14-18, John 3:16-19 etc). With your twisted arguments, you are insulting Christ and the missionary works of St. Paul, other saints, apostles and martyrs who boldly proclaimed the Word. You may refer to the Biblical writings of St Paul and other apostles who were guided by the Holy Spirit(Acts 10, Acts 2:21 etc), for further proofs that Jesus Christ's sacrifice was not just for Jews, but for Gentiles too. Also keep in mind that many of these Apostles have seen & experienced Jesus Christ's glory.
As for true interpretation of the verses you have quoted, I would advice you to look up the commentaries of theologians such as St John Chrysostom, St. Augustine etc. Their Bible commentaries are available online.
"Judaism is not a religion that teaches to kill on someone's apostasy especially Christianity was a denomination within Judaism then. "
Deuteronomy 13:6-11 clearly states that apostate permitted by those under the law(Israelites) must be punished by death. As for the second statement, although the reality was that until the Jewish-Roman wars, its important to understand that the leaders of the Jews were in no way symphetic to the early Christians. After all it is the Jewish leaders who got Christ crucified.
Though presence of Jews in Kerala may have influenced St. Thomas's arrival, it in no way has influenced him to limit his missionary work to Jews only as we know that his missionary strenched from Middle East to areas of modern-day Pakistan, North India and Malabar based on the writings of early church leaders.

@@justdi883 The first points you said is a Christian view but it doesn't make any sense.
On apostasy, yes you're right but there are many more laws that are considered if someone is to be executed for apostasy. The commandment mainly aims at people who are apostates and then lead others astray. But then Christianity never saw Jesus as a god and so they started as a sect within Judaism.

@@suriyanikkaran My brother in Christ ✝️, I don't understand what doesn't make sense to you. After all the scriptures speak for themselves on the matters I have mentioned and the baseless arguments you have raised. The fact that apostles had no doubt in the divinity of Christ is evident(John 20:24-29, John 1, Colossians 1 etc).
The Roman officials who lived near those timeline (Celsius, Lucian, Plinny the Younger, Suetonius, Flavian Josephus etc) also attest that Christ is worshipped by the early Christians. Also the writings of Tacitus state that even though Jews and Christians may have shared synagogues, they were easily distinguishable.
      Amen
