  • How to Float - Treading Water
    In this video we will be going through treading and how to keep your head above the water.
    First and foremost it is always easier to practice and learne with a noodle.
    Place the noodle between your legs like as if you were riding a horse. keep your arms close to your chest for balance.
    Exercise #1 - Long Strides.
    Take large steps and scoop (with the sole of your foot) and put the water behind you as you walk around.
    Exercise #2 - Egg Beater.
    Scoop with the sole of your foot inward and up as if doing a foot sweep, then push the water out and around again.
    Exercise #3 - Froggy Legs.
    V, Hook, Whip - exact same as breaststroke
    IMPORTANT: Head must remain out the water for all exercises
